Is 'The Voice' Returning for Season 30? Auditions Are Already Open!

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:47pm

While The Voice has not officially been picked up for Season 30 by NBC, all signs are looking good for another season of the singing competition as The Voice Instagram account has already put out a call for auditions. With that, it's hard not to imagine NBC wanting a milestone 30th season.

What we can expect if The Voice returns this fall is the normal Blind Auditions, which is what makes the show unique, followed by the Battles and Knockouts. After that, who knows? This year, the Playoffs were eliminated in favor of the semifinals which led directly into the finale.

What we don't know is whether or not The Voice Season 30 will remain at three coaches instead of the usual four and whether or not America voting will be reinstated with live shows. We hope that would be the case. We missed it.

Here’s everything we know about The Voice Season 29 so far.

A '70s Rock Icon Just Announced New Songs and a Concert Experience Unlike Anything Before

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:44pm

If you thought Kiss was done after their farewell tour, Gene Simmons has some news for you.

Simmons has confirmed that the legendary rock band has written new songs, set to debut as part of their upcoming avatar-based show in Las Vegas in 2028.

"You're gonna get all that stuff, and also new songs," Simmons revealed to Pollstar on Monday, April 14. And when pressed for more details, he added, "Exactly what that means, written by us. We have songs done."

The avatar show, which Kiss first teased at the conclusion of their farewell tour in December 2023, is shaping up to be an ambitious project. Industrial Light & Magic (the visual effects company founded by George Lucas)will be creating the band's virtual avatars, while Pophouse Entertainment, the Swedish company behind the massively successful ABBA Voyage hologram show, will lead the rollout.

Paul Stanley promised the show will be anything but a generic greatest hits roundup. "It will have all the classics through the years and some surprises," he said to the outlet. He added that the experience "has really no connection to some of the experimental holograms that were tried in the past, which were really very primitive. This will be virtually seeing us. My avatar looks just like me, not a cartoon or an artist rendition. The great thing about being an icon is you can stay young forever."

While fans wait for 2028, Simmons has plenty keeping him busy in the meantime. The 76-year-old recently added three solo tour dates this summer—July 17 in Fresno, July 18 in Murphys, and July 19 in Stateline, Nevada—with Lita Ford, Sebastian Bach, and Quiet Riot joining him on stage for the run.  The newly added dates come on top of two already scheduled California shows in June at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Fresno and the Alamo Country Fair in Pleasanton, as well as an October residency in Cancun at The Sands. Tickets are on sale now.

2007 Hit Film Ranked Among 'Best Movies of All Time'

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:40pm

There are thousands of American films out there, but this 2007 thriller made the top 100.

Back in November 2024, Collider journalist Jeremy Urquhart took the time to rank what he thought were the "best movies of all time." According to him, a movie that can be considered "the greatest of all time" has the "combination of overall artistic merit and innovation, impact on culture, rewatchability and how well a motion picture has held up over time."

Many classics from various genres made the list, such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Avengers: Endgame, Willy Wonkaand the Chocolate Factory and more, but this standout was ranked at No. 78.

San Francisco police circulated this composite of the Bay Area's "Zodiac" killer.

Zodiac, the 2007 thriller-drama that stars Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr., who become obsessed with learning the identity of the Zodiac Killer, and bringing his victims justice. Meanwhile, Zodiac claims victim after victim and taunts the authorities with cryptic messages, cyphers and phone calls.

The movie is based on a true story. During the 1960s and 1970s, there was a serial killer on the loose who terrorized the streets of San Francisco. Almost sixty years later, the case remains one of the United States' most infamous unsolved crimes.

Zodiac was released by Paramount Pictures in the United States and Canada and by Warner Bros. Pictures in international markets on March 2, 2007. It received largely positive reviews, with praise for its writing, directing, acting and accuracy. In addition, the film was nominated for several awards, including various WGA nominations and the Saturn Award for Best Action, Adventure or Thriller Film.

Brian Cox, Elias Koteas, Donal Logue, John Carroll Lynch, Chloë Sevigny, Philip Baker Hall, and Dermot Mulroney all have supporting roles in the film.

A day before the release of Zodiac, director David Fincher did a Q&A with Cine Montage explaining the inspiration he had while directing the thriller.

