Kay Adams Tells Martha Stewart She's 'Whatever' About Getting Married
Fan-favorite sports commentator Kay Adams is taking Super Bowl LX week by storm with her NFL coverage on her Up & Adams Show before the big game. Though her biggest focus is on sports and the players, things turned personal during a Feb. 6 interview with Martha Stewart, who gave her some surprising relationship advice.
"I heard you say you don't you don't need a man," Adams said during the chat, after the 84-year-old said she's enamored with actor Tom Hardy. "I don't I don't actually need a man," Stewart insisted. "But but men are nice."

That's when Stewart turned her attention to Adam's much-talked-about love life. "Are you married?" she asked the beautiful 39-year-old. "No," Adams responded curtly. When asked why not, she elaborated, "I'm kind of like you, [Martha]. Like, oh, whatever."
While Stewart never remarried after her 1987 separation and subsequent divorce from her husband Andrew Stewart, she insisted Adams needs to find a life partner. "You're too young not to want to be married," she said. "You better get married."

When a surprised Adams asked why, Stewart answered, "I just think every woman should experience marriage and you should experience having a child. You have to have a child."
"I have to?" asked Adams before requesting Stewart's advice for finding Mr. Right. "You're you're surrounded. Look at this place, like 99% men," said the cookbook author. "There's somebody out there for you!"
Does Kay Adams Have a Boyfriend?Though Adams teased that "Nobody really gets [her] attention," she has opened up recently about being ready to settle down. While many fans have speculated about whether or not she has a boyfriend and who it might be, it sounds like she really hasn't had time for dating at all. In November 2025, she opened up about her changing attitude toward relationships on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast.

“I think I haven’t known what I’ve wanted," she admitted to hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, adding, "I think I’m always in survival mode of what’s next, how am I gonna survive and advance, that’s a life thing... The truth is, I have realized that I have very little experience dating."
But now, she's "very happy with where" she is in life. "I’m settled, I’m a little more calm, like I feel a little more able to be there for someone else," she said.
So, what is she looking for in a future husband? "There’s nothing better than banter, and I have that with so few people," she said. "I would say the loyalty. I need to feel secure. I need somebody who makes me feel secure. So loyalty is more important than anything. And I’m a very loyal person."
Adams has kept mum on past romances, but in 2024, she clapped back at speculation she was dating Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones after jokingly calling him her "boyfriend" to New York Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor on Up & Adams.
“I’m not dating Daniel Jones — breaking, breaking news — I’ve met him all of two times, wish him the best, I’m pretty sure he has a girlfriend,” she said on the 25/10 Show.
Tanya Tucker Reveals Her ‘Only Regret’ About the Death of 1 of Her ‘Very Best Friends’
Tanya Tucker is mourning the loss of her friend and assistant Teresa “T” Martin.
“Saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do!” the country music singer, 67, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 6. “T Martin was my assistant for years. She and her husband Glen (great songwriter) and stepson Boy Troy have been many miles on the bus and across the water in Europe!”
Tucker went on to praise her friend, listing some of her best qualities and emphasizing how much their relationship meant to her.
“She was a warrior and one of the hardest workers I’ve known. She was one of my very best friends,” she continued. “Whatever she did for me, she did with love and a kind soft voice. I treasure the years we had together.”
Tucker then admitted that she wished she had been present for Martin’s funeral on Friday.
“My only regret is I wasn’t there this morning when she got her wings,” she concluded. “Goodbye my friend. I’ll see you again!”
According to an online obituary, Martin “passed away peacefully” on January 22. She was 78.
“In the music industry, Teresa and her husband were co-owners of Co-Heart Music Group, located on Music Row. Affectionately known to many as ‘Momma T’ she was also widely respected for her work as road manager for country music icon Tanya Tucker,” the obituary read. “Whether managing a business or life on the road, ‘T’ was a steady force behind the scenes; fiercely protective, deeply loyal and unwavering in her commitment. Her nickname was earned through the care, guidance and strength she extended to those she considered family, both professionally and personally.”
Amid her unspecified illness, Martin was “cared for with great love by three devoted caregivers” and Alive Hospice, who “provided her comfort and companionship during this difficult journey.”
“Teresa will be remembered for her resilience, her larger-than-life personality and the profound impact she had across many chapters of her life,” the obituary stated. “Her zest for life was evident in everything she did and she embraced each moment with enthusiasm and determination.”
Martin’s funeral was held in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday followed by a graveside burial service.

