The 3 Birth Dates Aren't Meant for an Ordinary Life

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 1:16pm

There is something appealing about being content with an ordinary life. Following a typical sequence of events—going to college, getting married, having children, and working a 9-to-5 job—can be fulfilling for many. However, this standard social expectation does not suit everyone. While some individuals thrive in this lifestyle, what about those who feel out of place or left behind? According to expert numerologists and astrologers, four specific birth dates are often associated with individuals who are not meant for an ordinary life. The planetary energies and numerological meanings associated with these dates suggest that these individuals are naturally aligned with unique, one-of-a-kind personalities or life paths.

Which Birth Dates Were Never Made for an Ordinary Life?

Check for your birth date. Disregard birth months.

Born on the 4th

People born on the 4th couldn’t fit into a basic mold if they tried. These dreamers are meant to shake up the status quo. While they have a serious, strategic side that allows them to build lasting foundations, their personalities and philosophies transcend the mundane. In numerology, 4 is associated with consistency and effort, and with Uranus, the planet of unique energy and unconventional efforts. If you don’t know how to be “normal”, this is your permission slip to invent your own sense of personal fulfillment. The more you lean into what makes you different, the more opportunities come your way.

Born on the 9th

Colored passionate by the warrior planet Mars, people born on the 9th are leaders. They don’t do well with taking commands from those in charge. Authority rarely sits well with them from a young age. In their mind, everyone should have the right to honor their individual instincts and calling. Numerologists associate 9 with cycle breakers and humanitarian justice-seekers. These people aren’t meant to silence themselves. Through bold self-expression, self-advocacy, and looking out for life's underdogs, they make the greatest difference. However, they must first let go of the need to shrink themselves to fit in or gain social approval. Pioneering sets them free.

RELATE?: Your Past Life, According to Birth Date

Born on the 10th

The Sun, our very lifeforce, represents conscious will, meaningful expression. Those born on the 10th carry this solar power. You’re radiant. Sometimes, this can intimidate others, even with your friendly disposition and playful banter. Your life path requires bold action, fierce confidence, and relentless passion. You can’t hold back from your calling if you try. Whether you have natural talents, creativity, or groundbreaking ideas, living a predictable lifestyle doesn’t align with your need to find true authenticity. Dare to dream bigger. Embody those desires. Blessings will follow, encouraging others to also dare to step into their very own purpose.

'7 Little Johnstons': Derogatory Slur Shouted at Family During Fair Outing (Exclusive Clip)

7 Little Johnstons star Alex Johnston and his girlfriend, Allie Smith, have been dating for several years, and recently, he and his family spent time at a county fair in Ohio with her. Unfortunately, cameras caught a stranger shouting a derogatory slur at the Johnston family during the fair outing.

Ahead of the Tuesday, March 31 episode of 7LJ,TLC shared an exclusive sneak peek of the tense moment with Parade.

"Hey, look at the m----ts, y'all!" an underage boy shouted at the beginning of the clip as Amber Johnston, her daughter, Emma Johnston, Alex, Allie, and Allie's family members walked by carnival games, rides, and food booths.

In a confessional with producers, Alex admitted, "Going to the fair, I kind of expected people to stare at us, to take pictures of us, like, whisper about us. That's just to be expected whenever we go to a big outing like that. So it's just what I expected."

As footage of the Johnstons playing games and enjoying fair food played, shots of fair-goers staring and recording them on their phones were also featured.

Amber and Trent's son, Jonah Johnston, also reflected on what it's like for their family to attend festivals and theme parks.

"People at the fair are going to stop. They're going to absorb for 5 seconds. If they have the courage, they'll come up and ask your name, things like that. Or, you get the pictures. It's something we've had to deal with since we were little kids."

In old 7LJ footage, a much younger Liz Johnston confessed, "Yeah, it hurts our feelings really bad," of people staring and making rude comments to her family in public. "Why are they looking at us? What's wrong with me?"

Present-day Trent then pointed out, "We should be able to enjoy an amusement park or a carnival and great carnival food just like everyone else, but we can't."

Amber added to producers, "And that's where you go back to we're not looked at as humans. We're not. We're looked at objectively."

"It's ignorance," Trent insisted. "They don't have the understanding and realize how rude and disrespectful they're being."

Nancy Guthrie Update: Suspects Should Get ‘Death Penalty,' Nancy Grace Says

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 1:11pm

As the search for Nancy Guthrie enters its ninth week, Nancy Grace is making her stance clear. In a passionate response to the case, the legal analyst spoke out about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance, offering her candid opinion on how those responsible should be punished if they are found.

In exclusive clips sent to Parade from Nancy Grace's interview on the Hang Out with Sean Hannity podcast, Grace quotes Savannah Guthrie's recent interview with Today and says that she hopes that those responsible receive the death penalty.

"Poor little Miss Guthrie could hardly walk to the mailbox. On a good day, she could walk to her mailbox, and some a-hole got her out of her bed in her little PJs, barefoot, and took her out of that house. She said, 'My little bitty mother,' which to me means she was bent over and frail," Grace said.

Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Authorities believe that she was abducted from her home in the middle of the night. Investigators are working diligently to find out who is responsible and to locate Guthrie, but no suspects have been named and Guthrie's whereabouts are still unknown.

