A24 Releases Teaser Trailer for Upcoming Horror Film 'Backrooms'
A24 has released the first look at its upcoming horror filmBackrooms. The film, based on the internet Creepypasta (an urban legend spread and augmented by the internet) by YouTuber Kane Parsons, is set for release on May 29.
The film will bring the indie YouTube horror series to life, adapting it from a small-scale project to a high-budget feature film. While longtime fans had their doubts surrounding the films ability to remain true to the source material, they were pleased to know that the creator of the original concept would play a huge role in the film.
Parsons will make his directorial debut with A24 at only 20 years old, making him the youngest person to lead an A24 production ever. Starring in the upcoming film will be Hollywood stars Renate Reinsve, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell and Avan Jogia.

The teaser immediately caught the attention of fans for its eerie imagery. The short clip depicts a basement with an armchair in the corner. Moving between shots, the camera sinks beneath the floor of the already barren room to show the same room... just slightly off. Throughout a series of shots, the once normal-looking room melts into something abnormal—shifting from a once familiar reality to an uncanny one.
Ejiofor's voice is overlaid on the teaser, providing viewers with just enough context to leave them wanting more.
"I found something... I found a place. It's massive in there. It just goes on and on and on. All these rooms. This place builds them. Actually more like it remembers them. And the more times it remembers something, the less it does."
Kane Parsons' VisionThe origins of the Backrooms Creepypasta date back to 2019 when a 4chan user posted an unnerving photo of an empty room. The uncanny image of the liminal space went viral, influencing internet users to expand on the concept of "glitching" out of reality. In 2022, Kane Pixels, a YouTuber and aspiring filmmaker inspired by the urban legend, posted a video titled "The Backrooms (Found Footage)."
The short nine-minute video depicted a cameraman falling through the ground of our reality into an ominous new one. The new reality, known as the "Backrooms," is an empty abyss resembling familiar barren areas—like an office space or shipping facility. The flickering fluorescent lights and seemingly endless emptiness made for a deeply unsettling yet revolutionary video for horror. While Parsons wasn't the original creator of the Creepypasta, he is widely credited with popularizing it and building the foundation for what the legend has become today. Since its release, his video has garnered over 71 million views.
Fans of the Creepypasta took to the teaser's comments section to express their enthusiasm for the project:
"Genuinely the best explanation for the Backrooms I’ve seen yet. Sticking to the original lore of it being the manifestation of hazy, shifting memories of old, smelly, yet familiar office spaces."
"Actually the most fascinating interpretation of the Backrooms I’ve seen yet, it replicates rooms over and over, operating like a sort of "brain" slowly forgetting details until the room doesn't even resemble the original anymore."
"EXACTLY the type of creative teaser cinematography I was hoping for"

'Beyond the Gates' Star Teases Victor Newman Crossover
Beyond the Gates star Clifton Davis is sharing new details about the upcoming crossover event with CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless.
In a recent interview with Soaps.com’s Charlie Mason, Davis reflected on his first year on the soap, his favorite storylines, and what the series has meant to him.
As Parade previously reported, CBS announced earlier this year that six cast members from The Young and the Restless will travel to Fairmont Crest in June as a part of a multi-episode crossover event.
With filming recently completed, Davis told Soaps.com that fans will see the long history between Vernon Dupree and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) play out on screen.
“He supported Vernon early on in his political career, and Vernon, not trying to satisfy any quid pro quo, has helped Victor over the years,” Davis said. “In our scenes, you’ll see that. Victor’s colorful. The two of them never want to get into competition or fight, because both of them are deadly. “
According to CBS, longtime friends Vernon and Victor will reunite at the fundraiser. Over the years, Victor has supported Vernon’s political campaigns, while Vernon has championed legislation benefiting Newman Enterprises. This time, Vernon asks Victor to serve as the keynote speaker for a fundraiser benefiting his grandson Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).
CBS also teased that shocking events will abruptly derail the fundraiser, setting off dramatic consequences that ripple through every guest in attendance.
Previous crossover moments have connected Beyond the Gates with other CBS properties. Bryton James appeared as his The Young and the Restless character Devon Winters during a visit with Anita (Tamara Tunie), while The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) offered Dani Dupree Richardson (Karla Mosley) a job opportunity. In its most recent crossover storyline, Anita shared news of her cancer diagnosis during an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.
Beyond the Gates airs weekdays on CBS and streams weeknights on Paramount Plus. The series can be streamed from the beginning on Paramount Plus or on Pluto TV’s dedicated 24/7 Beyond the Gates FAST channel.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS and streams weeknights on Paramount Plus.

