Eagles Split Tri-Meet With Rolla, Hillcrest
Sullivan topped Hillcrest and came up three points shy of host Rolla on Tuesday at a tri-meet.
The Eagles won 48-21 against Hillcrest. They fell 39-36 to the Bulldogs, who secured the victory in the final match.
Six Eagles won matches in both duals — Dillon Witt (106), Ty Shetley (126) Kobie Blankenship (145), Isaac Peregoy (160), Evan Shetley (182) and Tristan Brown (285).
Witt won a 6-0 decision against Rolla’s Hunter Hoffman, while Hillcrest was open in that weight class.
Ty Shetley pinned Rolla’s Orion Parker in 3:34 and Hillcrest’s Cyrus Narducci in 1:33.
Blankenship pinned Rolla’s Justin McEnaney in 3:38 and had a forfeit win against Hillcrest.
Peregoy pinned Rolla’s Andre Ridenhour in 3:21. He pinned Hillcrest’s Nathaniel Berg in 54 seconds.
Evan Shetley took a 5-0 decision against Rolla’s Colton Franks and pinned Hillcrest’s Anthony Taylor in 1:26.
Brown pinned Rolla’s Terrance Horton in 3:21 and Hillcrest’s Danny Duffy in 30 seconds.
Jonathan Krygiel (138) had a fall over Hillcrest’s Lucas Nave in 29 seconds. He lost by a 7-0 decision to Rolla’s Dathan Mickem. Trey Eplin (170) won by forfeit against HIllcrest and was pinned by Rolla’s Hayden Fane.
Against Rolla, Wyatt Medlock (220) pinned Luke Beaugard in 2:35. Medlock was defeated by Hillcrest’s Jacob Gott.
Joseph Lewis (120) was pinned by Rolla’s Alexander Sederburg and fell by decision to Alex Glanden of Hillcrest.
Luke Landwehr (195) came up short against Rolla’s David Rogers and Hillcrest’s Quinci Attyberry.