My Chef-Husband Cracked the Code to the Best-Ever Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas
I dare anyone to challenge me on the greatest Super Bowl snack of all time: buffalo chicken dip. It's creamy, it's chunky, it's slightly spicy—or atomic, depending on how hot you like your buffalo sauce—and impossible to stop eating. Served with your dipper of choice (tortilla scoops for me, thanks), it's a warm, cozy dip that's always the star of the game-day buffet spread.
My chef-husband, Luke, knows I'm buffalo chicken obsessed. Buff chix tendies are my love language, but I will take my saucy poultry favorite any way I can get it: in a wrap, on a salad, on a flatbread... the list goes on and on. So when he asked what variation of buffalo chicken we should make for the Super Bowl this year, my heart skipped a beat when he said, "What about buffalo quesadillas?" YES! I screamed, already in love with the idea.
Quesadillas have become our go-to solution for leftovers lately. If you have cheese and tortillas on hand, you can literally fill them with any other meat and veggies, fold 'em up and dig in.
Were buffalo chicken dip quesadillas the Super Bowl touchdown I’d been missing my entire life? I was 1,000% convinced before Luke even got to work on them, but here's his start-to-finish process that takes all of 20 minutes, so you won't miss a second of the big game.

He might be a chef, but when Luke is short on time and stressed about being stuck in the kitchen once the game starts, he does what any home cook would do and leans into shortcuts. Time savers that don't skimp on flavor are key to planning a delicious, doable Super Bowl menu.
Rather than make his own buffalo chicken strips (battering, frying, saucing, etc.), he opted for Wegmans Buffalo-Style Smoked Chicken Thighs. They're boneless, which made shredding a cinch, and they're smoked over hickory wood for a fire-kissed vibe and flavor.
After the chicken, he also grabbed a wedge of nice blue cheese (Point Reyes ftw!), a pack of extra-large burrito tortillas, a bottle of buffalo sauce, sour cream, a few celery stalks, scallions and a bunch of fresh cilantro. Easy-peasy. Oh, and avocado oil spray, for getting that golden brown quesadilla sear just right.

How to Make Buffalo Chicken QuesadillasNow comes the fun part: Making the dip. Reaching for the largest bowl we have, Luke gets to work shredding the buffalo chicken. Because it was just the two of us, he used about half of the one-pound package, but if you're making this for a crowd, use the whole thing.
Once the shredded chicken was set, he crumbled in about 1/2 cup of blue cheese. Now, a note from Luke on blue cheese. Although you can save even more time buying blue cheese crumbles, he would never. "Pre-crumbled cheese usually has additives in it to preserve the shelf life. And why bother when crumbling your own takes all of two seconds?" he tells me. Buying a wedge of blue cheese means you can get the good stuff and that the texture will be better, too.
After the cheese, it's time for sour cream and ranch. About 1 cup and a 1/4 cup for those, respectively, but really, you can eyeball it.

View the 3 images of this gallery on the original articleAfter that, it's time for the star of the show: the buffalo sauce. Luke pours in a few hefty glugs, then gives everything a good stir with a spatula, making sure everything is evenly mixed.
Courtesy Kelli Acciardo Venner
Now it's time to assemble. Luke takes a tortilla and spreads a thick layer on one half of the tortilla, being careful to avoid going too close to the edges. You want the quesadillas to be fully stuffed, but you don't want the filling to squeeze out of the sides.
Next, he folds the other half of the tortilla on top of the chicken mixture and presses down so everything is nice and compact. He repeats that with two more tortillas while he heats up a skillet over medium-high.

Giving the hot pan an ample spray of avocado oil, he places two crescent moons inside for about 2-3 minutes until they're golden brown on one side, then he flips each to crisp up on the other side.

