Cuba Man Receives 60-Day Sentence For Fatal DWI Crash

A Cuba man was sentenced Jan. 24 to a 60-day shock sentence for a fatal DWI crash in 2018.

Brock A. Turner, 48, pleaded guilty to the charge and has begun serving his sentence.

Catawissa Man Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend's Son

A Catawissa man was charged Wednesday with assaulting his girlfriend’s adult son.

James W. Bess, Jr., 54, faces one count of third-degree assault.

Owensville Man Charged In Fentanyl Seizure

An Owensville man was arrested Feb. 2 after members of the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG) seized fentanyl, methamphetamine and MDMA.