"I want them to get the death penalty. That is what I want. ... For what they have done to Miss Guthrie, there’s no other choice. I’m still holding out a thin hope that somewhere, somehow, she could be alive. But by God, if she’s not, the hounds of hell will chase those kidnappers until they are caught," Grace added.

Arizona is one of 27 states that authorize the death penalty.

You can watch Grace's full interview on FOX News Media's Hang Out with Sean Hannitypodcast tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31.

Former HGTV Star Shares Her Top Tip for a Patio Refresh, and It's So Smart

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 1:05pm

You can spend all the time and money in the world creating a gorgeous patio—beautiful furniture, chic planters, the whole thing—and still end up feeling like something's off. Like it’s almost there, but not quite giving that pulled-together, magazine-worthy vibe you were really hoping to accomplish. That's because the magic usually lives in the finishing touches. It's the layering and little details that make for a more deliberate, cohesive space.

That's where a pro really comes in handy. Someone like those effortlessly creative HGTV stars who can walk into a space and somehow know exactly what it needs. Maybe it's better lighting, a cozier layout, or just the right mix of textures to make everything feel balanced and inviting.

SIGN UP for the Dengarden / Parade Home & Garden newsletter for a weekly dose of our favorite house hacks, decor trends and shopping deals

The good news is that Emily Henderson recently took to her Instagram to deliver the easiest, smartest tips for making your patio look like it just jumped off the pages of an outdoor furniture catalog.

How to Create a Photo-Ready Patio View this post on Instagram

While Henderson is typically a mix-and-match kind of gal when it comes to furniture, she says that for patios, she prefers one matching set to make the space look truly pulled together.

Another piece of advice Henderson shares that is so smart—purchasing stackable outdoor dining chairs. This is super convenient for when you want to store them away if inclement weather is coming in, and it's a real space-saver for your garage or shed.

Bring Intentional Greenery Onto Your Patio

Here's the tip Henderson mentions that absolutely blew my mind, but makes so much sense: bringing in trees or shrubs.

For some reason, this just never dawned on me. It's probably because a patio is outdoors, so there's already greenery out there, right? But when Henderson places some oversized plants around the patio she's styling in her post, you can visually see how it brings everything together, despite being surrounded by a lush landscape.

"A patio space will feel cold and unfinished without trees or tall shrubs," she says.

And she's absolutely right. Henderson uses large planters to pot this greenery in spaces where you can't grow it. It really does make such a difference in the final look.

If you're dining al fresco, she also recommends placing lanterns on your table so that you can see your company (and what you're eating) well into the evening.

Basically, this is your sign to head to your nearest garden center and grab some large planters and shrubs so you can finally finish off that patio refresh.

Renoir, Matisse and Cézanne Paintings Worth Over $10 Million Stolen From Italian Museum in 3-Minute Heist

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 1:02pm

In the stillness of an early spring night near Parma, Italy, a stunning robbery unfolded that now has art detectives and travelers alike on alert. On the night of March 22–23, 2026, three priceless paintings by French masters Pierre‑Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, and Henri Matisse were stolen from the Magnani Rocca Foundation, a private museum nestled in the countryside. The thieves entered a first‑floor gallery, seized Les Poissons by Renoir, Still Life with Cherries by Cézanne, and Odalisque on the Terrace by Matisse, and escaped in less than three minutes before authorities could respond.

The estimated combined value of the stolen masterpieces is around €9 million (about $10.3 million), with Renoir’s Les Poissons alone valued at roughly €6 million, per People. The Italian Carabinieri and the Bologna Cultural Heritage Protection Unit are now combing through surveillance footage and pursuing leads in what may have been a planned, organized operation.

“The operation was extremely rapid and planned,” the Magnani Rocca Foundation said in a statement, noting that the thieves seemed to act in a “structured and organized” way and that the theft was cut short by the alarm system and quick response by security and police.

For travelers who picture European museums as serene retreats from the bustle of travel, this incident reads like a real‑world heist thriller. It also highlights that even lesser‑known cultural sites can play host to dramatic stories, and reminders of how precious art is protected, or sometimes, how quickly it can be lost.

Explore the latest travel stories and updates by subscribing to our newsletter.

The Magnani Rocca Foundation: A Must‑See Hidden Treasure

Despite the theft, the Magnani Rocca Foundation remains a destination worth visiting for art lovers and curious travelers alike. Founded in 1977 by Italian collector and critic Luigi Magnani, the museum occupies the historic Villa Magnani, often known as the "Villa dei Capolavori" (Villa of Masterpieces), surrounded by quiet gardens near Parma.

Opened to the public in 1990, the foundation’s collection spans centuries and styles, including Renaissance and Baroque works alongside Impressionist and modern pieces. In addition to the recently stolen paintings, visitors can admire works by Albrecht Dürer, Titian, Rubens, Van Dyck, Francisco Goya, Claude Monet, and Giorgio Morandi. Wandering the villa’s galleries, you’ll find fine details that often elude busier museums making it a rich, personal experience for those who slow down to enjoy it.

