Pto News From Strain-Japan R-16 School
The PTO from Strain-Japan R-16 School will be sponsoring their annual fundraising event on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Strain-Japan School. Tickets for the Dinner/Trivia/Auction are $20, either in advance or at the door, and can be obtained from your favorite Strain-Japan student.
The evening's festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with social time and the start of the Silent and Dessert Auctions. Dinner, catered by Carol’s Catering of Owensville, will get underway at 6 p.m. featuring a great menu of pork loin, mosctaccioli, hash brown casserole, green beans, corn, garden salad, and roll. The dessert auctions will continue until 6:45 p.m. This year's offering of silent items includes products and services from various merchants as well as hunting and outdoor necessities, home décor, cookware, show tickets, beautiful jewelry, and a variety of handmade items that are always sought after by the bidders. There is sure to be something of interest for everyone. The silent auction portion of the evening will end at 8 p.m.
- tickets are available for purchase at this time and will continue to be offered throughout the Saturday evening event. Prizes this year include an iPad Mini 2 (32 GB) donated by Hansen Title and a Barnett Wildcat C7 Compound Crossbow donated by Express Pawn & Gun. The ticket drawings will take place following the trivia, and you need not be present to win.
