Girls Eighth At Owensville

Sullivan’s girls track team took eighth Friday at Owensville in a meet that featured 15 teams. 

The Lady Eagles’ 4x200-meter relay team took first, while Kristin Lucas took second in the shot put. 

Eldon took home the team title with 76 points. Blair Oaks (50.75) was second. Osage (46) finished third, Montgomery County (45) was fourth and Owensville (44.75) was fifth.

St. James (40) came in sixth, Rolla (39) was seventh, Sullivan (36) was eighth, South Callaway (27.75) took ninth and Fatima (21) rounded out the top 10.

Bourbon (16) came in 11th. Steelville (9) finished 12th. New Bloomfield (6.75) was 13th and New Haven and Hermann (5) tied for 14th.

The 4x200-meter relay team was led by Reagan Thomure, Kya Harbour, Hanna Johanning and Bria Jones. They finished in 1:49.34. 

Lucas came in second in the shot put with a distance of 35-02.5. Emily Hernandez was 18th. 

Thomure was fourth in the 100-meter dash in 13.54 seconds. Johanning took eighth in 13.91 seconds.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Casey Licklider, Mallory Shetley, Riley Lock and Thomure took fourth in 54.97 seconds.

Sullivan’s 4x800-meter relay team of Claudia Dace, Porscha Polanowski, Maggie Jones and Jenni Birge were fifth in 10:53.57. 

Lucas took sixth in the discus with a distance of 97-06.