Once the quesadillas are golden brown on the outside and warm and melty inside, he transfers them to a cutting board and slices them into neat triangles. He arranges them in an artful pile on a platter and roughly tears the celery leaves off the top of the stalks to use as garnish.
"Chef-husband secret move," he winks, sprinkling sliced scallions and cilantro leaves across the celery. "Garnish salad for the quesadillas."
And with that final step, they were ready.

My Honest Thoughts About My Chef-Husband's Buffalo Chicken QuesadillasBest snack ever? I think I devoured two wedges in seconds and went back for a third a minute later. Not only is buffalo chicken dip the greatest mashup for quesadillas, but you don’t even have to bother reaching for a chip or a hunk of bread to scoop up the cheesy chicken—because all the work is done for you in these easy-to-hold, toasty triangles.
Buffalo sauce and blue cheese are the ultimate pairing to me—and I love extra blue cheese on the side. So the only part of this recipe I questioned was the ranch. You could easily swap that for blue cheese if it’s more your jam (like mine). And serve extra on the side.
Appalled, Luke looked at me in shock when I went to pour a little sidecar of ranch.
“The sauce is already baked in,” he lamented. “You don’t need that.”
“What about a little herby green goddess for good measure?” I persisted.
“No. Perfect as is.”
And after a few more bites—being extra careful to load each one with the celery leaf–scallion garnish he had generously sprinkled over the platter—I had to agree.
Super Bowl or regular Tuesday, sports or not, these ’dillas are going into regular rotation from now on.

4 Chef-Husband Tips for Making Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas1. Say no to cold sour creamTaking the sour cream out of the fridge and letting it sit on the counter for a few minutes helps it soften a bit, which will make it much easier to mix into the dip. If there's any liquid in the container when you open it, just stir it in so the sour cream is smooth.
2. Buy a bold buffalo sauceThe sauce is a key ingredient here, so be sure to pick up one you love. One of Luke's personal favorites is Jake's Grillin' Buffalo Wing Sauce, which you can find on Amazon (or you might be able to pick up a bottle at Wegmans, as we did). Crafted from cayenne pepper, freshly ground coffee beans, a splash of honey, garlic, onion and spices, it's hot sauce leveled all the way up—but it's not so insanely spicy that your mouth will be on fire.
3. Get fresh with the garnishQuesadillas are often served with a creamy dipping sauce, but because that's baked into the recipe here, a little freshness is in order. Celery leaves (from the celery stalks you might have in the house already for your Super Bowl snacking) make a tasty, pretty and delicious garnish. Luke adds in fresh cilantro leaves and some sliced green onions for a mini salad topper. It adds a bright flavor to the dish and is an easy way to dress up this simple snack. You've gotta love an easy chef-husband upgrade!
4. Keep the avocado oil spray closeYou’re going to need to add a bit of high-heat oil (Luke likes avocado oil) every time you flip, so make sure it's close by when you start cooking. A spray version makes things even easier—Luke's go-to is La Tourangelle.

San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle, Atlanta Falcons’ Bijan Robinson, and Philadelphia Eagles’ Jordan Mailata wowed fans as they belted out the iconic 80s song "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. Devine is his stellar self per usual, but it’s the NFL players who really stole the show.
The performance was courtesy of Marriott Bonvoy, which shared the video on Instagram.

