Kirk Leads Boys At Fleet Feet Classic

Aiden Kirk led the boys cross country team Tuesday at the Fleet Feet Kickoff Classic in Arnold.

Making his cross country debut, Kirk finished 32nd in a field of 228 runners with a time of 11:30.38.

Teammates George Bonney (13:43.92), Ayden Treece (13:54.58), Walker Hardy (14:37.01) and Ian Studdard (16:55.72) also competed.

Caleb Lind of Lutheran St. Charles won the event, which was a two-mile course. Lind checked in with a time of 9:56.12.

His teammate Noah Mcmullen came in at 10:02.83.

Hillsboro’s Josh Allen, Lutheran St. Charles’ Travis Fruend and Brody Hudson, Hillsboro’s Jonah Allison, Seckman’s Jonny Key, St. Louis Christian Homeschool’s Jacob Snell, St. Charles’ Nate Maples and Fox’s Sam Shipp were all in the top 10.

Lutheran St. Charles won the team championship with 23 points, easily beating out runner-up Hillsboro’s 83.

Fox, Farmington and Arcadia Valley finished third through fifth, respectively.

St. Louis Christian Homeschool, Holt, Seckman, St. Charles and Ft. Zumwalt rounded out the top 10.

Christian, Cape Central, Ft. Zumwalt East, Owensville and Battle were 11th through 15th, respectively.

Francis Howell Central, Bismarck and Sullivan finished out the field.
