The Sullivan City Council met in open session on Tuesday, March 16, where the council voted to go ahead and pay the February bill for electric consumption that came in at a jaw-dropping $3,244,762.
The Meramec Community Fair is a go for 2021.
The four-day event runs June 23-26.
Headline acts include Jon Langston and Little Texas on Friday night.
The Missouri Senate on March 11 passed a bill that would gradually raise Missouri’s motor fuel tax for the first time in two decades.
The Missouri House of Representatives voted March 4 to waive federal unemployment overpayments that affect 46,000 residents.
House members voted 157-3 and sent the bill to the Senate.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT team arrested six people during an investigation at a Lonedell residence on March 7.
All six subjects had active warrants.