Super Bowl 60 airs on Sunday, February 8, with Green Day kicking off the festivities and Bad Bunny performing the halftime show.
Meet Celimar Rivera Cosme: The Puerto Rican Sign Language Performer Joining Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl
Meet Celimar Rivera Cosme, the Puerto Rican sign language performer making history alongside Bad Bunnyat the Super Bowl LX halftime show.
Rivera Cosme is a Puerto Rican Deaf performer and sign language interpreter who will bring a groundbreaking element of accessibility and cultural representation to the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime performance. In a first for the event, the halftime show will feature a multilingual signing program that includes Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR)—distinct from American Sign Language in grammar, rhythm, and cultural nuance—and Rivera Cosme is leading it.
"In a historic first, the signed rendition of the Apple Music Halftime Show will feature a multilingual signing program incorporating Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by Deaf Puerto Rican performer Celimar Rivera Cosme," an NFL release confirmed.
Rivera Cosme isn't just interpreting the lyrics, however; she's performing them. She has described her approach as more than literal translation.
"Interpretation is one thing, but I'm not going there to interpret; I'm going to perform," she told ABC News. "In Puerto Rico, we're very used to seeing interpreters everywhere. But the Super Bowl is different. You have to add your flow, your vibe, your style, and your attitude, and bring all of that together with the interpretation. The body's movement is different."
Rivera Cosme incorporates storytelling, rhythm, and expressive movement to reflect the music's energy and emotional depth, blending interpretation with performative artistry. Her overall style mirrors the intensity of Bad Bunny's reggaeton and Latin music, making the signing itself part of the artistic experience.
View this post on InstagramHer journey with Bad Bunny began years ago, when she interpreted for him on major tours like his 2022 World's Hottest Tour and his El Choli residency in Puerto Rico. It was there that her work gained wide recognition among Deaf and hearing audiences alike.
Rivera Cosme has spoken openly about the pride and responsibility she feels representing the Puerto Rican Deaf community on one of the world's biggest entertainment stages. She hopes her presence not only makes the performance accessible to Deaf fans but also brings broader visibility to LSPR culture.
"I feel incredibly proud because everything that Bad Bunny is doing is making history," Rivera Cosme told ABC News. "And it means that sign language is also going to make history there. The most important thing is to emphasize that we have our own language, our own identity, and our own culture."
She added that she not only wants to make history with this performance herself, but that she wants to lift her community up alongside her.
"I will be doing the performance, but what I'm truly bringing with me is the Deaf community of Puerto Rico and our language, LSPR," she wrote in an Instagram post, kissing the Puerto Rican flag. "All of us will shine."

I’m a Gastroenterologist—This Is the Worst Way To ‘Fix’ Bloating
Bloating is more than just an uncomfortable feeling; it can be truly disruptive to one’s daily life, even leading to skipping out on activities you love. (Ever try doing yoga when it feels like you have a balloon in your belly? Not fun.)
“Bloating is that tight, ‘puffy,’ gassy feeling in the belly. For some people, it comes and goes. For others, it happens most days,” saysDr. Jason Korenblit, MD, a gastroenterologist with JustAnswer. While bloating can be extremely uncomfortable, Dr. Korenblit notes that the good news is that, except for very rare occasions, it’s not dangerous.
There are many possible causes for bloating. Dr. Korenblit says that swallowing air (which can happen if you’re talking fast, chewing gum, drinking a carbonated drink or drinking through a straw), constipation, food intolerance (such as lactose intolerance), hormonal changes (he notes that many women feel bloated before or during their period), food fermentation (which can occur after eating foods that are hard to digest) and stress can all cause bloating.
If bloating is something you’re experiencing on a regular basis, it’s a good idea to see a gastroenterologist so you can work together to pinpoint the root causes. If you are trying to treat your bloating on your own, there’s one popular fix that gastroenterologists warn against. Keep reading to find out what it is and to see what you should do instead.

If you’re dealing with bloating regularly, you may think the best way to get to the bottom of it is to cut out a food group that you suspect is the cause. “A lot of people try cutting out whole food groups one at a time to ‘test’ what’s causing their bloating,” Dr. Korenblit tells Parade. But it’s best to avoid doing this if you aren’t receiving guidance from a healthcare professional.
“I always counsel my patients not to cut out major food categories without speaking with a registered dietitian,” says Dr. Trisha Pasricha, MD, MPH, a gastroenterologist, assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and author of You’ve Been Pooping All Wrong. Without guidance, Dr. Pasricha adds that it can be difficult to get all the nutrients the body needs when an entire food group has been cut out.
Dr. Pasricha explains that while, sometimes, a gastroenterologist may recommend a more limited diet as a way to pinpoint what’s causing bloating, it’s not meant to be a long-term solution.
That said, there are times when cutting out certain specific types of ingredients may be helpful. Dr. Paul Feuerstadt, MD, FACG, AGAF, a gastroenterologist, member of the board of directors at the Peggy Lillis Foundation and an associate clinical professor at Yale School of Medicine, says that removing artificial sweeteners or high-fructose content from one’s diet is a great starting point for treating mild bloating.

