Grammy Award-winning singer and Living Colour frontman Corey Glover has officially joined the all-star collective One Tribe Nation, giving the Los Angeles-based group one of rock's most recognizable voices as it prepares for its next chapter and a busy live schedule in 2026.

The new lineup will make its Los Angeles debut on July 25 during The Bluesadelic Sessions Live at The Den Studios, marking the first local appearance for the expanded band and offering fans an early look at material from One Tribe Nation's upcoming third studio album, Estado Dorado.

Led by guitarist and musical director Michael Sanders, the group will perform original songs alongside new interpretations of music by Living Colour, Santana, Curtis Mayfield and Sly & The Family Stone.

The partnership between Sanders and Glover began through a shared interest in songwriting. According to the band, Glover heard one of Sanders's unfinished songs through a mutual friend and immediately connected with the material. The pair later wrote several songs together and recorded new music, creating the foundation for One Tribe Nation's newest era.

"As a young black rock kid, those guys were gods to us," says Sanders, per Blabbermouth. "Working with Corey has been one of those surreal full-circle moments. The first song we wrote together sounded like we'd been making music together for years."

For Glover, joining One Tribe Nation adds another chapter to a career that stretches back more than four decades.

The Brooklyn-born singer became the voice of Living Colour in 1985 after being recruited by guitarist Vernon Reid. The band's 1988 debut album Vivid became a major success and helped establish Living Colour as one of the defining rock acts of the late 1980s.

Their hit song "Cult of Personality" earned a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance and introduced audiences to the band's mix of rock, funk, jazz and soul influences.

Since then, Glover has built a career that stretches well beyond Living Colour. He has released solo music, worked with numerous artists across genres, toured with the funk group Galactic and appeared in projects including the 1986 film Platoon.

In 2025, Glover was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame for his work with Living Colour.

The singer has remained active throughout 2026 while also discussing progress on Living Colour's long-awaited seventh studio album, which will be the band's first release since 2017's Shade.

"We've written a few things and we've recorded a few things. Personally, I'm not satisfied just yet," Glover said during an appearance on SiriusXM's Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk.

"We need to really go in there and sort of sit down and concentrate on making a record," he said. "And once we do that, I think we'll be good. I don't know when that's gonna be or how that's gonna work, but I can't wait for it to happen."

While Glover's arrival gives One Tribe Nation additional star power, the project was designed as a true ensemble rather than a featured-artist collaboration.

The lineup includes former Whitesnake bassist Uriah Duffy, two-time Grammy-winning percussionist Christian Pepin, veteran keyboardist Dave Schulz, drummer David Cowan and vocalist Ben Thomas.

Together, the musicians bring experience from rock, Latin music, jazz, funk, soul and pop projects that span several decades.

One Tribe Nation says its performances are built around community, musicianship and cultural diversity, combining Afro-Latin rhythms with rock, jazz and soul influences in a live setting designed to connect audiences across generations, according to Sonic Perspective.

The July 25 performance will also provide the first public preview of songs from Estado Dorado, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Back in February, Khaled took to Instagram to show a dramatic before-and-after post of his dramatic weight loss.

“You either win with us or you watch us win,” he captioned the photo. “I’m just getting started.“

In his Instagram Stories, Khaled shared a photo of himself on the golf course, adding that he was slimming down while playing the sport, as well as getting 15,000 steps a day.

“Walk and golf,” he wrote. “I want the weight off and it’s coming off!”

“I’m about to show up to greatness,” he said in another clip, PEOPLE reported. “And once you show up, you gotta put in that work. It’s 10-15,000 steps a day, just like I said. I’ve been doing 15-20 a day, but as long as you get to 10-15, you’re starting off your day incredibly. And everything after that is a bonus. Remember that!”

DJ Khaled Starred in a Wegovy Commercial

You may remember that Khaled appeared alongside several other stars in a Super Bowl commercial for the Wegovy weight-loss pill.

In a statement, he said, "I know what it’s like to go hard in the gym, eat clean, stay disciplined – put in that work every single day, but still not see the results you want. I knew I wanted to work with Novo Nordisk because I’m a father, I’m a husband, and I want to be the best for my family. When you’re trying to reach your goals and you’re looking for something more, having an option like Wegovy pill – that’s powerful."

John Stamos opened up about an original version of Full House that never made it to air— with a different Danny Tanner, the beloved character eventually played by Bob Saget.

During a July 2026 appearance on Bobby Bones’ podcast The Bobbycast, Stamos, who played Full House hunk Jesse Katsopolis for eight seasons, recalled shooting the pilot for the ABCsitcom with actor John Posey in the role of the Tanner family patriarch.

