The varsity boys (1-13) are still searching for their second win heading into week six. They fell to last place at the St. James Invitational, which took place from Jan. 20 to 25.
The Eagles were starving for victory at their Takedown Hunger Scramble on Jan. 17. They cleared their plate, beating Central (Park Hills) 54-18, Dexter 66-18 and Osage 53-30.
The Eagles (1-10) tipped off January with three uphill battles. Sullivan first faced adversity at home, losing to Warrenton (59-48) and Desoto (63-43).
The Lady Eagles clinched five podium spots at a conference tournament in St. Clair on Jan. 14.
