Lady Eagles Roll Over St. James
Sullivan inched closer to at least a share of the Four Rivers Conference championship on Monday with a 48-36 win at St. James.
Mallory Shetley scored 16 points and Kya Harbour added 14 for the Lady Eagles, who won for the second straight game and improved to 4-1 in the conference.
Hanna Johanning added eight, Katie Creek scored six and both Riley Lock and Vittoria Polanowski scored two.
Sullivan (15-7) built up a 14-2 lead after one quarter and wouldn’t budge from that point on. They led 28-14 at the half and though the offense slowed a bit in the third quarter, still held a commanding 36-25 advantage going into the fourth quarter.
The Lady Eagles have won four straight games against St. James spread over the last two seasons. Sullivan handed them a 45-26 loss in the third place game of the Peoples Bank Holiday Classic on December 14.