Related: This Museum Was Designed By I.M. Pei of the Louvre—And It's in the Midwest

I’ve always found that smaller institutions like this offer a kind of art‑travel intimacy you can’t replicate in a big city museum crowd. Whether you love Impressionism, earlier European masters, or just discovering places off the usual travel track, Villa Magnani is worth carving out time for on any visit to northern Italy.

What Travelers Should Know Before You Go

If you’re planning a trip to Parma, a city already famed for prosciutto, Parmigiano‑Reggiano, and Romanesque architecture, the Magnani Rocca Foundation is a perfect cultural stop either as a day trip or a leisurely part of a longer Italy itinerary.

Here’s what travelers should keep in mind:

  • The museum is still open to visitors. While the theft has understandably raised security concerns, the foundation’s doors remain open and its larger collection intact, welcoming those who seek art in a calm, uncrowded setting.
  • Exhibits change regularly. In addition to permanent works, the foundation hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year, adding fresh reasons to visit even if you’ve been before.
  • Plan for regional charm. Magnani Rocca’s rural location invites visitors to pair a museum visit with explorations of Parma’s rolling countryside, local vineyards, and food producer tours, culinary experiences that art lovers will relish as much as brushstrokes on canvas.

For anyone drawn to treasures tucked away from the crowds, or intrigued by art’s place in the fabric of lived history, this villa and its collections offer exactly that. And while the dramatic story of the heist might first catch your eye, it’s the art and setting that linger in your memory long after you’ve left.

'Paradise' Writer Teases 'Satisfying' Final Season: 'We're Answering Everything' (Exclusive)

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 1:00pm

There won't be another day in Paradise after Season 3. The third season of the Hulu original series, starring Sterling K. Brown, will be its last and, according to writer and executive producer John Hoberg, "very satisfying."

"I think it's really good. We're very excited," Hoberg exclusively told Parade, also revealing that "hopefully [Season 3] will have moments of grace and beauty, but I think it'll feel right."

🎬SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

The thriller, created by This Is Us' Dan Fogelman, debuted in January 2025 and returned for its second season in February 2026. From a storytelling perspective, Hoberg believes ending the series with Season 3 feels "like the right thing to do."

"What's satisfying about this ending in 3 is what's satisfying about writing a movie. You get to take someone all the way to the completion of what their arc is," he said. "And so that's great. It's satisfying."

Season 3 will be the final season of Hulu's 'Paradise'

Disney/Ser Baffo

Season 3, the writer confirmed, will feature just as many twists and turns as previous seasons. It will also deliver answers to all — yes, all — of the show's lingering questions.

"And if we don't answer any, people can ask me on Instagram," Hoberg laughed. "Because that means I lied accidentally. But no, we're answering everything. We want people to know."

The week before the Season 2 finale dropped, Hoberg was diving into writing Season 3's seventh episode. The series finale is set to be written by creator Fogelman. "It's so funny because we've broken up all eight of Season 3, and so it almost feels like, 'Oh, that's right, people don't know what's coming,'" Hoberg teased.

While Season 2 explored Jane Driscoll's origin story, Hoberg revealed that Season 3 will delve into Nicole Robinson's backstory. "I love her character. I felt like there was something really cool in Episodes 7 and 8 [of Season 2], like when she's down in that prison and just has this attitude of f—ck it all," Hoberg said.

He continued, "She had been in the Secret Service, but the service of others for so long. And there was such a ba-ss quality to her when she's walking around, gleefully knocking the nozzles off of the gas containers. You can see an element of 'You know, what? I'm tired of playing by other people's rules,' and that excites me for next season,.

Like Season 2, which welcomed Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty to the cast, fans can expect to see some big names joining the final season of Paradise. "We're just kind of getting into some of that. But yeah, I would really expect that," Hoberg shared.

Julianne Nicholson's character died in the Season 2 finale

Disney/Ser Baffo

As for returning characters, Gary the mailman likely won't be among them. "Gary probably started his life again in Atlanta, if I had to guess what happened with him," Hoberg said. "But other than that, I don't want to say because...I feel like people are up for grabs in the next season."

Though Samantha Redmond (Julianne Nicholson) went down with the bunker in the Season 2 finale, Hoberg pointed out that characters who die in a Fogelman show "are never really dead in a lot of ways because you have flashbacks and you see them in different times." Such was the case for James Marsden's character, President Cal Bradford, who was killed in Season 1 and returned in Season 2 through flashbacks.

Link and his team were dubbed the "Cancer Cowboys" by the show's writers

Disney/Ser Baffo

Paradise Season 3, currently in pre-production, will begin shooting in April, Hoberg revealed. The third season will pick up where Season 2 left off, with Xavier tasked with the mission of finding Alex, the quantum computer, following the destruction of the bunker. "Xavier has the information we have, and [in] Season 3, he's going to have to figure out what to do, if anything, and what that actually means," Hoberg said evasively.

Although Season 3 will bring the hit series to a close, Hoberg thinks Paradise is a show that could one day lead to spinoffs. "I kind of think so," he admitted. "I feel like whether it's a prequel or something, I don't know... I got really into the guys, we called them 'Cancer Cowboys,' and we had this huge backstory for them, and it's Link's crew, and it's what they were doing, going around right after 'The Day' and trying to safely shut down nuclear reactors. Because if they can survive, which you realize Cal gave them that opportunity, if nuclear reactors are blowing up everywhere, it's not going to be a survivable country."