‘70s TV Star Nearly Left the Show That Made Him an Icon: ‘Get Someone Else To Do It’
All In The Familyis one of television’s most influential and controversial sitcoms in history—and one of its most successful, thanks, in part, to Carroll O’Connor’s portrayal of Archie Bunker. Yet, in the middle of the show’s run, the show’s lead actor almost abandoned the series, leaving someone else to fill Archie’s chair.
First airing in 1971, Norman Lear’s All In The Family depicted Archie Bunker as a narrow-minded, prejudiced, blue-collar brute who often clashed with his more progressive-minded, aka "meathead" son-in-law (depicted by Rob Reiner). The show tackled socio-political issues of the day in a way that resonated with audiences: it became No. 1 in the Nielsen ratings in its second season, a position it would hold for 4 more years.
But by 1974, something was off for O’Connor. “I cannot at this moment plan to go on with All in the Family,” he told the Baltimore Evening Sun, per MeTV. "I've been asking the producers for two years for some administrative changes, and they aren't forthcoming.”
“I've got about 92 per cent of what I wanted from the show, but time is running out,” he added. “They can get someone else to do Archie."

He wasn’t kidding. In Season 5’s “Where’s Archie?”, Edith (Jean Stapleton) worries about her husband after he goes missing on his way to a convention in Buffalo. In truth, O’Connor walked off the show in July 1974, staging a mini strike.
O’Connor told his friends he was “doubtful” that he would return to the show, saying, “There are a lot of things wrong,” according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. At this time, O’Connor also sued Lear’s production company for $64,000 in back pay and other contract demands, per Entertainment Weekly.
When this happened, Lear reportedly obtained a court order barring O’Connor from taking any other acting roles until the issue was settled. Lear also supposedly told the press that if O’Connor is gone for more than three episodes, he’ll write Archie out of the show. James Cromwell’s Stretch Cunningham would eventually move in to take over Achie’s spot in the family, per Mental Floss.
O’Connor is gone for both “Where’s Archie?” and “Archie’s Missing,” but he’s back for “The Longest Kiss.” Archie walks in and, in one line, explains that he was having so much fun at the convention that he forgot to call home.
Coincidentally, Cromwell told the New York Postin 2007 that O’Connor wanted Stretch Cunningham to be written out of the show because his character was “getting too many laughs.” Stretch would die in a car accident two seasons later.
Carroll O’Connor would go on to portray Archie Bunker for four more seasons of All In The Family, and four more in the spin-off series, Archie Bunker’s Place. It was actually O’Connor who kept the show going into its ninth and final season.
“The only one who didn’t [want to stop] was Carroll, and he was the most difficult,” said Lear in 2016, per The Hollywood Reporter. “It was very difficult dealing with him as Archie Bunker. I worshipped the ground he walked on; there couldn’t be another Archie Bunker in the history of the world. He inhabited it like no one else could. Having said that, it was very difficult.”
After Archie Bunker’s Place wrapped up in 1983, O’Connor continued his legendary career as William “Bill” Gillespie on the drama In the Heat of the Night. O’Connor died on June 21, 2001, at age 76.

Bianca Jagger, 80, Is Getting More Glamorous With Age in Head-To-Toe Cream Look
Bianca Jagger is a vision in cream.
The glamorous ’70s fashion icon and human rights activist, 80, who married Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger in 1971, has always known how to command a room with her stunning style and dramatic good looks. One of Jagger's most legendary looks is the white Yves Saint Laurent tailored two-piece she wore for her wedding to Mick in Saint-Tropez, sending the fashion industry into a flurry over the untraditional pick. 55 years later, Jagger still knows that she can stun in lighter shades. The beauty attended a private viewing of "Tracey Emin: A Second Life" at the Tate Modern this week in London, England, and put a new spin on her trademark color scheme. With her dark hair and bold pink lips providing a sharp contrast, Jagger's head-to-toe cream outfit, which was completed with strands of pearls, was the epitome of personal style.

