Sullivan (4-3) fended off the St. James Tigers (3-4) for a 28-20 victory on Friday, Oct. 11. The Eagles soared ahead to a three-game winning streak and a number-two spot in their conference.
This week, I am eager to bring you the Sullivan High School Athlete of the Week: Seth Valley.
Sullivan (16-14) took second place in the FCNB Rolla Invitational, held from Oct. 11-12. The Lady Eagles capped off the regular season by winning three of their five games at Ber Juan Park.
The Eagles (7-9) beat the brakes off of Dixon (5-6) in an 8-2 victory on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Sullivan (11-11-1) kicked off their week with a rout over Herculaneum (14-5-1). On Monday, Oct. 7, they swept them in all three sets: 25-15, 25-9, 25-23.
