It was all throwing events on Thursday at Union High School.
Four schools — Sullivan, Union, St. Clair and Washington — competed in nothing but throwing events.
Sullivan’s boys and girls track and field teams traveled to meets in Springfield last week.
The boys team went to the Hillcrest Invitational on Friday.
Sullivan had three athletes finish first on Tuesday at the Owensville Quad meet.
Sullivan stomped out a five-game losing streak on Thursday with an 11-7 win over St. James.
The offense had a breakout, generating 13 hits and drawing six walks.
Sullivan outhit Union on Tuesday at Sullivan Bank Ballpark, but the offense struggled to produce runs in a 6-2 loss.