Jagger's Legendary Style is Still in DemandIn 2024, Jagger took on the role of the star of YSL Beauty’s Libre Flowers and Flames fragrance. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the stunner opened up about why she often chooses to wear suits on the red carpet.
“I wear a lot of men’s suits and trousers, which make me feel empowered. So when Yves Saint Laurent came out with women’s suits, they became so prevalent in his collection, and it felt right to wear suits. It was my sense of fashion,” she told the publication. “Before then, I had never been a great believer in fashion styles, and Saint Laurent taught us–well, me– the difference between fashion and style.”
But if there’s one element of beauty she’s managed to hold on to after all these years, it’s that incredible, bold red lip.
“When I was very young, I hardly wore any makeup and had very long hair. Now, when I go out, I wear more makeup and I have short hair, but to tell you the truth, I don’t wear any makeup most of the time. I don’t make great efforts with my hair. I work at home and mostly wear leggings and clothes that are very practical, especially after the pandemic,” she explained. “I never liked tight clothing. But I love red lipstick for a night out."

Aldi Shoppers Can't Stop Raving About These Girl Scout Cookie Copycats
Cookie season always sparks a little friendly debate. Some shoppers wait all year for their favorite Girl Scout cookies, while others start scouting for alternatives the second prices inch up. With many boxes now ringing in at $6 or even $7, depending on the region, fans are weighing nostalgia against their grocery budget. And according to recent online chatter, Aldi might be quietly winning the taste test.
Across social media, shoppers say they've found year-round dupes that taste shockingly close to classic Girl Scout cookies. Some are even doing side-by-side comparisons and reporting back with bold claims. The consensus? Aldi's versions are not just good for the price—they're genuinely delicious.
The Aldi Cookies Everyone Is Talking AboutAldi's Benton's brand carries several familiar flavors that mirror beloved Girl Scout cookies. Think Caramel Coconut Fudge as a stand-in for Samoas, Peanut Butter Fudge as a Tagalongs dupe, Peanut Butter Crème similar to Do-si-dos and Fudge Mint that fans compare to Thin Mints.
One shopper who compared Samoas directly to Aldi's Caramel Coconut Fudge cookies wrote that they taste nearly identical, adding jokingly that Girl Scout cookies need to up their game. Others chimed in, saying they'd happily donate to the Girl Scouts to support the cause but buy their cookies at Aldi instead.
The Peanut Butter Fudge cookies seem to have an especially devoted following. Some commenters even argue they're better than the original Girl Scout cookies version. One fan shared that they stash the peanut butter patties in the freezer because they're dangerously good, which is exactly how many people enjoy Thin Mints, too.
With Girl Scout cookie season typically running from January through April, Aldi shoppers love that these dupes are available year-round. No waiting for booth sales. No tracking down a coworker's kid. Just a quick trip to Aldi.

Why Shoppers Are Making the Switch TIL The song the mom listens to in "Monster's University" was the song "Island" by Mastadon, who were approached by Disney for their inclusion in the movie.by u/waiting_for_rain in todayilearned
Price is a big factor. With many councils raising Girl Scout cookie prices to $7 per box for the 2025-2026 season, especially in higher-cost areas, families are feeling the pinch. While many people are happy to support troop activities, inflation and grocery bills are top of mind.
That's where Aldi shines. Benton's cookies often cost about half the price of Girl Scout cookies, making them an easy add-to-cart treat. For budget-conscious shoppers who still want that chocolate-mint crunch or caramel-coconut chew, it feels like a win.
Of course, buying Girl Scout cookies directly supports local troops, leadership programs and community initiatives, which matters to many families. But when it comes to taste alone, plenty of Aldi shoppers say these copycats hold their own.
Whether you're loyal to Girl Scout cookies or tempted by a dupe, one thing's clear: Aldi has entered the chat—and cookie lovers are very interested.