"For me, Zodiac was so much a part of growing up in Marin County," the director explained. "It was the idea that monsters could be among us, that someone was out there, picking off stragglers. When you are seven years old, it’s a pretty big deal to have police cars following your school bus. The story was compelling to me, and that’s always my primary criteria."

The movie grossed over $84.7 million worldwide on a production budget of $65 million. Years following the release, Zodiac has garnered a large cult following, with many claiming it to be Fincher's magnum opus.

Zodiac can be streamed on YouTube, Pluto TV, Paramount+, The Roku Channel and Amazon Prime Video, or rent it for $3.99n Google Play Movies, Fandango at Home or Apple TV.

1981 Film Ranked No. 1 'Drama Movie of the '80s' Won 3 Academy Awards

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:39pm

The heartwarming 1981 film On Golden Pond, starring the late Henry Fonda, the late Katharine Hepburn, and actor and activist Jane Fonda, left an indelible mark on movie history for many reasons, not the least of which were its compelling storytelling, legendary dramatic performances, and a slew of nods and awards.

Ranked the No. 1 "Drama Movie of the 1980s," On Golden Pond pairs two renowned actors, who were both in their 70s at the time of filming—pretty uncommon in an industry that historically celebrated and still celebrates youth. Henry Fonda was 76, and Hepburn was 74 when they filmed the movie. Together they play the unforgettable, older married couple the world needed.

Related: 1976 Classic Movie About a Rowdy Team of Misfits You Still Quote Is 50 Years Old Today

Henry Fonda plays Norman Thayer, the cranky "old poop," as his on-screen wife Ethel Thayer, played by Hepburn, lovingly calls him. The older couple is spending their 48th summer together at their family lake house in Maine when their estranged daughter Chelsea Thayer (played by Jane Fonda, Henry's real-life daughter) pops in and talks her parents into caring for her new boyfriend's 13-year old son Billy (played by Doug McKeon). A surprising relationship evolves, lots of moving, tear-jerking, and anxiety-inducing moments unfurl, and ultimately there is some much-needed family healing.

Jane Fonda and her father Henry Fonda famously struggled with a strained, emotionally distant relationship in real life, a fact that only added to their performances.

The actress has talked publicly about her difficult relationship with her father and says she was able to get some closure with her dad before his death. She tells People, "Before he died I was able to tell him that I loved him and that I forgave him for, you know, whatever didn't happen. And I hope that he would forgive me for not being a better daughter. I got to say that to him."

The actors and the film grabbed several nominations and wins at the Golden Globe and BAFTAs, and scooped up three Academy Awards in 1982 for the following:

  • Henry Fonda - Best Actor in a Leading Role
  • Katharine Hepburn - Best Actress in a Leading Role
  • Ernest Thompson - Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay)

The win for his Norman Thayer role made Henry Fonda the oldest actor to win a Best Actor Oscar at the time (actor Anthony Hopkins has stolen this record). It was Fonda's final role before he died on August 12, 1982.

On Golden Pond was the second-highest-grossing film in 1981, earning over $119 million in box office revenue.

On Golden Pond will always be remembered for its rich portrayal of aging, marriage, family strife, and forgiveness. You'll also learn a little bit about loons and the definition of "suck face." Have your hanky available because there are some real tear-jerking scenes.

Anna Kendrick Interview About ‘Aggressive’ Katy Perry Resurfaces Amid Sexual Assault Claims

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:38pm

Following Batwoman actress Ruby Rose’s sexual assault allegations involving pop star Katy Perry, there’s an old celebrity interview that isn’t aging too well.

In 2014, Anna Kendrick appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late-night talk show promoting her film A Simple Favor. During their chat, Perry's name came up, with Kendrick detailing a “weird” encounter she had with the “Firework" singer.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

“Katy Perry finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night,” Kendrick said with the audience laughing. “She’s very mature.”

Making light of the situation, Kendrick, 40, said that her plunging gown was “kinda asking for it.” She then broke down the encounter even further, calling Perry “aggressive” and adding that she “likes it,” though.

The talk show interview is taking on new meaning today, as Rose, 40, came out publicly with her claims involving Perry, 41, yesterday.

