Sullivan Claims Victories Over Central, Dexter At Friday Night Takedown

Sullivan picked up a pair of dual victories at their annual Friday Night Takedown.

The Eagles logged wins over Central and Dexter, while falling to Osage.

Central

Sullivan won 37-27 against the Rebels.

Sam Hect (132), Colton Brendel (145), Ty Shetley (152), Ethan Hurt (160) and Kyler Martin (220) all had wins on the mat.

Dominic Ransom (120), Dillon Witt (126) and Adam Peregoy (138) won via forfeit.

Both teams forfeited at 106.

Hect defeated Joshua Tesreau by a 12-8 decision.

Brendel won by major decision against Dean Parker.

Shetley pinned Colten Bess.

Hurt had a 13-9 decision against Shane Patt.

Martin pulled out a 6-2 decision against Austin Carver.

John Johnson (113) fell to Cole Crocker. Bennett Sherrell (170) lost by decision to Hunter Settles. Jordan Rice (182) lost to Cody Skaggs. Kane Strehl (195) fell to Troy Harris. Jeremiah Rodriguez (285) was pinned at the buzzer by Michael Weinhold

Dexter

The Eagles won 45-36.

Ransom, Witt, Peregoy, Brendel, Shetley and Franky Erxleben (160) secured victories.

Martin and Hect won via forfeit.

Sullivan forfeited at 106.

Ransom pinned Eric Harmon. Witt pinned Kasen Forkum. Peregoy pinned James Deberry. Brendel won by sudden victory against Jacob Medler. Shetley pinned Luke Blocker. Erxleben pinned Carter Pennington.

Johnson lost to Diego McCormick, Kaden Bryan (170) lost to Andrew Mogan, Rice was pinned by Harrison Pennington, Stehl fell to Caleb Coons and Rodriguez to Kolin Simpson.

Osage

The Eagles lost to Osage 42-33.

They were open at 106 and 195. Osage was open at 120, 170, 220 and 285.

Both teams forfeited at 126.

Witt moved up to 132 and pinned Charlie Dulle. Shetley won a 2-0 decision against Mason Dulle. 

Johnson fell to Hayden Westbrook. Peregoy was pinned by Corey Hubkey. Wieland Schmuke (145) was pinned by Ryan Schepers. Erxleben lost to Zach Isom. Austin Brock (182) was pinned by Chase Cordia.