Firing Melissa Barrera Cost 'Scream 7' A Hefty Sum
"Scream 7" is about to hit theaters, but there isn't as much excitement for this installment. From firing Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega quitting, an AI controversy and a gambling app controversy, this film has done everything it can to make it less and less appealing.
It doesn't help that the trailer for the film is terrible and makes it look like they took it in the most generic route. Luckily for Paramount Pictures, it sounds like the film will be a hit at the box office.
That's good news for them, as this whole production has cost a lot of money. According to Variety, firing Barrera led to Spyglass having to pay $500,000 to do a complete rewrite.
Not only that, but the studio had to pay Neve Campbell a $7 million salary to get her on board to star. That's not to mention Courtney Cox getting $2 million. In the end, it sounds like firing Barrera may have cost nearly $10 million in the long run.
Now, that might not matter. Variety reported that "Scream 7" is expected to make between $45 million and $50 million during its opening weekend. That should put it in line to be very profitable for the studio.
Reviews have not come out yet, but Kevin Williamson is stepping into the director's chair after writing the first film. It doesn't look like he plans to do anything inventive with the story based on the trailers, but perhaps there are some big surprises in store.

The 'Unacceptable' Mistake People Make When Cooking SPAM, According to a Chef
Few foods spark as many strong feelings as SPAM does. For some, the salty, savory canned meat product is a symbol of overly processed food that’s best left in the past. But for many across the world, spanning from Hawaii to East Asia and the Pacific, it's a quintessential comfort food, woven into everyday life.
SPAM, which is made by Hormel Foods, has been around since 1937, and first earned its worldwide fame during World War II. Getting fresh meat to the frontlines for U.S. soldiers was tough, and that's when the shelf-stable protein saved the day. According to Hormel, since then, more than eight billion cans have been sold in more than 44 countries.
In the past few years, SPAM has been enjoying a comeback as food culture embraces modern twists on retro products. Not only has it been trending on TikTok, but it has also made its way onto restaurant menus, including Syko in Brooklyn, Kora in Queens, Mari Mari and Manong in Philadelphia and Kine Musubi in Manhattan, which specialize in SPAM musubi, a popular Hawaiian snack.
SPAM has a way of sticking around, especially during economic downturns. The rising costs of groceries have made this pantry staple all the more appealing, and home cooks have been experimenting with it in various recipes.
However, its staying power is more than about affordability. The love for SPAM crosses generations and cultures, keeping it relevant for many cooks and eaters. To find out everything you need to know, from the history and cultural context to how to cook SPAM at home, Parade spoke to Kiki Aranita, a Hawaiian-raised chef and food writer and the owner of Poi Dog Sauces.

SPAM is a fully cooked luncheon meat that's packaged in a can, according to the USDA. People believe SPAM to be an abbreviation, but nobody has agreed on exactly what it stands for. The most common explanation is that the letters “SP” come from “spiced” and the “AM” comes from ham. Even the official SPAM website can't explain the name. If you dig into the FAQs, you'll find this: "The real answer is known by only a small circle of former Hormel Foods executives. And probably Nostradamus."
What we can confirm is that the canned meat is produced by Hormel Foods, and contains six ingredients: pork with ham, salt, water, potato starch, sugar and sodium nitrite. It has a lightly spiced, very savory pork flavor and a ham or bologna-like texture.
Related: This One Ingredient Makes a Ham and Cheese Sandwich 10x Better
When it comes to preparation, Aranita has a nonnegotiable step. “You MUST sear it,” she says emphatically. Searing SPAM creates a crispy exterior and renders some of its fat, which adds some contrast to its pâté-like texture. The great thing about SPAM is that making it isn't complicated.
While marinades aren’t essential, one of the ways Aranita likes to prepare it is to marinate it in shoyu (soy sauce) and sugar first, along with ginger and garlic. As the owner of
Poi Dog Sauces, she also makes two sauces—huli and guava katsu—that she says are both delicious with SPAM.
To cook SPAM, all you have to do is slice it thinly and sear it in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat until it's golden brown. Cooking it this way will temper the saltiness and add a nice textural contrast between the crispy exterior and the tender interior.

