Boys Come In Third At Blair Oaks

Sullivan’s boys took third place Friday in their season opener at Blair Oaks.

The Eagles had two first place finishes, led by Blaine Blankenship in the triple jump and the 4x100-meter relay team.

Sullivan had two second-place finishes, five third-place finishes and two fourth-place finishes.

Balor Bartolotta and Ross Farris took second and third respectively in the 100-meter dash. Bartolotta had a time of 11.96 seconds and Farris 12 seconds. Jason Blankenship took sixth in 12.09 seconds.

Ethan Light came in fourth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:12.25. Isiah Huskey came in sixth in the 3,200-meter run in 11:28.48.

Trevor Key finished third and fourth in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles respectively. Key’s time in the 110-meter event was 16:42 and 43.79 in the 300-meters.

In the high jump, Jason Blankenship took fourth place at 5-4. Bode Janish was fifth at the same height.

Jason Blankenship finished third in the long jump at 17-08.75.

Blaine Blankenship came in first in the triple jump at 38-09.25. McCormick took third at 37-2.

Tyler Hesse took fifth in the discus at 107-11.50.

McCormick was third in the javelin at 129 feet. Hesse was seventh at 112-6.

Hesse was second in the shot put at 42-10. Trevor Hamblin finished seventh in 39-4.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Bartolotta, Blaine Blankenship, Jason Blankenship and Farris finished first in 44.75 seconds. The 4x200-meter relay team of Ethan Krygiel, Jonathan Krygiel, Kobie Blankenship and Seth Lucas took fourth in 3:54.97.
