Lady Eagles Split With Pacific, Warrenton To Wrap Regular Season

Despite a blip in the second set, Sullivan dominated Pacific on Tuesday in their home finale, winning 25-15, 16-25, 25-16, 25-19.

The win gave the Lady Eagles (6-19-3) another Four Rivers Conference tally. 

Sullivan took sixth in the FRC with a 3-4 record.

Following Tuesday’s victory, the Lady Eagles went down in four sets to Warrenton.

They faced Cuba in the first round of districts on Monday.

Pacific

Sullivan welcomed outside hitter Emma Brune back into the fold and she contributed 13 points, five kills and three aces in the win.

Olivia Witt led all players with 21 kills. She also had three points and an assist.

Abby Wiegers chipped in six kills and a block.

Saige Carey and Cassidy Cunningham each had three kills.

Carey also had 12 points, seven aces and nine assists.

Erica Juergens provided two kills, while Maci Nolie and Morgan Clonts each had one.

Nolie led the Lady Eagles with 30 assists. She also had five points and one ace.

Morgan Clonts had nine points, one ace and one kill.

Parker Williamson had eight points and one ace.

Warrenton

Sullivan was staring at a straight set loss to a talented Warriors squad in Thursday’s regular season finale.

Instead, they rallied to win the third set and pushed the fourth to the wire.

In the end, Warrenton won 25-15, 25-21, 16-25, 26-24.

Witt’s 16 kills paced the Lady Eagles. She also had 11 points and two blocks.

Brune provided 12 kills, three points, two blocks and two assists.

Cunningham added nine kills. Wiegers finished with seven.

Carey had four kills, eight points and eight assists.

Nolie and Williamson each had one kill.

Nolie finished with 38 assists and Williamson had nine points.

Clonts tallied four points.