I whipped up some SPAM based on Aranita's advice, and it was savory and salty and had a nice textural balance. The caramelized flavor that searing created was a delicious counterpoint to the saltiness. Plus, the method couldn't be easier.

The Best Ways To Eat SPAM, According to a ChefSPAM can be used in a variety of different ways in all cuisines, from fried rice to katsu sandwiches to tacos. But, Aranita likes to stick to the classics when it comes to SPAM. As a Hawaiian, she adores the iconic SPAM musubi.
“It’s more complex to make in a restaurant setting, but when I’m at home and just making one for myself, I simply take a sheet of nori, put a few tablespoons of short grain white rice on it and top it with a perfectly seared SPAM slice before wrapping it like a burrito,” she explains.
Another dish she loves to make is SPAM, eggs, rice and macaroni salad. It's quick to prepare, especially if you buy store-bought macaroni salad, although she does have a great recipe of her own. SPAM is sliced into nine perfect slices (more on that below) and seared, the eggs are scrambled and the rice is made. Then, she arranges two SPAM slices per portion on a plate along with the eggs, rice and macaroni salad before garnishing with furikake.

Tips and Tricks for Cooking With SPAMPrecision is one of Aranita’s most important tips for cooking with SPAM. “It must be sliced into nine slices per can,” she says, “Anything but nine slices is unacceptable.” Why does she insist on such a specific number? That number of slices will create the perfect crust-to-meat ratio, she says.
If you eat a lot of SPAM or are a gadget enthusiast, you can buy a SPAM slicer specifically for this task, or you can cut the canned meat with a knife. For the perfect nine-slice thickness, you'll want to aim for 1/4-inch pieces.
Some cooks recommend soaking SPAM in water or poaching it to reduce the salt content, but Aranita doesn't find that necessary. “I think people are overthinking SPAM. Reduced-sodium versions are available on the market that will do the trick,” she shares.
Related: The Truth About Which Deli Meats Are Processed—and if Any of Them Are Good for You
What Is SPAM's Connection to Hawaii?“SPAM is a Hawaii pantry staple, brought to the islands by American GIs,” Aranita tells Parade. By the end of World War II, the canned meat worked its way into the local food culture. Today, you'll find it in local home cooking, on restaurant menus and in convenience stores and gas stations.
SPAM has also conquered other shores throughout East Asia and the Pacific. “People love it because it is delicious when prepared properly, evokes nostalgia and is ubiquitous in places where I come from, Hawaii and Hong Kong,” Aranita explains.
Related: Pack Your Bags—Top 10 Things to Do in Hawaii's Green Island, Kaua’i
What Do People Misunderstand About SPAM?“SPAM’s reputation depends heavily on geography and on who the people are,” Aranita shares. “It’s deeply loved in both my home islands of Hong Kong and Hawaii.” That perspective shifted when she moved to the mainland United States. “It was only when I came to the mainland that I realized it had a bad rap,” she says. The reason, in Aranita's view, is simple: “People are eating it wrong.”
“America also has a negative relationship with canned meat in general,” she says. But with the rise of tinned fish and SPAM as of late, she thinks that people are more open to these products.

Driver Who Killed The Chicks' Laura Lynch Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
The driver who fatally struck Laura Lynch, founding member of the band formerly known as The Dixie Chicks, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
In Dec. 2023, Lynch was in a fatal car accident in Hudspeth County, Texas just four days before Christmas. At the time of the crash, Dominic Chavez had attempted to pass four vehicles on a two-way highway when he collided with Lynch's car.
According to the El Paso District Attorney's Office, Chavez was driving between 106 and 114 miles per hour. Lynch was trapped in her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. As a part of his plea agreement, Chavez admitted to driving recklessly prior to the collision. While it was determined alcohol was not a factor in the crash, Chavez's license had been suspended following previous DWIs.
"The death of Ms. Lynch caused profound sadness for her family, the Dell City community, and all those who appreciated her music. It is a loss made more acute by the fact that it happened just days before Christmas," El Paso County District Attorney James Montoya said. "Our office will continue to hold accountable those defendants who choose to drive in an extremely dangerous manner."
Lynch founded The Dixie Chicks, now known as just The Chicks, in 1989 alongside Robin Lynn Macy and sisters Martie Erwin Maguire and Emily Erwin Strayer.

