Walker, Goly Finish Fourth At Pacific JV Tournament

Chase Walker (120) and Alex Goly (170) finished fourth place on Saturday at the Pacific JV Tournament.

Dillon Freeman (106) came in sixth.

The Eagles had 34 points as a team.

Walker had two victories, pinning Owensville’s Aries Nicholas and Webster Grove’s John Forsythe. 

Goly also had two victories. He pinned Washington’s Tanner Schoweppe and faced off against his own teammate Logan DeBrecht, getting a fall.

Freeman had three wins. He won a decision against Seckman’s Eli Wingbermuehle, Quintin Blondin of Hazelwood West and Parker Kelpe of Washington.

Ty Brendel (132) wrestled Trenton Yust of Ft. Zumwalt North, Brady Morgan of Washington, Ryland Moore of Seckman and Ethan Waters of Hazelwood West.

Cole Aberle (138) wrestled Caden Rangle of Hazelwood West, Mason Lucas of Pacific, Chase Fievet of Pacific and Johnathan Miller of Webster Groves.

Kayden Bryan (145) took eighth. He had an 11-10 decision against Feliz Ortiz-Cruz of Seckman, then wrestled Justin Little of Liberty-Wentzville, Lucas Sanders of Seckman, Andrew Guthery of Ft. Zumwalt North and Ben Perkins of Rolla.

Hunter Kamke (152) finished eighth. He defeated Ryan Mueller of Washington by a 9-6 decision. Kamke wrestled Josiah Davis of Webster Groves, Lenardo Lule of McCluer North and Joshua Giljum of Liberty-Wentzville.

Andrew Woodcock (160) took eighth, winning by fall against Colin Soete of Washington. He also wrestled Silas Guenzler of Pacific, Isaiah White of McCluer North, Joseph Lane of Ft. Zumwalt North and Xandier Graham of Hazelwood West.

DeBrecht (170) wrestled Justin Waneka of Rolla, Goly, Schwoeppe and Mack Hardmon of McCluer North.

Jake Schatzl (285) defeated Cole Allen of Liberty-Wentzville. He wrestled Jamari Wadley of McCluer North, Joshua Lund of St. Charles, Matt Zeller of Seckman and Zachary Burright of Liberty-Wentzville.