Soon after ABC picked up the series and told Posey he had the job, he was replaced by Saget, seemingly out of the blue, and an entirely new pilot was shot.

Stamos admitted it was a messy situation as it unfolded.

“I think I felt bad for the guy,” he said of Posey. "But it wasn’t like... we didn’t know what the show was going to be. The show wasn’t a hit for the first season. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, that guy’s really losing out on something.’ We were just shooting a pilot, and we didn’t really know what we had.”

“And I think, you know, the chemistry of the show …I don’t know if the show would have been the same with the original guy, obviously. But it was a little weird,” Stamos added of the hit series.

Full House aired from 1987 to 1995 and was part of ABC’s popular TGIF lineup on Friday nights. The beloved family-themed series centered on Saget’s Danny Tanner, a widowed father of three who raises his daughters with the help of his brother-in-law (Stamos) and best friend (Dave Coulier).

Posey went on to roles inDallas, Cheers, Teen Wolf, and more, but he never forgot that he was almost Danny Tanner—for one episode, anyway.

In 2014, Posey told Yahoo! Entertainment he was approached to shoot the Full House pilot after an ABC talent scout spotted him in a comedy show.

"In all honesty, if somebody were to ask me now, I have no idea whether I was good in that pilot or not,” he admitted. “But overall I thought everything was pretty decent. And the show went. [ABC] picked it up with me, and everything was fine, until about a month or so later when I heard otherwise. … I get a phone call… and it was my agent saying, 'I don't know what's going on, but for some reason they're testing Bob Saget.' And I said, 'What are you talking about? Why would they do that?'”

“It seemed like everything was fine,” he noted. “We shot it. I learned as much as I could in a short period of time. And next thing I know... 'Hey, you're no longer employed.'"

Posey later found out that Saget and Paul Reiser were two actors originally wanted for the Danny Tanner role, but both were obligated to other shows.

"I guess something opened up for him,” Posey added of Saget. “Maybe he was fired from something, I think, and suddenly he was available. And I guess the executive producer talked ABC into allowing him to re-shoot. So that was the end of that."

Posey added that the Danny Tanner switcheroo was hardest on Candace Cameron and Jodie Sweetin, two of the young actresses who played his daughters in the pilot and would go on play Saget’s character’s daughters for eight subsequent seasons.

“I know that the young girls were all a little bit shattered when it happened, because we developed a pretty good relationship,” Posey shared. “Candace, she was very upset that [it] fell apart. It was hard for the kids to have to do this all over again with somebody they didn't know."

Zach Bryan has announced a new EP while continuing his massive 2026 international tour, giving fans fresh music to look forward to before the end of the year.

The country singer-songwriter recently revealed on YouTube that his upcoming project will be titled Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs. The announcement arrived alongside a new teaser for the unreleased song "Lodi When," marking the latest preview from the project.

Bryan shared only limited details about the EP and did not provide a release date. However, the timing of the announcement and his recent online activity suggest new music could arrive sooner rather than later.

The Oklahoma native has already previewed several songs connected to the project, including "Breakfast in Bed," "Better Friends" and "Lodi When." Fans have also speculated that additional unreleased tracks such as "You'll Get By" and "Pocket Change" could eventually appear on the record.

In "Lodi When," Bryan reflects on a former relationship and earlier chapters of his life.

"He made a big mess of all the songs he wrote/ He’d sing to you come daylight, but die before he woke."

The song continues with one of its most talked-about lines:

"If you could write a book on the man that you once were / Would you write about drinking / Or would you write about her / If you could just go back to the places you once been / Would you go back to her arms, back to Lodi when."

The EP announcement comes during a short break in Bryan's busy With Heaven on Tour schedule.

The tour began in March and has already included sold-out performances across the United States and Europe. Stadium stops have included Bank of America Stadium, Raymond James Stadium and Memorial Stadium, while overseas dates have taken Bryan through the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands.

The tour resumes later this month with a July 24 show in Eugene, Oregon, before moving to San Diego, Salt Lake City, Denver, Arlington, Glendale, Toronto, Foxborough and Auburn, Alabama.

Bryan's final scheduled performance of the tour is set for Oct. 10 in Auburn.

The singer has remained productive during his break from touring, using YouTube to preview material instead of following a traditional album rollout.

Along with "Lodi When," Bryan recently posted a full performance of another unreleased track, "Better Friends."

Before those releases, Bryan shared "Breakfast in Bed," another song that fans believe could appear on the upcoming EP.

The announcement arrives during one of the biggest years of Bryan's career.

His sixth studio album, With Heaven on Top, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year after selling 130,000 units during its first week. Eighteen songs from the project also reached the Billboard Hot 100.

Bryan later released a full acoustic version of the album only days after the original arrived.

