Sullivan’s boys wrestling team finished in first place as a team out of 17 at the 44th annual Bob Georger Classic in De Soto.
Seven boys finished with medals in their classes.
The Lady Eagles wrestling team placed third at the DeSoto Tournament on Friday night, landing their first team trophy in program history.
Seventeen teams competed at the tournament.
CALVIN WISER showed great heart in his action packed bout, though the referee stopped it in the 2nd round due to his bloody nose he never stopped fighting.
The Sullivan Lady Eagles faced the Union Lady Wildcats at home on Wednesday.
The spirits were up after a successful meet in Park Hills.
Abby Peterson led the Lady Eagles to a 71-38 victory against Fox High School in Arnold on Tuesday.
Peterson scored 31 points as Sullivan snapped a five-game losing streak.