Taking to social media, the model/actress detailed an encounter with Perry at a Melbourne nightclub that happened years ago when Rose was in her 20s and ended with her “projectile vomiting” all over the songstress.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s–t what she thinks,” Rose responded to a music share posted by Complex about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance.

You can read more about Rose’s claims here.

As of publication, neither Perry nor Kendrick has responded to news about the video resurfacing or Rose’s claims.

1957 No. 1 Hit Inspired Dozens of Covers But the Original Remains Untouchable

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:31pm

On this day in 1957, Don Gibson climbed to the top of the country charts with "Oh Lonesome Me," where he would stay for eight nonconsecutive weeks. The song crossed over to the Hot 100, peaking at No. 7, making it Gibson's only crossover hit.

"I write about people, not things," the country star once said. "I never had a lot of education, and I don't feel easy with words. Most of the words to my songs are real simple. I just make them up to some tune on the guitar I've come up with. It's the sound of the guitar that I've always been interested in."

There's a reason why he's dubbed "The Sad Poet." "Oh Lonesome Me" is a classic breakup song in country music history, detailing a man unable to move past his lover — and listeners have long argued the original has never been topped.

Musicians across genres lined up to cover it anyway, from Johnny Cash, whose 1961 rendition reached No. 13 on the country chart, to Neil Young, the Everly Brothers, and Stonewall Jackson. TheKentucky Headhunters were among the latest to take it on, bringing it to No. 8 in 1990 in what became the band's biggest hit.

Gibson had originally released "Oh Lonesome Me" as a single before making it the title track of his April 1958 album. It wasn't the only song from that record to find success — "I Can't Stop Loving You" also cracked the country top 10.

It wasn't long before other artists took their own shot at it. Kitty Wells hit the top 5 with "I Can't Stop Loving You" that same year, and Count Basie's 1963 version won a Grammy for Best Instrumental Arrangement. Faron Young, Frank Sinatra, Jim Reeves, Duke Ellington, Jerry Lee Lewis, Freddy Fender and Bryan Adams have all recorded it since.

No one, however, did more with "I Can't Stop Loving You" than Ray Charles. He hadn't planned to release his Modern Sounds recording as a single, but DJs started playing it anyway. According to Song Facts, Tab Hunter caught one of those spins, cut his own version and beat Charles to the single.

Charles and ABC Records were furious. They rushed out Charles' version with a full promotional push, including a full-page Billboard ad — and it paid off. His recording topped the Pop, R&B and Adult Contemporary charts.

'Age of Attraction': Libby Says Posting Andrew Feels 'Illegal'

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:29pm

There are two couples from Age of Attraction going strong after the reunion. Libby Vodicka and Andrew Wheeler are making their long-distance relationship work and publicly sharing it. She admitted that posting them together still doesn't feel right.

Libby, 23, posted pictures at Coachella with Andrew, 39, on her Instagram Story. "Guys, I just wanna let [you] know this felt so illegal to post even though we fully already kissed on Netflix for millions to see," she wrote over the post on April 13.

The couple posted a video of themselves getting ready for the festival on April 11. "And after nine months of hiding our relationship and not being able to post anything we can actually pop out together," Libby said as she put on makeup. "So this is so fun."

Andrew said the only time he made TikToks was with his daughters, and didn't imagine doing posts like these after the Netflix show. Libby said these changes were from "manifestation and delusion working."

Another cast member is enjoying the festival with the couple. Derrick Fleming is in pictures with Andrew on his Instagram. Derrick, 44, dated Pfeifer Hill on the show, but the relationship ended shortly after filming. It was also revealed that he dated another cast member after the breakup.

Libby isn't the first person of the cast to talk about hiding their relationship. Logan Goodrid shared pictures of the nine months after filming with Vanessa Drozda. He proposed to her in the finale. That leaves two couples still together after season 1's reunion.

There’s nothing worse than putting together an outfit you really love, only to second-guess your shoe choice the second you step outside. Maybe they look great but start rubbing halfway through the day, or they’re comfortable but throw off the whole aesthetic. Either way, it’s that constant back-and-forth between style and comfort that makes getting dressed feel more complicated than it should be. Luckily, there are a few designers who have figured out how to do both.

One of those brands is Skechers — and right now, the brand’s Performance Go Walk Flex Sunset Rose Slip-Ins are on sale for just $45 at Zappos, marked down 40% from the original $75 price tag. They’re easy on your feet, easy to pair with your wardrobe, and easy to default to day after day.

