The Sullivan Police Department is investigating three burglaries to area churches, one of which occurred at St. Anthony Catholic School early Friday and forced a closure.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1800 block of Possum Hollow Road Sept. 22 to find a victim was attacked by a sword-wielding suspect and had their stomach sliced open.
