Fun-Filled Night Planned At Strain-Japan School!

Lots of great items will be up for grabs this year at the Strain-Japan R-16 School Annual Dinner/Auction/Trivia Night! The event is scheduled to take place Saturday, Oct. 21, in the school gymnasium, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. A wide variety of gift baskets, gift certificates and desserts donated by area businesses and community members will be up for bid, as well as art projects created by our very own students! The dessert auction will close at 6:45 and the silent auction at 8 p.m. Dinner, catered by Carol’s Catering of Owensville, will begin at 6 p.m. and will be serving a mouth-watering menu of pork loin, mostaccioli, hash brown casserole, green beans, corn, garden salad, and roll. Don’t forget to brush up on those sports stats, as this year’s trivia theme is All-Things Sports, and will ‘kick-off’ after dinner is served!

As you can see, there is a fun-filled evening of entertainment scheduled, all for only $20 per person, or bring a table of eight and one person gets in FREE! There will be a cash prize for the winning table! Come out and support the Strain-Japan School and students! Proceeds from the event will go towards building improvements, student activities, and technology updates.