The insole also includes the brand’s signature heel pillow, which helps keep your foot securely in place without slipping around, giving you that locked-in, supportive feel without any stiffness.

'Summer House's Carl Radke and Bailey Taylor Reveal They 'Love' Each Other— But Are They Dating?

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:18pm

Summer House's Carl Radke and Bailey Taylor are in "love." Well ... more of a friendship type of love despite everyone in the house shipping them last summer.

Bailey and Carl seemed to be trying to sow the seeds of romance on Summer House Season 10, but instead, they may have found true friendship. Bailey was a guest on Carl's More Life with Carl Radkepodcast, and the two gushed about their connection, also sharing dating war stories. "Carl, I love you so much, you have no idea. You're one of my favorite people I've ever met in my whole life," Bailey told Carl. He responded, "Now you're going to make me cry."

Carl continued, " Everything you just said there is so powerful. And someone who's really tried in the last few years to like turn some of my ups and downs into trying to really help others. You forget about some of the women and what you're talking about. And like, as a guy, like I needed to hear this and I wanna learn and I want to become a better version and you've certainly helped me do that, I feel like. And I really appreciate your story and everything you're about because you have a really important story that needs to be told."

He added, "I love you too."

View this post on Instagram

Carl and Bailey are both seemingly single, as Carl noted that Bailey had been single for two years and relates it to his own experience, explaining that it took him about a year to feel comfortable and confident enough to start dating again.

He asked her if she’s been putting herself out there, adding that they’ve shared some flirtation themselves. Bailey recounted that she went on dates and had short-lived flings, but nothing lasted more than a couple of weeks. She admitted that the idea of something turning serious—like becoming her boyfriend—freaked her out.

"Is that because of previous boyfriends and how things have gone?" Carl wondered, referring to the relationship Bailey described on the show that imploded. "Yeah, I think," Bailey replied.

When Carl asked if she had her guard up as a result, Bailey replied, "I personally feel I'll never trust someone again, but I don't think that that's like necessarily the case, but still, as of right now, it feels like I'll never trust someone again."

Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

Did Justin Bieber Sandbag Coachella on Purpose? Here's What the Experts Are Saying

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:13pm

Justin Bieber's Coachella set on Saturday has people talking, and not exactly in the way the pop star probably hoped.

Bieber, 32, headlined the festival on April 11, spending most of his time on stage running through tracks from his 2025 albums SWAG and SWAG II with little more than a laptop behind him. He did pull out some of his bigger hits, but only briefly, playing a short medley that came and went before the crowd could really enjoy it.

For a lot of people who showed up expecting something iconic, often dubbed and hyped up as “Bieberchella,” it landed flat. And social media made that very clear, considering Bieber was paid a pretty penny to perform.

“Mind you this is the highest paid Coachella performance of all time,” one Instagram user said, referring to Bieber’s $10 million dollar payday.

Another shared, “I wish I more easily amused. Maybe I’m not a true fan. I’m not gonna lie, coming from Sabrina’s production to this was truly lackluster.”

Some, however, thought the move was genius, with comments like, “This was genius and more intimate to his true fans,” and “i loveddd watching him sing along with his younger self.”

View this post on Instagram

The theory that took off almost immediately was that Bieber's hands were tied. He sold his entire music catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for over $200 million back in 2022, and plenty of outlets ran with the idea that the sale was the reason he could not lean into his old material the way fans wanted—but instead found a loophole via his laptop.

READ MORE: Coachella Attendees’ Campsites Destroyed After Unexpected Weather — See the Shocking Videos

While it made sense on the surface, it was also, according to people who actually know how these deals work, not true.

Billboard Canada got a source close to the catalog deal on record about it. "That's nonsense," they said in an article shared Monday, April 13. "There are no restrictions on what he can or can't do in live performance."

The outlet noted that selling your publishing rights does not mean you cannot perform those songs. Venues handle live performance licensing automatically, and that it has nothing to do with who owns the masters. And if you pay attention, Bieber actually did perform several of the songs included in the sale that night.

So if the catalog excuse does not hold up, what actually happened? Was this Bieber making a deliberate choice to push his new era front and center, regardless of what the crowd wanted? Was it a genuine miscalculation?