Then claimed he was in Austin alone and happened to hook up with his ex. This was in September, which Ashley noted wasn't long before the show.
"I can pull up my Airbnb if you would like, and we can go through it together," Alex told her out of frustration. That didn't happen, but he posted his list of Airbnb's on his Instagram Story on February 25. He circled one Austin booking for June 27 to August 22, 2021, and another for December 26, 2021 to February 20, 2022.
Ashley asked Alex's mom about his past relationships in episode 9. The mother said his last serious relationship was a woman in Chicago. Ashley revealed he told her about a travel nurse, who is a different person. The claims manager admitted she couldn't keep track of Alex's dating and travel timelines.
The couple talked alone after his mom visited in episode 9. Alex said the relationship with the travel nurse lasted over four months, and they almost went to Australia together. Ashley said he previously claimed that the relationship wasn't serious. He said the relationship ended because she didn't want to travel nurse at that time, but they're still friends.
Ashley also noticed his timelines of seeing two women overlapped in that month. Alex clarified that after his relationship with one girl ended, he reconnected with the girl from Austin days later.
Ashley continued to try on wedding dresses with the rest of the cast. Episode 12, showing the altar decisions, will be released on Netflix on Wednesday, March 4.

Alysa Liu’s Flight Home Turned Into an Unexpected Gold Medal Celebration
When Alysa Liu boarded her flight back to San Francisco, she likely expected a quiet ride home after the whirlwind of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Instead, she got a surprise celebration when touching down in the Bay Area.
In a viral TikTok, flight attendants prepared the jet bridge with streamers and balloons before making a special announcement over the intercom.
“Ladies and gentlemen, today we welcome home a new champion. After representing us with courage, dedication and excellence, please join me in celebrating our gold medalist Alysa Liu, who brought home the gold from the olympic games... welcome home champion,” the Delta employee said. The video then cuts to Liu stepping off the plane, smiling and softly saying thank you as crew members congratulated her.

She became the first American woman to win Olympic figure skating gold in 24 years, and just the eighth in history.

What makes the moment even sweeter is how unlikely it once seemed. After placing sixth at the 2022 Winter Olympics, Liu retired at 16, citing burnout. During her time away, she rediscovered her independence and joy, eventually returning with strict boundaries: creative control over her music, input in choreography, and autonomy over her training schedule. Even her father, who once heavily guided her career, stepped back at her request.
That shift transformed her skating for the better. Many fans resonated with the athlete’s alternative style, as well as her moves on the ice.
“I’ve never seen someone skate with so much freedom,” one TikTok user claimed.
Another shared, “I love that she actually dances it too. Like she doesn’t just pose do tricks.”
A third noted, “She didn’t just skate she DANCED ! Her energy and passion is so infectioussss.”
While it’s uncertain what comes next for the decorated Olympian, one thing is clear: her comeback was more about joy and proving she could do it her way.
'90s Band's No. 1 Hit Made History 30 Years Ago With a 16-Week Run on the Charts
Thirty years ago today, R&B boy band Boyz II Men was in the middle of breaking an all-time Billboard charts record as their No. 1 hit with Mariah Carey, "One Sweet Day," remained in the top spot for a lengthy period of time.
The emotional ballad—which was released on Nov. 14, 1995, as the second single from the pop songstress' album Daydream, and told the tale of grieving lost loved ones—debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed put for 16 weeks, from Dec. 2, 1995, to March 16, 1996, making history at the time as the longest-running Hot 100 No. 1 ever. In total, "One Sweet Day" spent 27 weeks on the Billboard chart.
According to the famed music publication, "the song’s success was hardly surprising, given Carey and Boyz II Men’s track records in the ’90s. It became Carey’s 10th No. 1 (of 18 total) and Boyz II Men’s fourth (of five)."
The 16-week record stood untouched for nearly 25 years until broken by Luis Fonsi's reggaeton smash hit "Despacito" in 2017.