According to Dr. Feuerstadt, it can also be helpful to remove one food (or ingredient) at a time, but warns against removing more than one at a time. “If you remove multiple things at once, then you can’t pinpoint what did or did not help."
The takeaway here is that while removing one specific ingredient or food at a time may be helpful, it’s important to avoid cutting entire food categories without the guidance of a doctor or dietitian.

What To Do InsteadIf the bloating you’re experiencing is a one-off and not something that happens regularly, Dr. Feuerstadt recommends taking an over-the-counter medication, such as GAS-X or Beano. “These [medications] can break up a gas bubble into smaller bubbles that are easier for your system to absorb. This also makes you more comfortable since the gas is not in one segment of your bowel and stretching it, causing discomfort,” he says, adding that this is a short-term solution.
Some other in-the-moment bloating solutions that can help, according to Dr. Korenblit, include going for a short walk, drinking ginger tea and avoiding carbonated beverages.
If you are experiencing bloating regularly, schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist. Prior to your appointment, Dr. Korenblit recommends keeping a food diary. “Track when bloating happens, what you ate, your bowel habits, sleep and stress levels,” he says. This can be a helpful tool to share with your gastroenterologist during your appointment.
Dr. Pasricha emphasizes that you shouldn’t feel self-conscious or embarrassed about talking about bloating with your doctor. “People brush it off as ‘just bloating,’ but it can genuinely affect your quality of life–your clothing choices, your body image, your willingness to go out and enjoy meals with the people you love. You deserve to get help,” she says.
With some guidance from a trained doctor, you’ll be so glad you did.

Lindt Truffle Flavor Fans Praise as a ‘Must’ Earns Wider Release
Lindt is bringing back a beloved seasonal Lindor Truffle flavor and this year, it'll be even easier to find.
While some fans wait patiently for the brand's gold-foil-wrapped bunnies to begin lining store shelves and signaling the close arrival of spring, others are banking on the return of a once extremely limited truffle flavor. If you guessed Blood Orange, you'd be wrong (thankfully, that flavor isn't seasonal; it's still incredibly hard to come by, but so worth the search, if you ask us).
The Easter-exclusive product in question is Lindt Lindor Carrot Cake Truffles, which may sound like an unusual flavor, but last year it had fans squealing, "take my money."
Lindt Lindor Easter Carrot Cake Truffles Land at Even More Retailers This YearThe confection, clearly inspired by the star of the season, was previously exclusive to Target stores—not this year, though.

According to an official statement shared with Parade on Thursday, Feb. 5, the Lindor Carrot Cake Truffles will be available at most major retailers nationwide soon. Some fans have already spotted them in stores, and they couldn't be more excited (despite the fact that we haven't even made it through Valentine's Day yet).
Lindt Lindor Carrot Cake Truffle returnsL
"LIMITED EDITION Lindor CARROT CAKE! 🥕🍰🐇," one eagle-eyed fan wrote alongside an image they took of the returning favorite on shelves at a Walmart store in Canada. "The Easter Bunny is coming!"
"WHERE DO WE FIND THESE?" a second exclaimed before a third chimed in, saying they "need this right now."
"My fav cake," someone else shared.
"If you see these you must get them," a fourth said, tagging a friend.
One more begged the release to go overseas, gushing that they "neeeed this in the uk!!"
For those who may be new to the flavor, the beloved seasonal variety features Lindt's "irresistibly smooth" signature white chocolate truffle shell that's been stuffed with a spice-filled chocolate carrot cake creme.
From what Parade understands, the carrot-cake-flavored chocolate truffles will be available across the U.S. and, apparently, in Canada, wherever other Lindt favorites are sold (CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, and more) for a limited time this season (prices vary).
Other seasonal offers shoppers will find on shelves this spring include Lindt's original gold foil wrapped chocolate bunnies and two fun new twists on the classic (bite-sized versions filled with either a creamy milk chocolate or "a luxurious hazelnut and crisp filling"). The brand is also launching an all-new Dubai Style Chocolate Egg, which fans expect to be nothing short of "amazing."