Hoberg made it clear that he has no inside information about any kind of spinoff or prequel. He simply finds the Cancer Cowboys to have an interesting story, describing them as "a collection of people who in the face of this calamity are already thinking about how do we rebuild and how do we restart things."

"To me, they were people who probably went to your town, and if someone was in the way, and that nuclear reactor was going to blow up if people stayed in the way, they weren't against fighting to get to that, to try to save people," Hoberg said. "So I always kind of pictured them almost like knights, old-style knights. But I think I could probably do that with four different areas that I'd be like, 'Oh, that could be a really cool place to go to.'"

Paradise streams on Hulu.

'Euphoria' Season 3 Trailer Reveals Eric Dane's Return in Posthumous Role

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:50pm

Sam Levinson's HBO series Euphoria is coming to an end with Season 3 and shutting the door on the popular drama. The latest full-length trailer for the third season reveals a first look at Eric Dane in his original series role following his death at the age of 53 on Feb. 19.

In 2025, Dane announced he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which rapidly progressed over the year. It was announced in February that the actor died from complications from the illness. While having appeared in Netflix's Famous Last Words as himself following his death, Euphoria will be his second posthumous role.

Tensions run high in the third season, scheduled to release on April 12, as the series returns years later with its original characters. Rue Bennett (Zendaya) appears to run into trouble with the Mexican cartel and is caught by authorities. At the same time, Maddie (Alexa Demie) reunites with Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and could bring drama to Cassie's now-married life with Nate (Jacob Elordi). Meanwhile, Nate has a comfortable life that might get uprooted by enemies of the past, as Jules (Hunter Schafer) also deals with her new life as what appears to be an escort.

Dane appears in the trailer as his original character, Cal Jacobs, Nate's father. Jules enters the scene dressed to impress when she stumbles upon Cal and says, "Remember me?" He answers, "How can I forget?"

We’re getting another look at ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

HBO dropped a second trailer for the series starring Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow and Colman Domingo, returning on April 12 https://t.co/5W3mmXmxhm pic.twitter.com/oOjPCNNxMb

— Deadline (@DEADLINE) March 30, 2026

Euphoria fans would remember the storyline that transpired between the two characters in the prior seasons. As a teen, Jules had met Cal through an online hookup app and met with him at a motel, believing he was someone closer to her age. Despite the shock, the encounter continues and reveals that Cal secretly taped himself with Jules.

Their dynamic led to tension in Euphoria, with Jules shaken by the experience and threatened by Cal to keep quiet. It becomes even more complicated when she learns Cal is Nate's father, with Nate also discovering the hidden tape.

Dane was already confirmed to return to Euphoria after revealing his ASL diagnosis. According to People, he had already filmed his scenes before his death. Fans may notice his short scene in the Season 3 trailer reveals the actor's change in speech due to the illness.

“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week," said Dane at the time.

The actor also commented that his character Cal would return in Season 3 with a "redemption" arc. The rest of the Euphoria cast is scheduled to return for the final season, alongside new characters.

Tyler Perry Gifts Atlanta TSA $1,000 Gift Cards but Workers Were Reportedly Told to Return Them

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:49pm

On March 27, 2026, Tyler Perry visited Hartsfield‑Jackson Atlanta International Airport to publicly support Transportation Security Administration staff who had been working without pay due to the government shutdown. With thousands of federal workers missing paychecks, many TSA officers were struggling to make ends meet. In response, Perry donated $250,000 worth of $1,000 Visa gift cards, reportedly one for about 250 TSA workers, as a way to help offset lost income during the shutdown.

Explore the latest travel stories and updates by subscribing to our newsletter.

The Twist: Federal Gift Rules Force Returns

Shortly after the cards were distributed, federal officials reportedly told many TSA workers they would need to return the $1,000 gift cards. The reason centers on strict federal ethics rules that govern what gifts government employees can accept while on duty. TSA officers, as federal workers, are subject to those regulations, which often limit acceptance of cash or certain monetary equivalents.

It’s a reminder of how the intersecting worlds of public service, law, and charitable gestures can clash even when intentions are good. What looks like a kind gesture on the surface can run afoul of rules designed to prevent conflicts of interest or the appearance of impropriety.

“It went through the legal process through TSA,” Aaron Barker, president of the American Federation of Government Employees Local 554 union in Georgia, told PEOPLE about the gift cards Tyler Perry gave to TSA officers. But the broader point remains that federal employees must navigate a tangle of ethics policies that most civilians never encounter.

What Travelers Should Know (and Why It Matters)

As someone who’s stood in both the long security lines and in front of career professionals doing tough work, here’s where this story hits home for travelers:

  • TSA Workers Are Under Pressure: The partial government shutdown has left many TSA employees working without pay for weeks. That can lead to increased call‑outs and resignations, which in turn lengthens security lines and slows travel for all of us.
  • Small Gestures Still Matter: While $1,000 gift cards are headline material, many smaller, more practical forms of gratitude are appreciated and acceptable. A sincere thank‑you, a polite word during long lines, or even supporting community‑based programs that aid TSA families can go a long way.
  • Know the Rules Before You Give: The Perry gift card situation shines a light on how government ethics rules can surprise even well‑meaning civilians and donors. If you’re inspired to help airport workers directly, it’s worth understanding what’s permissible or working through recognized employee support organizations.