Other longest-leading Billboard Hot 100 chart toppers include Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus (2019) and Shaboozey’s 2024-released “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” each notching 19 weeks, Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” at 14 weeks, and Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road” with 13 weeks. "(Songs began logging longer No. 1 stays after the Hot 100 adopted electronically tracked data, according to Luminate, in late 1991)," per Billboard.
In January 2026, Carey's holiday hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was announced the newly-anointed record-holder with 22 weeks in total.

‘Bridgerton’ Star Reveals Why She Broke Out in Hives After Filming Steamy Scene
Bridgerton star Yerin Ha says that a steamy scene caused her to break out in hives.
E! News reported that Ha and Luke Thompson, who play the show's current main love interests, Sophie Baek and Benedict Bridgerton, shared some behind-the-scenes tidbits in a February 2025 interview on Capital Breakfast. During the interview, Ha revealed she got folliculitis, a skin condition, because she filmed for six hours in a bathtub alongside Thompson for an upcoming scene in the second part of season 4.
"There's a scene where we are in a bathtub, and basically I put baby powder on me because I was told that it will help dry my skin to put the intimacy-wear on with the tape," said Ha in the interview. "And then basically the next day after the bathtub, I got hives all over my body and I got folliculitis. So, I needed steroid cream, but I blame myself because I think it was a combination of baby powder and the bath water."
She also noted that Thompson's skin was "fine" after shooting the scene.
"So, it's me. I'm a sensitive gal," quipped Ha.
In the Capital Breakfast interview, Ha and Thompson shared their thoughts about their family members watching their characters' intimate scenes. Thompson said that he would prefer to not watch said scenes with his loved ones. Ha also said that she has informed her family exactly when Sophie's intimate moments will appear on screen, presumably so they could skip scenes.
"I've just given them the timestamps and I was like, 'Do what you will,'" said Ha.
Yerin Ha Discussed Her Experience Joining the 'Bridgerton' CastHa joined the Bridgerton cast as Sophie, a bright and beautiful maid, during the show's fourth season. The first four episodes of Bridgerton season 4 premiered on January 29. The rest of the season will be available to watch on Netflix starting on February 28.
In a February 25 interview with Extra TV, alongside Thompson, Ha opened up about her experience joining the show's cast. She said that her co-stars welcomed her with open arms, allowing her to feel comfortable on set. She shared that Claudia Jessie, who has played Benedict's sister Eloise Bridgerton since the show's first season, made her "a little gift bag" to welcome her on the romantic historical drama.
"They genuinely went out of their way to make sure that I was welcome. So yeah, it made me just focus on the work," said Ha to Extra TV.
Travis Kelce Doesn't Hold Back on Epic Moment With Taylor Swift
Though Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have stepped away from the public eye over the past few months, the Internet's favorite couple is stronger than ever.
In the latest episode of New Heights, a sports podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, the two talked about Jason Kelce's experience watching the Winter Olympics in Milan, and what went wrong at a beach trip the Kansas City Chiefs tight end took to Pebble Beach recently. In addition, country music legend Chris Stapleton joined the podcast halfway through the episode, where they spoke about the musician's love for football, his songwriting process and even had a whiskey tasting session.

The former NFL player and his wife, Kylie Kelce, watched the final round of hockey live at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena, where the USA men's hockey team won the gold medal by defeating Team Canada 2-1 in overtime. This marked the first U.S. men's hockey gold since 1980.
Travis Kelce also admitted that he and Swift "watched the entire game," but at the comfort of their own home.
"It was so [explicit] epic. From the first drop of the puck, that game was nonstop action and had me at the edge of my seat at 8:05 in the morning," the NFL player said. "Man, I loved every minute of it."
Since the couple's engagement in August 2025, Swift and Kelce have been keeping wedding planning under wraps. Sources have been reporting over the past couple of months that the two are planning to tie the knot sometime this year, some speculating on June 13, because 13 is the "Paper Rings" singer's lucky number, and it's the only 13th that falls on a Saturday this year.
It was also reported by CT Insiderthat the wedding would possibly take place at Ocean House in Rhode Island, and it was rumored that the couple paid off another couple that booked the venue for that date.