The singer, who first broke through with the hit "Something in the Orange," earned his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single in 2023 with "I Remember Everything" featuring Kacey Musgraves. The song also topped the Hot Country Songs chart and earned Bryan a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Earlier in 2026, Bryan announced he had started a sobriety journey and later married Samantha Sebastian on New Year's Eve.

His recent return to Instagram after previously deactivating the account has also fueled fan speculation that an official release announcement may be close.

Bryan has built a reputation for surprise releases and unconventional rollouts, often sharing songs directly with fans before officially releasing them.

For now, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs remains without a release date, but with multiple songs already circulating online and Bryan back on social media, anticipation continues to grow among fans waiting for his next project.

When the news was announced that Netflix would be doing its own version of Little House on the Prairie, it came with expectations as heavy as all the supplies the Ingalls brought with them on their journey west. The hit novel series by Laura Ingalls Wilder has been one of the most popular book franchises of all time, and the 70s and 80s brought frontier life to our screens with the iconic TV series starring Melissa Gilbert and Michael Landon.

There's a lot weighing on this version of Little House, considering how much it has made an impression on people both on page and screen. And that is certainly the case for showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine.

"I read all the books; I read them over and over again," she reveals to Parade in an exclusive interview. "They were kind of part of my personality. So I think I've actually been planning this my whole life. It's my dream. It kind of inspired me to become a writer and a filmmaker. These books are so vivid that they really created a movie in my mind as a kid. So I can thank Little House on the Prairie for sort of setting me onto my path in life."

That path includes a number of impressive credits for Sonnenshine, including The Vampire Diaries, The Boys and most recently the screenplay for the hit horror filmThe Housemaid. But now she's circling the wagons back to her original inspiration, bringing a new adaptation of the Ingalls and their adventures out west in Kansas. But, despite her extreme familiarity with the source material, she's also not afraid to take some liberties, including crafting brand-new storylines for the other residents of the town of Independence.

Sonnenshine talks with Parade about the scene she had the most difficulty adapting to the screen, creating new plots outside of the Ingalls family, and what to expect from the already-renewed Season 2.

How did you come up with the idea to create your own version of Little House on the Prairie?
It is an incredibly important television series to a lot of people. I fell in love with the books when I was five years old. My cousin gave me her extra copy of it, because I proved to her that I could read, and it sort of set me on this path of being a Little House on the Prairie sort of completist. I read all the books; I read them over and over again. They were kind of part of my personality. When I was misbehaving, my mom would ground me by taking away my books.

So I think I've actually been planning this my whole life. It's my dream. It kind of inspired me to become a writer and a filmmaker. These books are so vivid that they really created a movie in my mind as a kid. So I can thank Little House on the Prairie for sort of setting me onto my path in life.

What was the most difficult part about adapting Little House from page to screen?
Oh my gosh, that is a good question. I think the scene that we worked on the most was when the Osage came into the house, actually. Because we wanted to reframe it from what it was in the books, and we had a lot of discussions about it, and what it would look like, and how we would portray it. And I think we were successful. I'm very happy with what we came to. But it's a huge part of the book, and we wanted to include it, but by sort of shifting the perspective of it.

Talk to me more about that. While the book is obviously from a very specific perspective, the TV series chooses to highlight more of an ensemble around town. There's new storylines around the Osage family, for instance. Dr. Tann and Emily have their own romance. Did you come into this entire process aiming to showcase the characters outside of the Ingalls family?
Yes, absolutely. The books are a little bit limited in their POV, because they're very much through Laura's eyes, which of course we want to absolutely portray in this series. But also we wanted to widen out a little bit and provide some historical context, provide truly fully-realized characters that may have been just a moment in the book, or referred to as something unknowable.

I think one of the great things about adapting a work is that you kind of can make some of the unknowables known to people and really open up this lens on who's who. How did America become America? Who are the people who ended up settling the frontier? Who were the people who already lived on the frontier? It's an interesting question, and I think the time for it now is exciting. Because we have so much information, right, and we have so much new understanding of the world. It's great to bring our characters into that.

At the beginning of the series, we get a bit of a mystery behind why the Ingalls family left Wisconsin. And, through some flashbacks and fever dreams, we find out it was due to the death of Charles's brother George, and him subsequently getting the blame. Talk to me about incorporating this into the story.
We wanted to have a sort of rich and textured family life that they had left behind. It was inspired by Little House in the Big Woods. There is a character of Uncle George, who is his younger brother. He's portrayed in that book as still wearing his uniform and blowing his bugle. He was a drummer boy in the war and as a kid that seems like, "Oh, that's so fun." And as an adult you think feels like maybe that person has some trauma from the war.