For frequent flyers, this story is a window into how external events, like political impasses, shutdowns, and policy details, can have very real effects on your travel experience.

In the end, Tyler Perry’s effort highlighted something we all intuitively feel at airports: the people behind the badge are the ones who keep travelers moving, day in and day out. It also reminded me that the stories we see on the news often carry real human threads that connect to every journey we take.

Bachelor Nation’s Jason Tartick Shares His Budget-Savvy Tips for Furnishing His New Home

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:45pm

Jason Tartick is making moves—literally. After renting three homes since 2024, the Bachelor Nation star and girlfriendKathryn Hurley bought a home in Nashville. For many new homeowners, furnishing their space can be a mad dash to buy a bunch of stuff to make their space liveable as soon as possible.

However, Tartick is taking a more strategic approach and viewing his new furniture as an investment (A move that’s not too surprising: Tartick had a career in corporate banking before launching his financial-savvy podcast, Trading Secrets).

“Every purchase, especially big purchases, need to be made through somewhat of a financial lens,” he tells Parade. “Things that I talk about on the podcast are what’s the real cost over time and what’s the return on the investments.”

With tax season right around the corner, Tartick says your tax return is a great opportunity to invest in some great furniture. “The majority of Americans look at tax returns as disposable income,” he shares. “I’ve always advocated for people to use disposable income to reinvest either in yourself and your future self, in equities, or in investments.”

Problem is, not everyone considers furniture an investment. Furniture company Lovesac recently surveyed 1,500 Americans and found 65 percent of participants prefer to spend their tax return on investments versus indulgence; however, only 12 percent of participants consider furniture a smart investment.

The problem, Tartick explains, is that many people aren’t thinking strategically about their furniture. “You live in this space every day, and the space becomes part of your culture, energy and who you are,” he shares. “Why would you not invest in it?”

For his home, Tartick is prioritizing pieces that are durable, easy-to-maintain and comfortable, which made Lovesac’s Sactional a no-brainer. Not only does he love the “cloud-like” comfort, but the modular design and removable, machine-washable covers can adapt as his and Hurley’s lives do.

But remember: Tartick is a numbers guy, so value is non-negotiable. Though the brand’s  lifetime warranty of up to 100 years was a draw, he calculated the cost-per-sit to ensure the best bang for his buck.  He factored in the price of a Sactional as well as how much it would cost to buy a new cover every three years for a century. Tartick estimates the average person sits on their sofa six times a day—or 219,000 times over the course of the brand’s 100 years. When he did the math, his sofa would cost 30 cents per sit.

To calculate your own cost-per-sit, simply divide the price of your couch by the amount by the estimated number of times you’ll use it. If your couch doesn’t have a 100-year-warranty, most sofas have a lifespan of at least seven years.

Photo by Clay Banks on Unsplash

Want to adopt Tartick’s savvy spending under your roof? He generally recommends spending 10 percent of your home’s value on furnishings—and knowing where to stretch your budget.

Though Tartick says seating, tables and a bedroom’s window treatments are always worth the investment, he encourages you to find room in your budget for more personalized endeavors (He’s eyeing a temperature-controlled wine cellar for his new home). Conversely, he recommends finding affordable alternatives to “ultra-trendy” pieces and smaller décor

Photo by Clay Banks on Unsplash

Tartick might have the financials down pat, but the design? Now that’s another story. “I think we’re both in the era of classy character and timeless, but we have very different styles,” he admits. “We talked to an interior designer to understand our styles and what the neutral palette is for both of them.” Like most couples, Tatrick and Hurley are creating their respective Pinterest boards to ensure this next chapter is a stylish one.

‘Bridgerton’ Season 5: How Francesca and Michaela Will Get an Opposites Attract Story

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:36pm

Lady Francesca Stirling's story will be at the forefront of Bridgerton Season 5. Hannah Dodd teased her character's journey after mourning in a new video with Masali Baduza, who plays Michaela Stirling. They revealed their romantic trope will be opposites attract, which forces their characters to grow.

Tudum released a video featuring the costars discussing the upcoming episodes. We'll see more of the introvert and the extrovert interacting and growing. Season 4 already showed this when Francesca stayed up late and drank with Michaela, which shocked Lord John Stirling (Victor Alli).

Related: ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5: Will There Be a Time Jump for Francesca and Michaela’s Storyline?

"As much as she is a shyer character and a more introverted character, there is a feeling that she doesn't always need the validation that other people seek," Dodd, 30, said. "But I don't think there's self-assurance there yet."

Michaela is a very self-assured character and frazzled Francesca at the beginning of season 4. However, she can grow in another way.

"I'm excited to explore Michaela's vulnerability," Baduza, 30, told Tudum. "I think I'm excited to see what it's like when she doesn't have to run and she doesn't have to hide and she's forced to, like, stay still."

