Will Allen’s bases-loaded double in the fifth inning broke a 2-2 tie and helped Sullivan to a 6-2 victory in their season opener Friday against MICDS.
Sullivan entered the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Class 4 quarterfinal holding a lead, putting them eight minutes away from a Final Four berth.
Going into this past season, Sullivan was turning over their roster and their coaching position.