And so that's kind of it was definitely inspired by those scenes from the book in Little House in the Big Woods. And then wanting to talk a little bit about the aftermath of the Civil War, and what people were going through, and the discovery of what we would call PTSD, now labeled as melancholia, and tying that into a family secret. It just kind of hit so many great elements that we wanted to explore.

We need to get into how Season 1 ended. We know that Season 2 has already been confirmed. So are we just heading straight to Plum Creek and Walnut Grove?
Yeah. The last scene of the season, you know that they're headed for Walnut Grove and the Olsen General Store, and that they're going to meet those characters. The next season is on the banks of Plum Creek, and it's really exciting.

It should be noted that Edwards is the only person besides the Ingalls family who goes from Kansas to Minnesota. Given what you mentioned earlier about wanting to flesh out the cast of characters, is there a chance we'll see anyone else from Season 1 show up in Walnut Grove?
This show, I hope, runs a long time. And we had such an extraordinary cast. All of those characters were so special and delightful and wonderful, great actors, great people. We don't know. I think that the hope always is that everybody is part of the family now. The Ingalls move around a lot, so you don't know who they're gonna run into!

Keeping up with everything on Netflix is almost like fighting the mythical Hydra. Every time you finish a show, three more seem to pop up in its place. But it's that seemingly unlimited well of content that has made it the most popular streamer today, even amidst the numerous amount of competition. One of the great things about Netflix is not only the wealth of new shows released weekly, but also the ever-growing repository of shows from the past. Indeed, over the years, many long-forgotten series that received little attention in their original runs have found a second life on streaming. Perhaps The Tick will join that list. Based on the hit comic book of the same name, The Tick was a 2001 FOX show that parodied superhero culture long before The Incredibles or The Boys. Starring Patrick Warburton as the titular hero, the show essentially served as a superheroic Seinfeld, known for trading more witty one-liners than punches. Alas, due to its very competitive time slot, The Tick was canceled after only nine episodes, but now the show is available in its entirety on Netflix. So stay away from the ticks outside by checking out The Tick on your couch!

For over a decade, viewers were obsessed with the life and times of the Ingalls family on Little House on the Prairie. Based on the iconic book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, we were taken back a century, watching the trials and tribulations that came with living a “simpler” life on the frontier. Now, Wilder’s work gets brought into the 21st century, as a new adaptation of Little House has come to Netflix. Based on her third book of the same name, which also served as the pilot movie of the original series, the new version comes courtesy of Rebecca Sonnenshine, who recently broke out with her screenplay of The Housemaid. But, even though Little House on the Prairie is now in the streaming era, don’t expect any gruesome bloodshed, or curse words coming out of Laura’s (Alice Halsey) mouth.

The Killers are making a long-awaited return at an event that's bringing plenty of excitement.

The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix announced the return of the rock band to the Padang Stage for the first time in 8 years.

The social media post read, "The #SingaporeGP Padang stage line-up is now complete with THE KILLERS and LANA DEL REY!"

"One of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century, The Killers will make their highly anticipated return to the Padang Stage after eight years, bringing the anthemic sound and electrifying live show that last drew a 60,000-strong crowd 🙌🏼" it continued.

"Between the racing action and over 100 hours of entertainment, the #SingaporeGP is set for one unmissable weekend. Secure your spot now at singaporegp.sg."

The Killers will perform on Oct. 10, while Lana Del Rey will take the stage the following day on Oct. 11.

The weekend, spanning Oct. 9 through the 11, will also see additional performers like JJ Lin, Zara Larsson and James Arthur.

It's one of the few chances to see The Killers in concert in 2026, as frontman Brandon Flowerspreviously announced a solo headlining tour across the UK, Ireland and North America in support of his upcoming album, Trasher.

As for the Singapore Grand Prix, it's one of the most unique and visually stunning races in Formula 1, bringing together high-pressure racing and a festival atmosphere. It's the original night race, which takes place on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, and is considered one of the most physically demanding races due to its tricky street layout running through downtown Singapore.

The Killers aren't new to the F1 circuit, as they previously took the stage at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 launch party on November 05, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

David Martin's "Can't Smile Without You" wasn't the hit everyone expected when it was released, but it became a soft rock anthem when covered by Barry Manilowyears later.

The 1975 soft rock track written by Christian Arnold, Martin, and Geoff Morrow has gone through a few versions since its initial release. When it was released by Martin, the track gained little to no attention. The same occurred when it was recorded in 1976 by the music duo The Carpenters when they released it as part of their album, A Kind of Hush.