Controversial Country Star Weighs in on Super Bowl LX’s Rival Halftime Show: ‘I’m Gonna Watch’
Gavin Adcock may not be on the bill for Turning Point USA’s All-American Super Bowl Half-Time Show, but he is throwing his support behind the event and its headliners, which includeKid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Gabby Barrett, and Lee Brice.
During an interview on Friday, Feb. 6, Adcock, 27, was asked about his thoughts on the planned spectacle, which will serve as a secondary choice to those who won’t be catching Bad Bunny’s upcoming NFL Halftime performance at Super Bowl LX.
“I support whatever they want to do,” Adcock told Fox News Digital, making his approval for the secondary option loud and clear.
The Country Star Will Be Attending Super Bowl LXHe also kept his stance neutral, sharing that while he does support the rival entertainment, he plans to attend the NFL matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Sunday, Feb. 8.
He Has Never Been to a Super Bowl Before“I’m gonna be at the game. I’m gonna watch the other Super Bowl halftime,” he shared before, adding, “But I love Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, all those people. So, everybody's gonna have a good time, wherever they’re at.”
This will be Adcock’s first time attending a Super Bowl, and he shared his enthusiasm for the big game as well as the team he favors to win.
“This is my first Super Bowl I’m ever going to, and I’m blessed to get some hot dog tickets, and I hope the Seahawks beat the Patriots a**,” he said.
He Believes Sports and Entertainment Go Hand in HandWhile Adcock doesn’t object to a secondary halftime show during NFL programming, he says that the blending of live entertainment with sports resonates personally, reflecting how he was raised.
“I think it’s awesome!” he exclaimed. “I was an athlete until 2021, and then I dove headfirst into music. A lot of people in music come from athletic backgrounds—that’s where they learn the discipline and drive that help them climb.”
Adcock was available to chat about the subject while appearing on the blue carpet for the EA Sports Presents Madden Bowl, which took place at the Chase Center in San Francisco and included Zach Bryan, Teddy Swims, Stephen Wilson Jr., and LaRussell.
“I’ve never played in California too much,” Adcock said. “I’ve had one tour over here. I’m just spreading my music to a bunch of people that maybe never heard it before and having a few drinks, having a good time, and watching the Super Bowl.”
Those wishing to catch TPUSA’s All-American Super Bowl Half-Time Show can stream the performances on the brand’s official YouTube page, X, and Rumble Channels. It is also available on partner platforms, including Daily Wire+, Real America's Voice, TBN, CHARGE!, and OAN News. The show broadcasts on Feb. 8 — the same day as Super Bowl LX.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Super Bowl takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., with kickoff beginning at 6:30 ET. The game will air on NBC with streaming available on Peacock, DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and Hulu + Live TV. Bad Bunny will serve as the halftime entertainment.
Savannah Guthrie’s Mom's Case Enters Critical Phase and Retired NYPD Sergeant Talks Troubling Red Flags (Exclusive)
The search for Nancy Guthrie is on day seven and her whereabouts are still unknown.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Parade spoke to retired NYPD sergeant Joe Giacalone who worked for the department for more than 20 years. With reports that the FBI is now taking the lead in the case, Giacalone helped break down some of the most asked questions we've been seeing on social media.
For starters, Parade asked Giacalone about the aforementioned shift in the investigation. He explained that if the FBI has in fact taken over the case, it could mean one of two things. It could mean that there is evidence that whoever has Nancy "has crossed state lines," or it could mean that there's evidence that Nancy is "no longer with us"—or both.
Authorities believe that Guthrie may have been abducted from her home in Arizona in the middle of the night on Sunday, Feb. 1. Within a couple of days, an unverified ransom note was sent to a variety of media outlets, including TMZ.
Related: Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom Latest: Donald Trump Says New Info ‘Could Be Definitive’
Giacalone says that this set off "red flags from the beginning." He explained that there's obviously only one person in the Guthrie family that could pay millions of dollars (in bitcoin or otherwise) and that's Nancy's daughter, Today anchor Savannah Guthrie. So, Parade asked Giacalone why someone would go to the media with a ransom request and not directly to the family.
"By not going directly to her and directly to the family is is odd in so many ways. You know, choosing TMZ, they knew exactly what they were going to do with it, right? They knew it was going to get plastered everywhere. So, you know, if somebody who is aware of the power of social media and what TMZ does...," Giacalone says.
As for whether or not these ransom notes could be a red herring, Giacalone acknowledges that anything is possible at this point in time.
"Investigators are going to take these serious no matter what. And they have the capability of being able to investigate this as a potential, viable situation, or they can also rule it out as a potential hoax. We've already got one person found out and arrested," Giacalone says, referencing the arrest of Derrick Callella, who admitted to sending a phony ransom request to the Guthrie family, unrelated to the note sent to media stations.

