Edith McKee
Edith McKee, age 59 of Sullivan, Missouri passed away as the result of an automobile accident on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Edith Louise was born on January 12, 1965 in Jefferson City, MO to the late Paul Edward and Norris Lee (Cashatt) McKee. She was raised and attended school in Jefferson City until her junior year graduating from Summersville High School class of 1983.
Edith was exceptionally gifted in Mathematics and worked as an estimator for Wahls Woodworking and Molding for 30 years. She most recently was employed by Kirkwood Stair and Millwork of Pacific. Edith was a hardworking, dedicated and punctual employee.
Edith loved her family and supported them in any way that she could. She was also thoughtful and caring to anyone who was in need, always willing to lend a helping hand. Edith was a dedicated Christian and attended Sullivan Family Worship Center. Reading her Bible, singing in her beautiful soprano voice and attendance church were among her favorite things to do.
Edith loved her children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She will be missed by her beloved family, church family, work family and many friends.
She is survived by her children, Matthew Tuttle of House Springs, MO, Andrew Bethel of St. Clair, MO and Christian Bethel of Sullivan, MO; four grandchildren, Skylee, Braxton, Jaylynne and Blaze Bethel; her 104 -year- old grandmother, Sylvia Cashatt of Fresno, CA; three siblings, Rachel, Glenda and Philip McKee all of Jefferson City, MO; other relatives and many friends.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Norris McKee.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Sullivan Family Worship Center in Sullivan with Pastor Duncan and Joe Skiles officiating.
The McKee family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Sullivan Family Worship Center in Sullivan, MO.
