Sullivan Man Charged With Burglarizing Sports Bar
Charges have been filed against a Sullivan man accused of breaking into Jekyll & Hyde’s Sports Bar on Nov. 4.
Thomas Evans, 35, faces charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree property damage and misdemeanor theft. His bond has been set at $30,000.
Evans is accused of breaking a rear window into the bar, removing his clothing and helping himself to alcohol. Evans was observed swinging a pool cue around and damaging a flat screen television.
He also used a large object to attempt to break a lock off a walk-in beer cooler, causing significant damage.
The damaged property is estimated at $750.