Parade also spoke with Giacalone about the current timeline and just how crucial things get as we head into one week without any proof that Nancy is alive.
"It's really the first hour, we refer to it as the golden hour," Giacalone says. "That's the most important thing that first hour [when someone is reported missing]."
In today's world, Giacalone points out, many cases are solved by help of "video surveillance, cell phone records, and internet records." Giacalone believes that's where the focus is now—seeing what evidence comes by way of cameras in the neighborhood or even at nearby businesses.
Based on what's transpired over the past 24 hours, Giacalone believes that the case will be solved "in the next 24 to 48 hours" if he had to guess.
When asked if Giacalone thinks Nancy will be found, he was confident in his reply. "They will find her," he says.
For more updates from Giacalone, you can follow him on X. You can also tune in to his podcast, True Crime With the Sarge.

Bad Bunny Admits to Being Both Eager and 'Nervous' Ahead of the Super Bowl
Bad Bunny sat down with Telemundo ahead of his Super Bowl LX halftime show, admitting that he's both eager for Sunday to get here already and nervous for the show.
Bad Bunny's halftime show at Super Bowl LX is shaping up to be one of the most culturally significant performances in the event's history. The Puerto Rican superstar, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will be the first solo Latin artist and first Spanish-language headliner to take the Super Bowl halftime stage. The performance marks a milestone that reflects the global influence of Latin music and broadens what mainstream U.S. audiences expect from the biggest night in American sports entertainment.
Coming off a landmark week where he also won Album of the Year at the Grammys for Debí Tirar Más Fotos—the first Spanish-language album to earn that top honor—Bad Bunny enters the performance with tremendous momentum and cultural cachet.
"I am very happy, very thankful," he told Vero Rodríguez in the interview. "But at the same time, a little bit of everything. I'd be lying if I said a particular feeling; it's a little bit of everything. I am a little bit nervous, anxious, happy. I can't wait for Sunday to come around. It's been two strange weeks. I've tried to relax and not think too much about the show on Sunday. I'm trying to enjoy it."
View this post on InstagramHis show is being produced by Apple Music, Roc Nation, and the NFL, and is expected to be about 13 minutes long, blending rhythm, reggaeton, trap, and Latin musical heritage into what he describes as "a huge party."
Bad Bunny has played coy about set details, teasing fans with energetic previews that celebrate diversity, dance, and Spanish-language culture. The vulnerability of openly admitting that he's nervous about taking the Super Bowl halftime stage is part of what makes the moment so powerful. Performing in front of the biggest television audience of the year, while carrying the weight of cultural history, isn't small stuff.
But any nerves Bad Bunny feels are being met with overwhelming excitement from fans around the world. In countries across all corners of the globe, fans (many of whom have never cared about watching football before) are buzzing to see Bad Bunny bring a Puerto Rican-style party to the Super Bowl. Many are even wondering if this could pan out to be the most-watched Super Bowl in history.
Nervous or not, the crowd is ready—and rooting hard for him.
Ben Stiller Calls This 'Zoolander' Casting ‘One of the High Points’ of His Career
From the moment it hit theaters, Zoolander felt less like a standard comedy and more like a roll call of famous faces. The 2001 absurdist comedy was packed with so many cameos that it's nearly impossible even for the most devoted movie buffs to name them all.
But even Ben Stiller knows that one of those cameos was more iconic than the rest, and he recently told Entertainment Weeklythat seeing David Bowie on the Zoolander set was special.
"Having worked with so many different people over the years, it's really one of the high points to have had that time with him," Stiller told the outlet.
The Night at the Museum star continued, "He was incredibly generous, incredibly classy — everybody on set was in awe."
The fashion satire that pitted Derek Zoolander (Stiller) and Hansel McDonald (Owen Wilson) against each other as rival models thrust into a ridiculous assassination plot. In the film, Bowie played the referee in the legendary "walk-off" between Zoolander and McDonald, and what made his appearance even more incredible was how serious he looked, given the absolute absurdity of the entire film.
"When he said yes to doing it, I couldn't believe he said yes," Stiller admitted about bringing Bowie into the film. "But he had a great sense of humor and was incredibly self-deprecating, and I feel really, really fortunate that I got to spend a little time with him."
Stiller continued, "He gave our movie so much credibility by being in that scene so it's been a high point in my career to be able to have that time with him, for sure."
Bowie died just 15 years after the Zoolander cameo on Jan. 10, 2016, following a private 18-month battle with liver cancer.
This year, Zoolander turns 25, and with more than two decades behind it, the film feels like both a cultural artifact and a period piece with jokes that have somehow remained relevant to current pop culture.

