Pacific Tops Eagles In FRC Meet

Sullivan was shut out on the mat Tuesday at Pacific in a Four Rivers Conference meet.

The Indians, one of the area’s best programs this season, won 54-18.

Trey Eplin (182), Luke Landwehr (195) and Drake Hill (220) won due to Pacific being open. Sullivan was open at 126.

Dillon Witt (106) lost a 7-4 decision to Vincent Boyen. Brendan Labbee (113) fell with just nine seconds remaining to Jakob Balleydier. Ethan Hines (120) was pinned by Callum Sitek.

Noah Patton — one of Pacific’s four Class 3 state qualifiers from a year ago — pinned Ransom Dudley (132). Kobie Blankenship (138) was pinned by Gage Kassing, another returning state qualifier.

Cole Cracchiolo pinned Isaac Peregoy (145). Ben Courtney pinned Ross Farris (152). Nathan Murray took a 4-2 decision against Alec McCormick (160). Returning state qualifier James Anding handed Evan Shetley (170) his first defeat of the season by a 10-3 decision.

Trevor Heitsch won an 8-4 decision against Tristan Brown (285).

In an exhibition match, Jonathan Krygiel (138) lost to Trevor Graf.