Michaela isn't married and is free to travel. She was also very close to her cousin, which made her vulnerable at the end of season 4. Francesca and Michaela had different methods of mourning, which caused them to clash.

Production of season 5 has started. There are still other Bridgertons who haven't found love yet. Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), and Gregory (Will Tilston) will eventually get their own seasons after Francesca.

Iconic ’70s Actor With Rare Oscar Feat Turns 89

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:28pm

An actor whose career has spanned decades is celebrating his 89th birthday on March 30. Warren Beatty has accrued accolades not solely as an actor, but as a producer, director, and writer, as well.

In fact, despite having some iconic acting performances, Beatty didn't have roles in as many projects as fans might expect. Despite that, he has earned award nominations in many categories over the years, and he is one of a few to achieve a truly impressive feat.

Beatty received Oscar nominations in four distinctly different categories: best actor, best director, writing, and producing best picture.

Not only did Beatty achieve that once, for Heaven Can Wait, but he also did it a second time, for Reds. It's rare for anybody to be nominated in all four major categories in their lifetime, and even more rare for it to happen with one single project.

In addition, Beatty did that with his directorial debut, 1978's Heaven Can Wait. Just a few years later came Red where he did it again.

Beatty's first acting roles came in 1957, but many would say his breakout role was the 1961 movie Spendor in the Grass. The 1967 movie Bonnie and Clyde was another notable project in Beatty's career, as he took on producing in addition to acting.

For many years, Beatty had a reputation off-screen of being a playboy. However, that reputation faded when he surprised fans by marrying Annette Bening in March 1992.

Bening and Beatty remain married now, more than 30 years later, and they have raised four children together.

The two fell for one another on the set of Bugsy in 1991. In 2016, Entertainment Weekly quoted Beatty as saying, "When I met Annette over lunch for Bugsy, I felt immediately that this was going to change my life."

He continued, "I remember losing interest in the garlic chicken I was eating within 20 seconds. And the garlic chicken had been very good!" After lunch, he insisted he wouldn't be hitting on her while filming. Apparently, he kept that promise until almost the end of filming.

"Towards the end of the movie, I said, 'Should we have dinner together?' I think there was a moment of hesitation on her part. The rule was broken." Shortly after Bugsy premiered in theaters, they welcomed their first child together and got married.

Happy 89th birthday to the legendary entertainer!

Mariska Hargitay to Take Over for This 'Harry Potter' Star on Broadway

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:20pm

Daniel Radcliffe has been shining on the New York stage, though his limited engagement is soon coming to an end.

When the Harry Potter alum takes his bow in May, Mariska Hargitay will take over and make her Broadway debut in Every Brilliant Thing.

“I read Every Brilliant Thing and cried, rejoiced, laughed, cried some more, and loved it so much,” the Law & Order: SVU star, 62, said in a statement to Deadline. “I’m always drawn to themes of healing and renewal, especially when the journey is rendered in all its complexity. It feels like an extraordinary gift to make my Broadway debut, the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, with a play that affirms life so emphatically."

Her statement continued, "For me, the triumph of this beautiful piece of work—this luminously brilliant thing—is that through a deeply personal story, we experience the universal endeavor of keeping ourselves pointed towards light, compassion and hope.”

Hargitay revealed her upcoming gig in a joint Instagram post on Monday, March 30. See below.

Fans have already shown plenty of support in the Instagram post's comments section. "This is absolutely amazing! Mariska on Broadway 🥹🤍 she's living a lifelong dream and she's gonna be absolutely spectacular 🥳," wrote one user, while another person commented, "I did NOT see this coming, but I totally LOVE IT 👏❤️🔥."

Radcliffe will tackle his final performance on Sunday, May 24, Deadline reports, with Hargitay debuting on Tuesday, May 26. The play — written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, and directed by Jeremy Herrin — has extended its run through Sunday, June 28, at the Hudson Theatre.

For those not yet familiar, Every Brilliant Thing is a one-person play — with some help from the audience — as the main character reflects on their life and the glimmers of hope that carried them through significant hardship.

Earlier this year, Parade reported on Hargitay's net worth in 2026, which is estimated to be a whopping $100 million.

1979 Hit Ranked Among ‘Top Classic Rock Songs’ Features a Misheard Word You’ve Been Singing Wrong for Years

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:20pm

In 1979, Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) soared  up the Billboard charts with the song “Don’t Bring Me Down.” The song, from the band’s 1979 album Discovery, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 1979, becoming one of the English rock band’s biggest hits.

In 2025, Ultimate Classic Rock ranked “Don’t Bring Me Down” one of the Top 100 classic rock songs of all time.

Written by Jeff Lynne, “Don’t Bring Me Down” features up-tempo guitar and keyboards and a punchy drum pattern, but it’s missing the usual orchestral instruments featured in most ELO tunes.

Speaking with Rolling Stone in 2016, Lynne revealed he “made up” the future hit in the studio. “And I play all the instruments,” he added. “It starts with a drum loop from another song that I sped up. I then compressed the s--- out of it. ...This was the first song I did without any strings. It was exciting to work with them when we started, but [after] six albums, I got fed up with them.”

