In the TikTok from @lifewithhattiemae, the child sat on the floor with the fashionable Frenchie as she placed some bracelets over his paws. The little girl was very gentle while carefully styling the fur baby with beaded bling, and seemingly very strategic on picking the full ensemble.

The canine cutie was completely compliant, though the expression on his face revealed his reluctance. He looked quite bashful and uncertain of the whole experience, but willing to continue if it made the little girl happy.

"This was not his idea," the onscreen text explained.

The patient pooch clearly wasn't cut out for the prep and primping it takes to be a model, yet he put his own feelings aside for his little bestie.

Followers raved over the Frenchie's devotion to the child and gave him props for being such a good sport.

"It’s the way he’s just casually allowing it at this point," one noted.

"Whatever the tiny human wants — Living his best life," someone remarked.

"He's like, 'fine, I'll only tolerate this because I love you," a follower posted.

"He looks so over it," another pointed out.

"This frenchie loves his little human so much he’s willing to partake in what ever activities make her happy," a fan commented.

Despite the name, French Bulldogs did not originate in France. They were first bred in England during the 1800s as smaller versions of the English Bulldog. Lace makers brought these fur babies with them when they moved to France during the Industrial Revolution. The breed gained popularity there, prompting the "French" moniker.

French Bulldogs are known for their gentle, loving nature and make wonderful companions. This precious pup beautifully demonstrated how Frenchies are always willing to go the extra mile for loved ones.

Great Danes are massive, and what's more, they're magnets for trouble. People call them gentle giants, and they certainly are that, but they're also insane. These horse-sized pups love chaos, and a lot of them also love kids, which goes hand-in-paw.

Nico the Great Dane was surprisingly good at driving the getaway board: the way it seemed so easy for him to push it along makes me think this was not the first time. He did exactly what I would've done: wait until his brother was distracted.

Taking in the bins was the perfect opportunity. After the boy is heard proclaiming, "he stole my ride," someone in the comments said, "bro, he IS your ride." It's a fair judgment when you consider that Nico was approximately the same size as the Trojan Horse.

It was bone cancer, unfortunately, and Nico crossed the Rainbow Bridge at just 3 years old. This fate is decently common for Great Danes, but that doesn't make it any less tragic. While he was here, though, Nico was well-loved and very entertained.

Big dogs in general have a much, much higher risk of bone cancer (and cancers as a whole) than smaller ones, and Great Danes are proof of that. These goofy, gentle giants have one of the shortest lifespans of any breed, typically ranging from just 8-10 years.

Great Danes are particularly prone to osteosarcoma, at about 30x more likely than other breeds to develop it. There have been several studies done that provide different estimates, but anywhere from 10-25% of Great Danes will develop OSA in their lifetimes. This cancer causes:

“Voice of an angle,” one person wrote, and honestly, yes. Not an angel, an angle.

Noodle stood in front of a glittery blue birthday banner with streamers hanging down and a big, gold "3" balloon. The birthday fur baby had a celebratory black and silver plushie bone in his mouth to add some extra bling to the day.

The Golden Lab was bursting with joy and couldn't stand still. Noodle performed a full-on tap dance that looked like it was choreographed for a Broadway show. The fur baby bopped like a pro, yet the moves seem to come naturally to him. Noodle never stopped dancing throughout the entire video and wasn't winded in the slightest.

Apparently, Noodle likes to groove on a regular basis. The social media account was packed with posts of the dancing dog busting a move in various settings. Whether he was in the car or at home, Noodle was doing some sort of impressive jig worthy of the Rockettes.

They say the longer you have pets, the more you all start to look alike. My dogs detest taking a bath. There are no words strong enough to express their utter hatred for getting in the tub and dealing with a full shampoo. My Dachshund tries to escape several times while the water is running, and my Pug mix has to be carried through the door. His mother was very gentle with the 5-week-old pup throughout the entire bath and let him smell the shampoo before she sudsed him up. He even lay on his side when his mom had to rinse off his round puppy belly. The canine cutie was completely compliant during his mini glam session.