What everyone can seem to agree on is that the conversation is far from over, and Bieber has another shot at it when Weekend 2 kicks off April 18.

1954 Film Was Just Ranked the 'Most Perfect' Movie of the Last 75 Years

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:12pm

Hollywood has released its fair share of incredible films over the last 75 years. The publication Collider recently took on the nearly impossible task of narrowing down the 10 "most perfect" films made since 1951. The list included beloved classics like 1975's Jaws, The Godfather from 1972, Parasite, released in 2019, and Pan's Labyrinth from 2006.

The 1954 film Seven Samurai secured the spot of the number one most perfect film since 1951. According to Collider, the Akira Kurosawa-directed film can be considered a perfect movie because of its excellent pacing, compelling story, and sheer amount of thrills.

Not only is Seven Samurai, which has a score of 100 on Rotten Tomatoes, beloved by audiences and critics alike, it has also been quite influential among popular filmmakers. Directors Martin Scorsese, George Lucas, and Steven Spielberg have all shared their appreciation for Kurosawa and his works.

In a 1981 interview on The Dick Cavett Show, Kurosawa, who died in 1998 at the age of 88, shared that he was aware that many Western filmmakers adored his movies, which also included 1962's Sanjuro, Ikiru from 1952, and Dreams from 1990.

"I had heard something about it," quipped the Japanese filmmaker.

During the 1981 interview, Kurosawa discussed the violence in his movies, specifically Seven Samurai. He explained that his nature as a pacifist enabled him to depict unflinching, violent scenes.

"I, in fact, detest violence, perhaps because I detest it so much, it stays in my mind. And maybe that's why scenes such as the battle in Seven Samurai are easy for me to do," said the director.

While filming The Dick Cavett Show episode, Kurosawa also shared some insight on how the action scenes involving swords were filmed for Seven Samurai.

"In those scenes, we have bamboo swords that have silver painted on them, so it's not as dangerous as you would think. Although there have been injuries, there is no danger of someone being killed in that kind of sword fight," said Kurosawa.

7UP Is Now an Energy Drink Thanks to a First-Ever Collab

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 3:08pm

7Up fans, it's finally happening, the beloved lemon-lime soda is officially getting its own energy drink.

Months ago, social media sleuths speculated that an energy drink flavored like the iconic Keurig Dr Pepper soft drink would be hitting the market after an insider revealed a potential partnership with a leaked retail calendar. At the time, it was still just hearsay and much was unknown, but now all the official details have spilled and fans seem all the more excited.

On Tuesday, popular energy drink maker Ghost—which is was recently acquired by Keurig Dr Pepper—revealed it would be launching a "refreshing, nostalgic" new variety inspired by the citrusy soda.

"This one is special for us. Since announcing the Ghost partnership with Keurig Dr Pepper, our fans have been eager to see how it would come to life through one of the iconic brands in their portfolio," Dan Lourenço, co-founder and CEO of Ghost, explained in an April 14 announcement.

"7UP is iconic. It's refreshing, nostalgic, and has even inspired Ghost in the past," Lourenço noted. "We're excited to bring this flavor to life in a way that stays true to both brands, and we believe it's going to be one of the standout flavors of the summer in the energy drink space."

Ghost Launches 7Up-Flavored Energy Drink

According to the official press release, Ghost Energy X 7Up features a completely original formula that was developed in collaboration with 7UP to deliver a "true-to-brand lemon-lime experience" in a way that "feels both authentic and distinctly its own" without any added sugar.

Even the can is designed to look like classic soda packaging, which the Ghost said reinforces "the nostalgic connection" while delivering a modern look and formula packed with the energy drink's functional, performance-driven ingredients (200 milligrams of caffeine, added vitamins and signature blend of nootropics).

"This collaboration thoughtfully extends an iconic brand into a new moment that feels modern, intuitive and authentic to both partners," Justin Whitmore, president of energy brands at Keurig Dr Pepper, added. "This activation of our brands aligns with evolving consumer needs, especially in fast growing categories like energy."