Inspiration behind the track varies, with some reports claiming Martin was inspired by a woman named Debbie who appears on the cover with him. According to SongFacts, Martin was inspired by a greeting card his wife showed him. The card had a frown and a teardrop that said: "Can't Smile Without You."

"I was immediately drawn to the slogan, and during the drive home from Hampstead to Harrow, a journey of about 30 minutes, the song was written," he explained.

The song didn't gain traction on the charts until 1978, when Manilow's record label boss, Clive Davis, had him try his own cover. It was included in his Even Now album and was issued by Manilow as a single when his version landed at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Manilow's version of "Can't Smile Without You" made some creative changes to the lyrics and sound after hearing both the Carpenters' and Martin's versions. Fans may notice the slight word changes in Manilow's version compared to the duo's from 1977. Martin's version had a string arrangement that Manilow felt was too simple and soon gave it his own creative flair.

"I decided that I would treat it with a big smile; like a vaudeville piece, with lots of key changes, a whistle in the intro and a real take-home ending," he said in The Complete Collection and Then Some, according to SongFacts. "I had even made plans to include a tap dance solo!"

The tap dance solo never happened and was instead replaced by whistling during the opening of the song. Manilow explained that he "realized that the song was absolutely irresistible and decided to treat it with the same smile, but less silly, and we made a record of it that I'm still proud of to this day."

Despite the creative changed done to the original track, Martin was head over heels for it and said that he "first heard Barry's recording of the song, I realized that his injection of key changes coupled with the feeling of voice made the song speak volumes."

"Can't Smile Without You" would become an anthem in many ways when it became a sports staple sung by fans of English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur since the '70s. Manilow's track also appears in films like Starsky & Hutch, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Unconditional Love, and the series Matlock.

New details are emerging following reports that Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have separated. According to an exclusive report from Us Weekly, Qualley, 31, was the one who initiated the split after the couple experienced ongoing challenges throughout their three-year marriage. The insider pointed to demanding schedules, distance, and trust issues as contributing factors in the marriage’s breakdown.

The pair reportedly tried to make it work as recently as a few months ago. But according to the source, something shifted for Qualley. “At some point, the rose-colored glasses came off,” the insider says, “and she felt she needed to take a step back.” Antonoff, for his part, had reportedly confided in friends that the marriage had grown difficult.

The first public cracks appeared before the news even broke. On July 3, Antonoff showed up solo to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in New York - a notable absence that got people talking. Days later, on July 8, People confirmed the pair had split after three years of marriage. Around the same time, TMZ reported that Qualley had scrubbed wedding photos from her social media.

Yet the picture wasn’t entirely clear-cut: even as breakup rumors swirled, Antonoff was still spotted wearing his wedding ring. (*The couple hadn’t been seen together publicly since the 2026 Grammy Awards in February.)

Qualley and Antonoff met in 2021, got engaged the following year, and married in New Jersey in 2023. Despite the split, the source says there are no divorce plans yet - at least for now.

Forty-seven years ago, Michael Jackson released "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," the lead single from his first LP for Sony Records. The song changed music history by pioneering a sleek, genre-crossing pop-funk style of music that would define his Thriller and Bad eras, allowing him to become a music superstar.

Released on July 28, 1979, the song transformed the former Jackson 5 member into a solo superstar. From the LP Off the Wall, "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" launched him into solo superstardom.

According to Sterogum, Jackson yearned to step out on his own as a solo artist and have some creative control over the music he wrote and recorded. Jackson reportedly called his friend, producer Quincy Jones, asking him to suggest potential collaborators for a solo project, and Jones suggested himself.

Jackson reportedly wrote "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" at home. He recorded a demo version of the song with his brother Randy Jackson playing piano and his sisterJanet Jackson on percussion.

Although Jackson was credited as the sole writer of the track, Jones later revealed that wasn't entirely the case. Speaking with Vulture, the producer pulled back the curtain on the song's true origins, claiming that Jackson actually had a bit of uncredited help from his keyboard player to get that signature groove down.

"Greedy, man. Greedy. “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” — Greg Phillinganes wrote the c section. Michael should’ve given him 10 percent of the song. Wouldn’t do it," Jones claimed.

According to Songfacts, "the chorus contains one of the most misheard vocals ever." The website cites the line, "Keep up with the force... don't stop 'til you get enough."

It has long been rumored that Jackson may have been inspired to write the line after seeing the 1977 film blockbuster, Star Wars. The "force" was a big element of the movie, described as an energy field that brings all living things and galaxies together.

Additionally, Jones called Jackson was a "very special talent" in an interview with CBC News. However, that didn't mean the two strong-willed creatives didn't get into some clashes.

Jones revealed that Jackson sent him a note during the song's production, asking him to remove the violins in its introduction. "It was the identifying line," Jones explained.

