Sullivan Hosting Class 3 District 8 Tournament

Sullivan will host the Class 3 District 8 volleyball tournament that begins Monday, October 28 with three games.

St. Francis Borgia (25-3) is the top seed. 

St. Clair received the second seed and Sullivan earned the third seed.

Pacific and Owensville are the fourth and fifth seeds, while St. James is the sixth seed and Salem the seventh.

The Lady Eagles (16-10-3) will play St. James October 28 at 7:30 p.m. 

If they win, they advanced to play either St. Clair or Salem. Those two teams will play October 28 at 6:15 p.m.

Pacific and Owensville kick off first round action at 5 p.m. that night.

Borgia plays the winner of Pacific-Owensville on Tuesday, October 29 at 5 p.m.

The other semifinal begins that night at 6:15 p.m.

The championship game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Sullivan has won three straight district titles. Borgia is working on its 22nd straight district championship.

The Lady Knights took third place in Class 3 last season.
