Addison Purvis watches her second homer of the game clear the fence Tuesday

Purvis Hits Two Homers, No-Hits Pacific

Addison Purvis clubbed two home runs, struck out 11 batters and didn't allow a hit in five innings Tuesday as Sullivan rolled Pacific 11-0 for their ninth straight win.

Purvis connected on her sixth and seventh homers of the season. She also homered against St. Francis Borgia Monday, giving her three this week.

Her first homer sailed around 20 feet past the fence in left center. Her second was launched to dead center, which cleared the bases for a three-run homer.

All Pacific could manage against Purvis as pitched against them was two walks.

The win moved Sullivan (15-2) to 5-0 in the Four Rivers Conference. The Lady Eagles play at Hermann on Thursday and with a win there and at Owensville on Tuesday, Sept. 19, Sullivan can win their first conference title since 2013.

Purvis, Madison Decker, Hanna Johanning and Kloey Blanton all had three hits. Blanton doubled and tripled and scored three times.

Decker collected three singles and drove in a run. Johanning had two RBIs and a run scored. Purvis finished with five RBIs.

Abbey Daniel doubled, drove in a pair of runs and scored. Hannah Cox singled and scored. Kamryn Lohden singled.