"I told him, 'No way. You don't tell me what to do. It ended up on the record. That's one of the strongest parts of the introduction."

The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in October 1979. It remained on the charts for a total of 26 weeks.

"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" would win a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 1980 awards. The song was also nominated for Best Disco Recording, a one-year-only award, but Jackson lost to Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive."

For all the spectacle Christopher Nolan packed into The Odyssey, the story fans can't stop sharing this week happened on a couch. As the film premiered in London on July 6 ahead of its July 17 theatrical release, Zendayaand Tom Holland each told their half of the same story. Namely, she never knew she was being considered for the role of Athena, and her husband was the one who spilled the secret.

Zendaya plays the goddess of wisdom in Nolan's adaptation of Homer's epic, opposite Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope and Holland as the couple's son, Telemachus. But when Holland first landed his part, she assumed the family's good fortune ended there. "I was already on Cloud Nine for him," she recalled on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.

What she didn't know was what happened at her husband's meeting with the director. According to Holland, Nolan ended the conversation with a question: "Would you be offended if I asked Zendaya to play Athena?" Holland assured him he would not be, then asked if he could deliver the news himself. Nolan agreed.

The couple had read the script together the night before that meeting. So when Holland came home and suggested she look at it again, Zendaya was confused. His advice to her was "just read it again, but read Athena really closely." Her reaction, by her own account, was disbelief, followed by the realization that she would be working with a filmmaker she had admired for years. Holland has said that Interstellar is her favorite movie, and that getting to hand her that information felt like a gift he could never properly thank Nolan for.

The Odyssey marks the couple's first movie together since confirming their marriage, and their fifth on-screen collaboration since meeting on Spider-Man: Homecoming, though they share no scenes in Nolan's sprawling ensemble. The scheduling stakes were also very high. Holland previously told GQ that Marvel shifted Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opens July 31, so he could take the Nolan role, putting both halves of the household at the center of two of the summer's biggest releases just two weeks apart.

For a couple famous for guarding their private life, sharing this heartwarming moment with fans is quite a treat. When The Odyssey reaches theaters on July 17, audiences will see the result of a role that a Hollywood wife found out about from her Hollywood husband, at home.

Natasha Bedingfield is back on the charts in a major way nearly 25 years after beginning her music career.

The British singer-songwriter's debut album, Unwritten, has re-entered the Billboard Global 200 chart at No. 175, marking another chapter in the surprising revival of one of the most recognizable pop albums of the 2000s. The album previously reached a peak position of No. 20 on the chart and has now spent 62 weeks on the Billboard Global 200.

The chart return comes more than two decades after Bedingfield started her professional music journey in 2001 and more than 20 years after Unwritten was first released in 2004 in the United Kingdom.

The renewed interest has helped introduce Bedingfield's music to a younger audience while bringing longtime fans back to the songs that first made her a global star.

Released in September 2004, Unwritten became Bedingfield's debut studio album and quickly turned into an international success.

The record debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and eventually earned triple platinum certification in the United Kingdom. By 2013, it had sold one million copies in the country alone. Worldwide sales later climbed to 2.3 million copies.

The album also reached the top 10 in several European countries and entered the top 30 in North America and Japan. In the United States, the album peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard 200 and later earned Gold certification.

Bedingfield co-wrote every song on the album while working alongside producers and songwriters including Danielle Brisebois, Guy Chambers, Steve Kipner, Andrew Frampton, Peter Wade Keusch and Wayne Wilkins.

Several singles from the album became major hits. "Single" reached No. 3 in the United Kingdom, while "These Words" gave Bedingfield her first UK No. 1 single. The album's title track, "Unwritten," became her highest-charting song in the United States, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming the second most-played song on American radio in 2006.

The success of Unwritten also helped earn Bedingfield multiple Brit Award nominations and a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for the title track.

The resurgence of Unwritten has been building for several years.

The title song gained renewed attention after appearing in the 2023 romantic comedyAnyone but You. It also spread widely across TikTok, where users embraced the song's uplifting message and memorable chorus, according to Irish Examiner.

The renewed popularity has translated into streaming growth, festival appearances and chart momentum for Bedingfield's catalog.

Today, Bedingfield has sold more than 20 million records worldwide and remains one of the defining pop voices of the 2000s.

With Unwritten once again climbing the charts and reaching new listeners around the world, the singer's biggest breakthrough album continues to prove its lasting appeal more than two decades after it first arrived.

What is The Hawk About?

Playing golfer Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, Will Ferrell, 58, appears in the teaser trailer for The Hawk in a hot pink golf shirt with bright blonde curly hair that sticks out of a visor bearing his name. A voice-over can be heard saying, “This summer, a legend returns. An icon. A champion. An American hero.” As Hawkins mouths along, the voice-over continues: “His name: Lonnie ‘The Hawk’ Hawkins.”