GHOST® taps into classic lemon-lime nostalgia with its new 7UP® Energy drink launch

According to fans online, the only thing that could make this partnership even sweeter is if it extends to include other Keurig Dr Pepper soft drinks—which is totally possible, as the Ghost teased "more coming soon" and initial rumors suggested A&W Root Beer would also be getting a Ghost energy drink makeover later this year (though, that's still unconfirmed).

"Dr Pepper Ghost needed," one begged on Instagram.

Another called the 7Up version "the current unicorn of energy drinks."

"Just waiting over here for them to drop into retail stores," a third lamented.

One more said they "NEED IT IN MY LIFE NOWWWWWW."

Where Will the Ghost x 7Up Energy Drink Be Sold?

Ghost Energy X 7Up is now available for a limited time at select retailers nationwide, including Target, Walmart, Circle K, CVS, and more (prices may vary).

I will never get over a chic lantern moment in home decor. They instantly make a space feel dreamy and cozy at the same time—like the second you light one, everything slows down a little. Grabbing a lantern and heading out to the backyard for a quiet moment? It honestly feels like I've wandered into a scene from a Taylor Swift video, and I'm not mad about it.

While I love a big, statement lantern as much as anyone, there's something extra special about scattering a handful of smaller ones around. Line them along a patio, cluster them on a table, or dot them around a room, and they give this soft, twinkly glow that feels so romantic and relaxed.

FLODSVALA Lantern in pale pink, $9.99 at IKEA

IKEA

Shop It!

It's one of those simple decor moves that looks like you tried way harder than you actually did—which, let's be very clear, is the dream. And recently, I found a sweet little lantern that totally leans into that vibe in the prettiest way. It's the FLODSVALA Lantern in a pale pink, available at IKEA for $9.99.

This circular-shaped lantern is small, standing just 8 ¼-inches tall, but it's so cute. There's a holder inside to contain a tealight, so one single lantern won't light up your whole patio, but a few gathered near one another can provide a nice ambient glow.

The FLODSVALA lantern is new to IKEA in the U.S., but shoppers in other parts of the world have been enjoying its charm for a little while now. Like this customer from Germany who wrote this in their review.

"I love this lamp more and more," they said. "It's a completely different design to the usual lanterns. Dear IKEA, I'll be right there if it comes in a different color."

If you haven't been inside an IKEA lately, now is the time. It just released a reimagined version of one of its original 1960s swivel chairsthat customers are going bananas over. And there's a boho-style end table that looks way more expensive than its $149.99 price tag. (Plus there's concealed storage!) But my favorite IKEA department is always the outdoor section, which currently houses a set of sleek patio nesting tables. I'm not saying you have to run to IKEA right now, but I sure wouldn't dilly dally. This stuff won't be around for long.

Guy Fieri Issues Statement Following Unexpected Interaction: 'I'm Devastated'

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 2:55pm

Guy Fieri has issued a statement after he was seen mingling with the Tate Brothers at UFC 327.

"I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event and all I can say is that I’m devastated," Fieri wrote on X. "I was there to see the fights and when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened. I did not know them or about them before that moment."

"I’ll never pretend to be a perfect person but let me be crystal clear, I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way," Fieri added.

The video this post is about: pic.twitter.com/WslU7i9g9d

— Damaged Sector (@DamagedSector) April 14, 2026

In at least one video posted on social media, the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host shook hands with Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate. The Tate brothers are extremely controversial and are currently dealing with human trafficking charges in Romania. Meanwhile, authorities in the United Kingdom are investigating Andrew over alleged assault and abuse. The Tate brothers have denied any and all charges brought against them.

Fieri's statement received mixed reactions from social media users.

"Seems pretty friendly," one person wrote.

"I can't believe you are apologizing for meeting someone you did not know," someone else said.

"Yeah well you still don't make any apologies for your association with Trump, so you're still a problem," another social media user added.

"Bro why are you apologizing for being cordial with someone at a public event. You look goofy. Stop it," a fourth comment read.

UFC 327 was held at the Kaseya Center in Miami and drew quite a few notable names, including President Donald Trump, Kid Rock, Joe Rogan, and more.

Iconic '70s Rock Band Announces Update Amid 2026 Tour

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 2:55pm

Chicago has some exciting news for their fans.

