Sullivan Police will have a new look on the way for their patrol vehicles. The department is going to a traditional all black and white look. The changes will be phased in as vehicles are replaced. This patrol vehicle was changed due to an insurance paint upgrade.

Sullivan Police are aggressively pursuing three black male suspects believed to have held a Sullivan woman at gunpoint while they searched her home for another individual, while a three-year-old child slept in the home.
According to Sullivan Police, they were called to the 200 block of Virginia St. early Friday morning at 3:59 a.m. for a reported home invasion.

Lady Eagles To Play For Championship

Sullivan will play for the championship at the Hillsboro Lady Hawks Tournament on Saturday after defeating Ritenour 58-44.
It marks the second straight year Sullivan will appear in the tournament finale. They cruised to an easy victory over Ritenour in the championship game last season.
The two teams were tied after the end of the first quarter on Thursday, but Sullivan pulled away from that point.

Wrestling Tops Warrenton

Sullivan’s wrestling team defeated Warrenton 48-33 in a dual meet on Tuesday night at SHS.
The Eagles are 11-4 in dual meets this season.
On Monday, Sullivan beat Brentwood and Missouri Military Academy in a tri-meet. The Eagles nipped Brentwood 35-33 and dominated MMA 66-12.
Sullivan is scheduled to be at Maplewood for a tri-meet, also against John Burroughs. The busy week continues on Saturday in Buffalo with the “Pin to Win” tournament.