Hawkins continues by saying, “That’s me. I’m him. That’s who they’re talking about. If you were wondering.”

Set to debut on July 16, the official description of the series reads as follows:

“Lonnie’s return to the world stage comes more than two decades after his seminal 2004 season. When needing the perfect jam during the hot summer months, soft rock duo Seals & Crofts developed "Summer Breeze" in 1972 after a few years of trying to get it off the ground.

By the early '70s, Seals & Croft had already released a studio album under Warner Bros. before they started working on their next release, Summer Breeze. Sadly, the duo had yet to make an impact on the charts with a standout single until they reworked a longtime idea, "Summer Breeze."

Jim Seals had written the lyrics to the track in 1970 about memories from his childhood neighborhood. The duo tried several times to bring the track to life, but couldn't until working on their fourth album. Session bassist Harvey Brooks would end up helping Seals & Crofts find the right rhythm.

"A very simple song about a man coming home from work and hearing the dog barking and things like that, and to a lot of people the song's about looking for security. Our meaning goes further than that, for a prison can be the prison of self and a person can become insecure and paranoid if he doesn't have a direction in his personal life," said Seals about the track, according to SongFacts.

"Summer Breeze" would end up being the hit that Seals & Croft needed when it reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No.4 on the Adult Contemporary chart. The song's climb up the charts wasn't smooth sailing when it was first released.

According to American Songwriter, the rock duo took promoting their track into their own hands while on tour. They hand-delivered "Summer Breeze" to the most popular DJs in Boston and soon got constant radio airplay.

Critics praised the track, calling it "one of those relentlessly appealing 1970s harmony-rock anthems." Two years later, it even led the Isles Brothers to release their own cover of the song with a harder rock edge. Their version did moderately well on the charts and landed at No. 10 on Billboard's Hot Soul Singles chart.

In the mid 1990's, "Summer Breeze" was covered again by the gothic metal band Type O Negative, with reworked lyrics by frontman Peter Steele. Seals & Crofts found the content of the lyrics distasteful, leading Steele to sing the original words of the song.

While Prince Harry's visit to the U.K. has been met with drama and tension amid estrangement with his family and a disappointing end to his lawsuit with the publisher of the Daily Mail, he managed to have a lighter moment on Friday morning in a TV segment with a fan-favorite interviewer.

In a segment on the U.K.'s morning show, This Morning, which was covering the preview event of the royal's Invictus Games in 2027, Prince Harry and TV personality Alison Hammond, known for her bubbly and energetic presence — and hilarious viral interviews with the likes of Harrison Ford, Ryan GoslingandHugh Grant — geared up to participate in a race briefing. The pair's interaction, however, stole the show.

"Hi Harry!" she said giggling to the camera. "He's ignored me so far but I'm styling it out."

The royal then came over to her and gave her a big hug.

"Nice to see you," he said, which resulted in Hammond completely fangirling.

The clip, posted to Instagram, garnered tons of comments praising Hammond for her light approach to chatting with Harry amid the whirlwind of criticism he regularly receives from the press. The host and the royal also had an additional interview, where he said, "You're very excitable, I love that," and even complimented her hoop earrings.

Comments on the interview included:

• "Thank you, @ThisMorning, for covering Invictus so positively," one commenter said. "It can be difficult to watch Prince Harry face constant criticism from parts of the media, so it was refreshing to see such positive reporting for a change."

The Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry in 2014, is an international sporting event for wounded veterans. Chatting about how the organization has impacted its participants, Harry at one point interrupted himself and said, "I'm one of your secret admirers," complimenting Hammond, who has also hosted series TheGreat British Bake Off.

"By the way, my kids love Junior Bake Off, absolutely love it," he said. "It's far better than the grown-up version." To which Hammond invited him to appear on the show.

While it was notable that his wife Meghan Markle was missing from the event, amid ongoing concerns of security for his family, he did mention the former actress, along with their kids, at another point in the chat.

"I'm proud of them. They're proud of me. I love my family," he said.

The chummy interview concluded with Hammond inviting him over to her house later in the day and him promising that she's welcome at the Invictus Games next year, which will take place in her hometown of Birmingham, England.

"Of course you have to be there. I'd be disappointed if you weren't there," he said.

In a perfect world, you’d wake up in the morning right before your alarm goes off (hey, we said a perfect world), drink a glass of water and have a satisfying bowel movement before going about the rest of your day. It’s certainly better than when the urge to go number two hits at work or while you’re out and about. 