This summer, the "rock and roll band with horns" will be on the road for their The Windy City Tour, which they will be embarking on around the United States and Canada from May to October. The series of concerts is set to start on May 1 at the Brandon Amphitheater, then conclude at Idaho Falls on Oct. 2. In between, Chicago is set to perform in various states, including Missouri, Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, California, New York and more.

On Monday, Chicago revealed via Instagram that they are adding a stop to their The Windy City Tour in Washington, and will be performing at the Washington State Fair Event Center in Puyallup, WA, on Sept. 26. The fair, which is held at the state's largest event center, is held every year at the grounds, where they have games, animals, rides and special performances.

Presale tickets went on sale on Tuesday morning, while general sale tickets will be available for purchase on Friday.

Growing out of several bands from the Chicago area in the late 1960s, the original line-up of Chicago consisted of Peter Cetera, Terry Kath, Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, Walter Parazaider and Danny Seraphine. The group initially called themselves The Big Thing, then changed to the Chicago Transit Authority in 1968, and finally shortened the name to Chicago in 1969.

Since its formation in 1967, Chicago has released more than 25 studio albums and has sold over 40 million units in the United States. The lineup has changed multiple times, but its current members are Loughnane, James Pankow, Robert Lamm, Ray Herrmann, Walredo Reyes Jr., Neill Donell, Ray Yslas, Tony Obrohta, Eric Baines, Carlos Murguía and Justin Avery. In August 2023, members Lamm and Loughnane sat down with AXS TV and spoke about their secret to staying fresh and being a relevant group for more than 50 years.

"We are included in that very large category called 'Rock Band,' but when we started, we were influenced by soul bands in the Midwest," Lamm explained. "When we began playing our repertoire from that, in addition to playing rock tunes, we tried to arrange the cover songs for horns."

James Pankow plays trombone, Ray Hermann plays sax and Lee Loughnane plays the trumpet as the band Chicago performs at the Arena Monterrey on May 27, 2025 in Monterrey, Mexico.

Since then, Chicago has become one of the most successful and longest-running American rock bands, blending the genres of jazz, pop and classical. In 2016, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as well as having received 10 Grammy Award nominations, winning one for the song "If You Leave Me Now."

Tickets for their upcoming The Windy City Tour can be found on their official website. Tickets for their concert at the Washington State Fair will be available on Friday.

Nationwide Recall Issued for Cough Drops Due to Manufacturing Concerns—Here's What to Know

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 2:45pm

Despite the fact that fall and winter are peak cold and flu season, anyone with seasonal allergies knows that there's no stopping a runny nose. Even if you do somehow make it through the winter unscathed, as soon as the pollen starts blanketing everything, you'll probably need to keep a steady supply of tissues and cough drops on hand just in case you make the amateur mistake of going outside and actually inhaling. It's an unfortunate reality for a lot of us, but at the very least, we can rely on our trusty cocktail of antihistamines, Kleenex, and cough suppressants to help us make it through the season—right?

Well, kind of. For the most part, our go-to regimen of loading up on vitamin C, keeping a pack of tissues nearby at all times, and trying our hardest not to breathe too hard outside is exactly what we need to keep the sniffles and subsequent coughs at bay. But if you tend to reach for a cough drop to help soothe your throat and open up your nasal passages so that you can actually breathe outside, you might want to think twice before popping one into your mouth due to a recently issued recall affecting cough drops sold nationwide.

Related: Immediate Recall Issued on This Popular Pantry Staple for a Very Serious Reason

Oddly, the filing is relatively vague about the actual reason for the recall and simply cites that the FDA made "certain observations" that led to its recall recommendation. It's also worth noting that, to date, no sickness or adverse reactions have been reported. Currently, the recall is scheduled as a Class II, which the agency defines as "a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote."

What to Do If You Have Recalled Cough Drops

While the best course of action if you have any of the affected brands or products is to stop taking them and throw them away, because the recall is scheduled as a Class II, according to the FDA, you can generally continue taking the medicine unless the recalling company provides other instructions. Personally, we'll look for an alternative. Or, you know, just seal ourselves inside a bubble until peak pollen season is over. To find out more about the recall, visit the FDA's website.

1976 Power Ballad Named No. 1 Hit Song Became a Breakup Anthem

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 2:41pm

Fifty years ago, the iconic 1970s soul group The Manhattans topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their hit breakup song, "Kiss and Say Goodbye."

