Boys, Girls Basketball Teams Win Tournament Championships

Sullivan's boys and girls basketball teams won tournament championships Friday.
The boys won the fourth annual FCNB Bank It Tournament over St. James 54-52. Austin Lewis had a putback with 18 seconds left for the go-ahead shot. The Eagles won the tournament for the second straight year. Cody McKinney was named tournament MVP after averaging 19 points in three games. Caleb Todd also was chosen to the all-tournament team.
Sullivan's girls knocked off Fort Zumwalt West 49-46. Sullivan trailed throughout most of the game, but rallied in the fourth quarter. Bria Jones, Clare Shetley and Mallory Shetley were named to the all-tournament team.