Not everyone is a morning pooper, and that’s okay. It’s considered normal to poop anywhere from three times a day to three times a week. If you’re falling in that range and aren’t experiencing any distressing G.I. symptoms, your pooping habits are nothing to lose sleep over.

But if you’re regularly dealing with constipation, that’s when it’s helpful to consider making changes to your diet. “Constipation is often multifactorial, but the most common lifestyle-related reasons are not getting enough fiber, not drinking enough fluids, not moving enough, travel or routine changes, ignoring the urge to go and eating a lot of low-fiber foods,” registered dietitian Johannah Katz, RD, tells Parade.

Besides these common reasons, Katz says that other potential causes of constipation include taking certain medications (like antidepressants or opioids), supplements (such as iron), having irritable bowel syndrome, hypothyroidism, diabetes, pelvic floor dysfunction and having an intestinal obstruction. 

Sometimes, something as simple as changing what you eat for dinner can help with morning constipation. With that in mind, keep reading to find out what registered dietitians recommend eating for your last meal of the day if you want to poop in the morning.

The Best Dinner To Help You Poop in the Morning

If you want to poop in the morning, there’s one nutrient you absolutely want to make sure you have on your plate at dinner: fiber. “Americans don't get enough fiber,” says Dr. Theresa DeLorenzo, DCN, RD, a registered dietitian and adjunct professor at Russell Sage College and SUNY Oneonta. Not getting enough fiber is a primary cause of constipation.

With this in mind, Dr. DeLorenzo recommends devoting one-fourth of your dinner to fiber-rich foods, such as vegetables and whole grains. Ideally, vegetables will make up half of what you’re eating for dinner. “Any vegetables work, and they can be cooked or raw. Corn works really well,” she tells Parade.

Besides vegetables, lentils, black beans, brown rice and quinoa are all fiber-rich foods to consider eating for dinner. “Beans and lentils are especially helpful because they provide both fiber and resistant starch, which can support stool bulk and gut bacteria,” Katz explains.

What you’re drinking matters too. Katz emphasizes that drinking enough water is key to avoiding constipation and keeping the digestive tract functioning properly. So, make sure you’re drinking water throughout the day, including with your dinner.

Now that you have fiber covered, Dr. DeLorenzo suggests making sure your dinner includes protein. Some fiber-rich sources already cover this base. (Lentils, beans, chickpeas and tofu are all high in both protein and fiber.) Lean protein and seafood are great protein options too.

After dinner, Katz says that it can be helpful to have a kiwi for dessert; the fruit is notorious for helping with constipation in a gentle way. 

Foods and Drinks To Skip at Dinner To Avoid Morning Constipation

Similarly to how some foods can help constipation, some foods can make it worse. Both registered dietitians say that alcohol can be disruptive to the digestive system. “Too much alcohol during and after dinner can lead to dehydration that can cause constipation. Have your glass of wine if you like, but make sure to have a glass of water after each glass of wine,” Dr. DeLorenzo says.

If your dinner only consists of simple carbohydrates and cheese (such as macaroni and cheese or pizza), you can expect to experience some constipation in the morning, according to Katz.

The same goes for meat-centric meals that don’t include any vegetables or other sources of fiber. One easy fix: Mix zucchini noodles in with your pasta. That way, you can still have your cheesy pasta but you’re still getting some fiber.

Other Habits That Help With Constipation  

In addition to being mindful of what you’re eating, both experts say that finding a gentle way to move your body after dinner can help with avoiding constipation and support morning poops. This could look like going for a walk, or doing some light yoga or stretches.

“A gentle after-dinner walk can help because physical activity supports gut motility, which is the movement of food and stool through the digestive tract. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases recommends regular physical activity as part of constipation prevention and treatment. A 2025 study also found that walking increased markers of gut motility shortly after activity in healthy adults, although more research is needed in people with constipation,” Katz says. 

If you want to poop in the morning, your morning routine matters too.

“Eating breakfast can trigger the gastrocolic reflex, and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases notes that trying to have a bowel movement 15 to 45 minutes after breakfast may help because eating helps the colon move stool," she explains. "So the best strategy is usually a high-fiber dinner, drinking enough fluids, going on a short walk and having a calm morning routine where you give yourself time to go."

If you’ve increased the amount of fiber you’re consuming, are staying hydrated and are exercising regularly, but you’re still experiencing regular constipation after one month, Dr. DeLorenzo says that’s an indicator that you should see a gastroenterologist. That way, you can work together to pinpoint the cause and troubleshoot from there. 

Morning poops can’t happen if you’re not getting enough fiber at dinner, so if you want to go in the morning, up your intake of the nutrient. It’s the number one tip you’ll hear from any registered dietitian or G.I. doc.