When it came to the lyrics, Lynne said he threw in a random word to fill up space. “When I was singing it, there was a gap in the vocals, so I just shouted out ‘groose,’” Lynne shared. “It was a word that came to my head. The engineer said that it meant ‘greetings’ in German, which I thought was lovely and decided to leave in.”

For years, fans got the lyric wrong, assuming he said “Bruce” or “Ruth.”

“When I went onstage with it, everyone would sing ‘Bruce,’” Lynne confirmed. “I just ended up singing ‘Bruce’ as well.”

During an appearance on the Our American Stories podcast with Lee Habeeb Lynne said of the lyrics, “I thought of all these silly words, and that’s how that happened. I just wanted a silly one.”

He also noted that Bruce Willis used to go to ELO concerts at Madison Square Garden and would get a kick out of the “Bruce” line. “He’s right by the front,” Lynne recalled. “[So we sing] ‘Don’t Bringe Me Down….Bruce!’ And they, the bandmates all point to him.”

ELO’s engineer had a different story

While Lynne claimed he spontaneously came up with the nonsensical lyric, Reinhold Mack, the engineer during ELO's recording session, recalled things differently.

“Jeff started getting into it,“ Mack told Sound on Sound in an interview about the song. “And, as there was a plan for ELO to start a concert tour in Australia, the song was originally titled 'Don't Bring Me Down, Bruce'. This was meant to be a joke, referring to how many Australian guys are called Bruce.”

“But we couldn't leave it like that, so eventually we replaced it with 'grüss,’ based on the Bavarian greeting Grüß Gott — 'greet God'," he clarified. “Grüss, not Bruce, is what you hear in the song immediately following the title line."

Mack compared the lyric to Freddie Mercury joking around at the end of Queen's 1985 single “One Vision,” when he throws in the words "fried chicken."

RELATED: 1978’s Biggest No. 1 Hit Song Was Written in Ten Minutes

Mack acknowledged that Lynne told a different story. "According to Jeff, he came into the studio with the idea of doing something different, putting together the tape loop and then adding the various elements,” he noted. “That fits his personality; it's always him who conceives everything, sings everything, produces everything and so forth.”

One thing everyone could agree on is that “Don’t Bring Me Down” was written on the fly.

“It's a great big galloping ball of distortion,” Lynne said of the song on Habeeb's podcast. “I wrote it at the last minute, 'cause I felt there weren't enough loud ones on the album. This was just what I was after."

Britney Spears Enjoys Yacht Day With Sons Following DUI Arrest

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:15pm

Britney’s back, and she’s on a yacht.

The pop princess, who ditched Instagram after her recent DUI arrest, has returned to the platform -- although with new privacy settings -- and she’s posting her signature dancing videos again.

Britney Spears in new IG post with her two sons. She looks so happy!!! 😍 pic.twitter.com/0XYTvcqRwy

— y2k (@y2kpopart) March 29, 2026

The "...Baby One More Time" singer's latest video shows the superstar on what appears to be a yacht. She’s wearing a baby-pink flouncy top that is, of course, midriff revealing. Her white shorts-short are low-rise, revealing bright-green bikini bottoms. And she’s wearing a single lace glove, a bull-skull necklace, and oversize black shades.

At the beginning of the video, Spears is joined by her two adult sons -- Sean Preston Federline, 20, and Jayden James Federline, 19. Sandwiched between her boys, she says something to the camera but we can’t hear it over L.L. Cool Jay’s 1996 hit single, “Doin’ It” playing over the video. The guys throw up peace signs before the video switches over to classic Spears, singing, dancing, and straight workin’ it.

The video was shared over on X (formerly Twitter). Posted by y2k, the caption reads: “Britney Spears in a new IG post with her two sons. She looks so happy!!!” followed by a heart-eyes emoji.

Earlier this month, Spears deactivated her Instagram account, a move she’s done several times before following scandal or controversy. Though she's back on the platform and posting again, her account is set to private.

“Thank you guys for all your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing,” she wrote alongside her first post since her arrest. “Stay kind.”

Britney Spears' DUI Arrest

On March 4, Spears was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence. She was held for three hours before she was released. During that time, she was transported to the hospital so police could determine her intoxication levels.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” her manager, Cade Hudson, said in a statement. “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time. Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well-being.”

The "Oops!…I Did It Again" songstress is due to appear in court on May 4. But she appears to be spending quality time with her family before then.

I Tried the Internet-Famous Grillo's Pickle Dip, and It's Practically Perfect

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:15pm

Grillo’s pickles have quietly built a cult following over the past few years, and it’s not hard to see why. Known for their fresh, refrigerated approach and simple ingredients, they deliver a crisp, garlicky flavor that tastes closer to homemade than anything you'd find on a shelf.

As more people look for bold, clean flavors and snackable foods, Grillo's has become a go-to brand—especially on social media, where food trends can explode overnight. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before someone transformed these iconic pickles into the internet's latest obsession—pickle dip.

😋😋 SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter 🍳🍔

If you've spent any time scrolling lately, you've probably seen it. The viral Grillo's pickle dip has been popping up everywhere, with creators showcasing their versions of this creamy, tangy snack. The appeal is obvious—it's simple to make, packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. After seeing this version by @thesassybarn, I just knew I had to make it.

