Sullivan Girls Finish Third At Owensville

Sullivan’s girls took third place Tuesday at the Owensville Invitational, with Maggie Jones again leading the way.

Jones took second place with a time of 21:07.36. She finished behind Owensville’s Sophie Ashner. The Dutchgirls had four runners place in the top five and dominated the standings with 24 points.

Pacific took second place with 66 points and Sullivan slotted in with 70 points. New Haven had 77 points, Linn had 135 points and Hermann 149 points.

Bria Jones came in 15th with a time of 22:56.93 for the Lady Eagles. Kayleigh Willman was 19th in 23:43.69. Andrea Chazarreta took 22nd in 23:56.06. Porscha Polanowski finished 25th in 24:07.78. Baylee Coats was 30th at 24:23.95. Vittoria Polanowski came in 34th in 24:40.42. Madison Douthit took 45th in 26:23.94. Maria Boero was 51st in 27:29.23. Maddy Brauninger took 56th in 29:31.31 and Rachel Rhoads was 58th in 30:03.033.

Also running for Sullivan was Libbi Ransom (30:10.77), Adrianna Helms (30:12.19), Maddie Joslin (30:44.60) and Emma Campbell (31:58.94).

Boys

JC Thomas was Sullivan’s top finisher in 58th and had a time of 21:14.11. Alec McCormick came in at 21:36.44. Braden Ziltz finished at 22:45.14. Tim Bandy finished at 22:57.27. Dawson Amheiser came in at 23:42.00.