The 'Intense' Part of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show Preparation
History is being made this year with Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, becoming the first artist to perform an entire set in Spanish for the Super Bowl. This is after DeBí TiRAR Más FOToS became the first Spanish album to win a Grammy for the Album of the Year. Sunday, February 8, is when the country will see his performance and the 31-year-old revealed the hard part of preparing for it.
How Bad Bunny Created a Set List for the Super BowlBad Bunny was asked about how he came up with the set list for the show. "That was tough," the Puerto Rican performer told Access. "Even for my shows, like on tour, it was hard. It was hard to pick a whole set list of I don't know 30 songs or 40. So imagine for 13 minutes. It was very hard. The selection process was very intense."
Bady Bunny said he focused on what story he wanted to tell and the mood. He hopes the viewers will feel happiness, pride, and like they want to dance. The Grammy winner turns up his song, "BAILE INoLVIDABLE" on a phone in the teaser for the halftime show. A woman starts dancing around him, and he joins her. The woman keeps turning into different people dancing with people. The words, "The world will dance," pop up at the end of the teaser. It's very fitting with the mood Bad Bunny described.
There are several songs that might've made the cut. "NUEVAYoL" is one of his most viewed music videos on YouTube. The emotional, "DtMF" also went viral and will probably be included. Super Bowl LX will open with Charlie Puth performing the National Anthem. Green Day, Brandi Carlile, and Coco Jones will perform at the opening ceremony.
The Super Bowl LX game starts at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
Iconic '60s Group Ranked 'Best Rock Band' of All Time
It may feel inevitable, but that doesn't make it any less earned.
The Beatles have officially been named the Best Rock Band of All Time, according to Billboard. The title is as well-earned as it is unsurprising, given the way the band helped define not just rock music, but popular culture itself.
The impact the Beatles left on the world is great that it's easy to forget how astonishingly brief their explosive run truly was. In just seven years together as a band, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr released 20 Hot 100 No. 1 singles and 12 albums, all of which have come to be considered classics. The quartet's combination of creativity, ambition, and commercial dominance permanently altered the course of popular music.
Before the Beatles' arrival in the United States, rock music was at risk of being dismissed as a passing fad. The seismic early breakthroughs of pioneers like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, and Elvis Presley had begun to fade, replaced by safer, pop-leaning acts that threatened to dilute the genre's edge and urgency.
Then came the Fab Four.
Blending Berry's songwriting precision, Little Richard's uncontainable energy, and the melodic sweetness of girl-group pop, the Beatles didn't just revive rock, they transformed it. Their American debut ignited Beatlemania nearly overnight, inspiring a level of fan frenzy that has never been matched in the decades since.
Crucially, the band refused to stand still. Beginning around 1965's Help!, the Beatles pushed themselves toward constant reinvention. Fueled by the competitive partnership between Lennon and McCartney, they pioneered new studio techniques, expanded the emotional and thematic scope of rock lyrics, and helped legitimize rock music as a serious artistic form.
“So yeah, yeah, yeah — another list with the Beatles at No. 1,” wrote Joe Lynch for Billboard. “But with a legacy like theirs, you know you can’t be mad.”
More than half a century later, the argument still holds: rock music as we know it simply wouldn’t exist without them.