Ingredients for Viral Grillo's Pickle Dip View this post on Instagram

You'll need to gather cream cheese, sour cream, plain Greek yogurt, a packet of ranch seasoning, hot sauce, a large tub of Grillo's pickles, green onions, shredded cheese and bacon.

You can also grab some fresh or dried dill and garlic powder for extra flavor. The great news is you'll be able to customize it to your liking, as long as it has the basics. Additionally, you'll want to pick out a few dippers, such as crackers, chips and fresh vegetables for serving.

How to Make the Viral Grillo's Pickle Dip

Julie Andrews

To make the pickle dip, start by placing eight ounces of softened cream cheese in a large bowl and beating it on medium speed for about two to three minutes, until it's smooth and fluffy. Add ½ cup sour cream, ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, a one-ounce packet of ranch seasoning, and a dash of hot sauce, then continue mixing for another one to two minutes until everything is fully combined and silky.

Once your base is ready, fold in the good stuff: a 32-ounce container of chopped Grillo's pickles, a splash of pickle juice, three to four thinly sliced green onions, and a diced jalapeño if you want a little extra heat.

Stir in eight ounces of shredded cheddar cheese and about ½ cup of chopped cooked bacon (if using), then give everything a good mix until evenly distributed. Taste the dip and adjust any seasoning as needed. This is when you may want to add some garlic powder and dill, if you're feeling it. I also added a pinch of freshly cracked black pepper for good measure.

Cover the bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to come together. When you're ready to serve, pair it with chips, crackers or fresh-cut vegetables for dipping.

What I Thought of the Grillo's Pickle Dip

Here's where I fully understood the internet's obsession—this dip is ridiculously good. It's the kind of snack where you tell yourself, "Just one more bite," and suddenly half the bowl is gone. The texture is ultra-creamy, but every bite has that satisfying crunch from the pickles sneaking through.

The tanginess hits first, followed by a mellow, savory richness that somehow keeps you coming back for more. It's bold without being overwhelming—basically the perfect balance of indulgent and refreshing.

I served it with toasted chips and crisp cucumbers and carrots, and it disappeared faster than anything else on the table. Even family members who don't usually go for pickles kept coming back for more. And I'm not going to lie—I also dipped my chicken nuggets in it, and it was seriously next-level.

It has that cozy, crowd-pleasing creaminess everyone loves, but the bright, briny kick gives it a personality all its own. It feels a bit nostalgic and totally new at the same time. This pickle dip is one of those recipes that absolutely earns a permanent spot in the rotation. Just be warned that you won't be able to stop eating it.

Chevy Chase Offers Honest Review of Christina Applegate's New Book

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:10pm

Chevy Chaseis giving props to his former co-star Christina Applegate regarding her recent book success.

Just weeks after the release of Applegate's memoir, You With the Sad Eyes, Chase took a moment to praise the actress and "talented" author, with whom he previously worked with on 2015's Vacation.

Chase and Applegate worked together on the 2015 comedy film Vacation, a continuation of the National Lampoon's Vacation series following the iconic Griswold family. Chase reprised his role as Clark Griswold in the 2015 installment, while Applegate joined the cast as Debby Griswold, wife to Clark's son, Russell "Rusty" Griswold (played by Ed Helms.)

Both Applegate and Chase were in attendance for the film's premiere back in 2015, along with Beverly D'Angelo, who plays Ellen Griswold, the wife of Chase's character.

It's not clear if Applegate and Chase have maintained a friendship since starring together in the film, and as of publication time, Applegate has not publicly replied to Chase's Instagram post on Sunday.

Applegate's memoir has been praised for its raw and honest account of her life, including her personal traumas and her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2021. Following its release earlier this month, You With the Sad Eyes became an instant bestseller, reaching No. 1 on the New York Times' Hardcover Nonfiction bestseller list.

A Jeffrey Epstein TV Series Is Coming, and Laura Dern Will Play the Journalist Investigating Him

Mon, 03/30/2026 - 12:09pm

A Jeffrey Epstein TV series is coming, and Laura Dern will tackle the complex role of the talented journalist who dedicates her life to tracking his every move.

Based on the book Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story by acclaimed Miami Herald journalist Julie K. Brown, the series will star Dern as Brown as she works to investigate his crimes.

The series is described as “an explosive account of an investigative reporter exposing the secret plea deal between Epstein and federal prosecutors. Drawing from Brown’s experience as a groundbreaking reporter for the Miami Herald, the book and the limited series follow her relentless years-long investigation that identified 80 victims, persuaded key survivors to go on the record, and led to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s arrests,” the Hollywood Reporter shared.

Dern will executive produce the series, in addition to starring. Adam McKay, known for everything from Anchorman to Don't Look Up, will executive produce with Kevin Messick via Hyperobject Industries, the piece continued. Brown will also serve as an executive producer.

The Influence of Julie K. Brown's Reporting

While Epstein had previously been convicted on charges of procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute, Brown’s 2018 reporting in the Miami Herald led to a variety of new charges of sex trafficking against him and Ghislaine Maxwell. It also pushed for the release of the Epstein files from the Department of Justice, which is still ongoing.