Released in March 1976 as the lead single from their self-titled seventh studio album, "Kiss and Say Goodbye" became a massive breakthrough hit. After only eight weeks, the track climbed up the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at No. 1 for two consecutive weeks. The song also topped the Billboard R&B chart, attesting to its wide reach.

"Kiss and Say Goodbye" quickly became the group's most commercially successful song. Shortly after its release, it was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over two million copies, making it the third single in history to earn Platinum status (following The Association's "Windy"). This landmark success also aided the album's performance, with The Manhattans peaking at No. 16 on the Billboard 200.

Produced by Bobby Martin via Columbia Records, "Kiss and Say Goodbye" is recognizable for its spoken-word intro, powerful vocals and lush orchestration. The track's polished production made it a quintessential soul ballad, beautifully blending melodic harmonies and R&B elements. The melancholic nature of the production amplified the song's themes.

Written by the group's bass singer, Winfred "Blue" Lovett, "Kiss and Say Goodbye" captures the dramatic emotional experience of a breakup. It's rumored that the lyrics came to Lovett at 3 a.m., and despite being initially imagined as a country tune, it was transformed into the R&B slow jam that it is known as today. Lovett's lyricism articulates the grief of parting with a partner, creating a definite breakup anthem.

Although the track was released five decades ago, it remains a relevant hit. The themes present in "Kiss and Say Goodbye" continue to resonate with modern audiences, racking up millions of plays on streaming platforms. On Spotify alone, the song has garnered over 101 million streams, affirming its enduring legacy.

What Has the Artemis II Crew Been up To? A Dog Video, Thanking Families, and Sentimental Speeches

Tue, 04/14/2026 - 2:26pm

The world watched for 10 days as the Artemis II expedition launched from Earth and orbited around to the dark side of the moon. Going farther than any human in history, the crew made headlines daily. But now that they’re safely back on the Earth, what are these astronauts up to?

Whether you’re a superfan of space flight or just curious about these instant-celebs, you want to know how the four-person crew reunited with their kids, families, and even pets after their historic mission.

NASA astronaut and electrical engineer Christina Koch is a parent…that is, a pet parent. The crew member recently made headlines after a viral homecoming video surfaced on Instagram. And while she’s the only one of the four who doesn’t have human kiddos, her fur baby greeted her with as much gusto as an energetic tween.

View this post on Instagram

The video, taken from inside Koch’s home, shows her playful pup, Sadie, scratching at the door and barking. In all the excitement, Sadie rushes to pick up a toy and carries it to Christina. Next, the dog-mom gleefully gushes over the dog, dropping to her knees for a furry hug.

Koch also gives her public an update on how life’s going now that she’s back on solid land. In another clip, the astronaut and Sadie chase each other through the waves at the edge of a sandy beach. Of course, she didn’t only include videos and a pic. Christina also writes a sweetly sentimental caption, “I’m still pretty sure I was the happier side of this reunion. Sadie taught me everything I needed to know about being an emotional support animal. Didn’t expect that would come in handy.”

How did Koch’s crewmates greet their human kiddos? Commander Reid Wiseman recently posted a selfie (on Instagram) with his two daughters, Ellie and Katy. The simple caption, “Mission complete,” says it all.

View this post on Instagram

Fans and famous friends applauded the dad, showering him with praise. Former Today host Katie Couric commented, “I’m so inspired by your story, your girls, and the way you’ve honored your wonderful wife. Thank you for being a model of compassion and integrity when both are so sorely needed.” Along with well-wishes and accolades for the commander, another comment kind of says it all: “Our favorite girl dad.”

In their first public appearance after landing, the NASA astronauts spoke about the mission, with Wiseman saying, “No one knows what the families went through, man. This was not easy. Being 200,000-plus miles away from home…and when you’re out there, you just want to get back to your families and your friends.

Fellow crew member Victor Glover added to Wiseman’s statement, “I wanted to thank our families for everything he just said…I love you, but not just those five beautiful cocoa-skinned ladies right there. All of you.” And yes, he was talking about his wife Dionna Glover and their four daughters.

Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen also spoke at the welcome home event, saying, “I’ll start with gratitude for my family.” Hansen’s family includes his wife, Catherine, and three children, Devon, Ashley, and Katelyn.”