She swaddled Burgundy in a towel like a human baby once he was finished. The clean, cloud-like puffball was so relaxed, he started to doze off. His mom gently used a hair dryer to warm him up as he rested in her arms. It was almost like a little spa treatment.

Burgundy looked like a floofy stuffed animal post-bath and showed his appreciation by giving his mom kisses.

Followers fell in love with the fur baby and were a bit envious of his mom's tub time with the pooch.

Wiley, the Siberian Husky, is one pampered pup. Time sure flies when you have an adorable little Dachshund.

It seemed like just yesterday that Lady, the Dachshund, was celebrating her birthday with her mom with an adorable cake and shopping spree, but this week, they were celebrating the one-year anniversary of her Gotcha Day.

Gotcha Day is the day a dog was adopted from a shelter, humane society, or breeder and brought to their forever home.

Lady's mom, Abby Baffoe, an influencer, decided to celebrate the day by posting a photo slideshow of some of their first memories.

The first night, Baffoe went to pick up Lady in Atlanta, but they couldn't get back to NYC because their flight was canceled, so they had to stay at a Four Seasons hotel.

Then things get really glamorous, as we see photos of Lady's first modeling gig with Mom, her first purchase from Louis Vuitton, and her first stay at the iconic Plaza Hotel.

But it isn't all shopping and hotels for this little dog, as she also completed dog training school, learned to swim (reluctantly), and her mom even documented her having a not-very-glamorous accident on her Baffoe's bed.

Of course, then it was back to more chic memories: campaign photo shoots, Lady and her mom appearing on a billboard in Times Square, being the inspiration for a pajama line her mom did, and winning first place in a Halloween costume contest (she was a hot dog!)

They also took gorgeous Christmas cards together, and Lady was there for her mom's biggest milestone of buying a house at the beach in Michigan this year.

Quite a life she has packed into just a little over a year!

“I knew from the start that Flossie was a special cat, but I didn’t imagine I’d share my home with a world-record holder,” Green told The New York Post. “I’ve always wanted to give older cats a comfortable later life. I’m immensely proud that Cats Protection matched me with such an amazing cat.”

Even with age-related conditions, the beautiful Tortoiseshell senior is otherwise in excellent health. Birds are some of the most commonly mistreated pets out there. People will buy birds because they're pretty, but they don't really understand how they actually need to care for them. Birds need a lot more than you might think!

One Peacock was recently rescued from a horrible situation, and he was really struggling. He was completely bare, no feathers in sight... Until he got to his new home. It seems like a little love was all he needed to grow back his beautiful feathers:

Suki the Lion gave this Peacock the home he deserves, and you can clearly tell that it's working. When he first got there, there were no feathers on his body whatsoever. Apparently, he had been kept in a cage for his entire life.

He and several other Peacocks had been having their feathers plucked out, so all of the plucking you see in the first part of this video wasn't self-harm. It was intentional. While not all feathers will come back, especially with repeated plucking, his feathers are doing great!

He even found a partner who was in a very similar condition. They've both been growing back their feathers together, and they look great! Growing back their feathers is only one step in a huge healing journey, but they're taking it on together!

When a bird plucks their feathers, they'll take weeks or even months to grow back, depending on the bird. There's also a risk of re-injury: traumatized birds or birds with a history of self-harm will continue to pluck budding feathers. If they're not monitored, continued plucking will result in permanent balding.

Clearly, whoever was keeping all of these Peacocks and plucking them was selling their feathers. You don't just do that for fun. Peacocks are famous for their stunning feathers.

Peacock feathers are used for decoration. People will craft things out of them, like accessories or home decor. Alternatively, you can often find them sold by themselves, meant for use as:

• Craft supplies.
• Centerpieces.
• Making banners/garlands.

When you're caught off guard, it can be tough to contain your surprise. Most of the time, that shock is written all over your face.

Apparently, pets, too, can't hide their true feelings when confronted with the unexpected either. Even typically cool cats can appear unnerved!

In a funny TikTok clip, we see a tiny foster kitten react with total confusion upon spotting an adult cat in the home, and it's adorable and hilarious. Take a look!

"My foster kitten was shook when he saw my cat," the foster kitty's family captions the clip. "He looked so surprised."

He sure did! That head swivel is too funny. He's clearly concerned, and it's too cute!

Viewers couldn't get enough of this sweet reaction and had plenty to say as they imagined what might be going through the kitten's mind.

I've never heard that expression, but it truly sums it up!

"He was really trying to process reality!!!😂," someone else commented.

It looks as if he wants his kitty companion to weigh in, but the other little one is pretty chill about this new development.

“I took a 5-minute nap, and there’s a dinosaur in here,” one viewer joked.

Who can resist a kitten? We can't. And it's important to savor every second of kittenhood because these funny felines grow up pretty quickly!

In fact, kittens typically double their birth weight during the first week. By 7 weeks old, their senses are developed, and they're rapidly gaining independence. Between 9 and 12 weeks of age, kittens are ready to play and even hunt. By 14 weeks, they've hit adolescence and are ready to be adopted. Aw. And we think children grow fast!

It's funny to watch the wheels turning in this kitty's brain as he tries to process this big cat. We hope the more mature cat befriends these little guys and shows them how cats of all sizes can be friends!

You hear kids yelling across the field, and then suddenly everything changes. “TOMMY, WANNA COME PLAY WITH US?” and just like that, this German Shepherd is fully invited, fully included, and fully ready to go. He pauses for half a second, looks back at his mom like, is this happening? Am I allowed? And then he is gone. No hesitation. Just pure joy. The following clip makes me so happy. As someone who grew up playing outside with other neighborhood kids, this is absolutely the best.

In the clip, Tommy takes off running toward his little human friends in this open field between houses, instantly becoming part of the game like he has always been on the team. Not awkward. Not unsure. Just locked in. It is the kind of moment that feels simple but hits you right in the feels for some reason.

All of a sudden you hear ‘TOMMY, WANNA COME PLAY WITH US?’. Then Tommy looks at me as if he would ask ‘Can I go mom? Really? The German Shepherd named Tommy in the TikTok video from @tommythesoccerdog is getting everyone in their feels, and the comments prove this.

“Remember when we were kids, and we played soccer with that cool German Shepherd? That was the best,” one person wrote, and honestly, that feels like a memory I somehow already have.

Another said, “I don’t know what was better, the dog joining or just seeing kids out playing together,” which is so real. Kids outside, no phones, just running around with a dog like it's 1998 again.

“Tommy has a better social life than me,” someone added, which… yeah. Same.

“And all those kids’ parents know they have a built-in bodyguard pupper,” which is actually such a comforting thought. Big, loyal dog, right there in the mix.

And then, “This will be a core memory for everyone involved,” which feels exactly right. You can see it happening in real time.

I keep thinking about how my own pets would handle this. Kingston would be overwhelmed in 3 seconds and just bark his dumb head off. Meatball would sit in the middle of the field and refuse to move. Tommy? Tommy said, put me in, I’m ready.

German Shepherds are often great with kids, especially when they are raised with them or properly socialized from a young age. They are known for being loyal, protective, and incredibly intelligent, which makes them naturally tuned into the people around them.

That said, like any dog, it really comes down to the individual pup’s personality, training, and experiences. A well-socialized German Shepherd who has been exposed to different people, environments, and situations is much more likely to be calm, confident, and gentle around children.

Some of you were worried about the street being close by. Here's what Tommy will do: he'll check for cars, wait if one is coming, chase the ball to stop it, and wait for a kid to get it. Then he'll herd them back to the grassy field. They also tend to form strong bonds with their families and can be very protective, which is why you often hear people describe them as natural “guard dogs.” But in everyday situations like this one, that loyalty shows up as engagement, playfulness, and just wanting to be part of whatever their people are doing.

It is always important to supervise interactions, especially with younger kids, and to teach both the dog and the children how to interact respectfully. But when everything lines up, you get moments like this. A dog who is not just tolerated, but invited. Not just present, but part of the group.

And judging by Tommy, he is absolutely living for it.
