Adam Sandler spent the Fourth of July weekend officiating the wedding of the year.

Two days later he was on the phone with the Nantucket police, though not for anything close to an emergency. Less than 48 hours after he married off Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on July 3, Sandler, 59, called the Nantucket Police Department's non-emergency line with a simple question: where could a guy find a pickup basketball game?

Public safety dispatcher Chris Reynolds took the call and later recounted it to the Nantucket Current, the local outlet that first reported the story.

"Sandler said, 'Hey, I'm here on your island and I like to play basketball. Can you tell me where there's a basketball court I could play on?' " Reynolds recalled.

The call was not a one-off. Hours before he officiated the Swift and Kelce ceremony on July 3, the Grown Ups star had already squeezed in a pickup run on outdoor courts in New York City during a heat wave. Sandler plays multiple times a week and has hooped with NBA pros and total strangers alike. Back in 2010, Shaquille O'Neal called him "a damn good player."

Reynolds pointed him toward the Backus Lane court off Surfside Road, where a group of locals had a game going. One of them, Andrew Kesler, said Sandler climbed out of a car and asked to jump in.

"Adam Sandler rolled in a car and started playing pick ups with the boys," Kesler said.

Sandler first met Kelce on the set of the 2025 Netflix comedy Happy Gilmore 2, which featured a cameo from the tight end. He has spoken warmly about both newlyweds, once calling Kelce "such a gentle, nice guy" and describing Swift as "ridiculously nice" to his family.

It made for two pickup games in one wedding weekend, on two different islands. The second one just took a call to the cops to set up.

More than 30 years after forming, The Rasmus is finally embarking on its first North American headlining tour.

The Finnish rock band has announced a fall 2026 trek across the United States and Canada, marking the first time the group will headline its own tour in the region. Joining The Rasmus on the run will be British rock band Saint Agnes and Los Angeles outfit Death Valley Dreams as special guests. 

For vocalist Lauri Ylönen, the tour represents a milestone years in the making.

"We've waited for this moment for a long time," Ylönen said in a statement. "Our fans in North America have been asking us to come back and do a proper headlining tour for years, and now it's finally happening. We're excited to bring our full show across the Atlantic and play both new songs and the classics."

The tour comes on the heels of the release of the band's latest album, Weirdo. The record follows 2022's Rise and continues the next chapter for a group that has remained one of Finland’s most successful rock exports for more than three decades.

"I had a feeling that we should go harder musically and I've been steering us into that world," Ylönen told The Strange Brew of Weirdo. "It excites me and feels tempting and unknown. Times are also rough and our is in a bad shape right now. Heavier sound fits and feels natural."

Formed in Helsinki in 1994, The Rasmus broke through internationally in the early 2000s with the release of Dead Letters. Powered by the global smash "In the Shadows," the album sold millions of copies worldwide and introduced the band's blend of alternative rock, gothic influences and melodic hooks to audiences across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

While the group has toured extensively throughout Europe over the years, North American appearances have been relatively rare. The newly announced headlining run gives fans the opportunity to experience a full-length show celebrating both the band’s classic material and its newest music.

Saint Agnes and Death Valley Dreams will provide support throughout the tour, adding a pair of rising rock acts to the lineup. Together, the three bands promise a night that spans hard rock, alternative and modern metal influences.

After decades of building an international following, The Rasmus is finally bringing its own headlining production to North America. For longtime fans who have waited years to see the band in a headlining setting, the upcoming tour marks one of the biggest milestones of the group's career.

Nicole Kidman has tight natural curls, but she doesn't show them in her recent movie roles. The Oscar winner has three daughters and she shared a cute baby picture of one of them and her blonde curls.

Kidman, 59, posted a picture of herself holding Sunday Rose Kidman Urban on July 7 on Instagram. "Happy 18th my angel, you couldn't be more loved," she captioned the photo. Reese Witherspoon commented happy birthday on the post.

Sunday Rose has darker hair these days and models. She walked for Christian Dior Haute's Paris Fashion Week show on July 6, according to PEOPLE. The teenage model previously walked the red carpet at the Met Gala.

Kidman shares two kids, Bella and Connor, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. She has two girls with ex-husband Keith Urban. Their youngest is 15-year-old Faith Margaret Kidman Urban.

The Moulin Rouge! star also celebrated a birthday on June 20. Sunday Rose posted a black-and-white photo of Kidman playing with her curly hair that day on Instagram. "Happy birthday mumma," she captioned the post. "No one I adore more."

Kidman once gifted her Oscar to her mother, then her Emmy and Golden Globe to her youngest daughters. Faith wanted it, but Sunday had a different reaction.

"I said to my oldest: 'You can put this on your shelf,’ and she said, 'No, my shelf is full, I don’t want that.’" the actress told Tatler. "Her shelf is full of snow globes and certificates and books, you know, bits and pieces and knick-knacks. I totally get it. You don’t want some trophy your mum’s won sitting up there."

Urban, 58, and Kidman got married in 2006 and divorced this year. The country singer wrote a message for Kidman on his Instagram story, "happy birthday Nicole Mary" with multiple exclamation marks on her birthday this year.

The actress didn't talk a lot during the divorce. But she opened up more with her return for Scarpetta and Practical Magic 2.

"I was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell," Kidman told Variety. "Now I’m in a place of saying, '2026. Here we go,'" she later said. "I have Practical Magic with [Sandra Bullock]. I’ll be in full witch mode." The interviewer later asked directly how she was doing after the divorce.

"I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good," she answered. "What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, 'We are a family,' and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women."

Several of The Gap Band's hits are still in heavy rotation today, with one in particular becoming one of the most defining tracks of the 1980s—and it remains a timeless classic 44 years later.

"Outstanding" was released in November 1982 by the musical trio, brothers Ronnie, Robert, and frontman Charlie Wilson. Written by contributor Raymond Calhoun, it appeared on the group's blockbuster album, Gap Band IV.

One of their signature songs and biggest hits, it climbed all the way to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart, peaking at No. 51 on the Hot 100. The track has been dubbed "THE classic," with Boston's WERS FM station declaring it "might be the most popular song" ever recorded by the band. "Then the vocals of the three Wilson brothers hit you, and it puts you right into the loving mood. It is a complete jam song. It is something you can have on in the background, listen to intently, or dance to. That is the beauty of this song. It too has been sampled by multiple artists. From Notorious B.I.G. to Tyler, the Creator, 'Outstanding' has never left the musical spotlight since its debut in 1982."

The tune tells a feel-good love story, describing a man completely enamored with a woman. "Outstanding / Girl you knock me out / Excited / You make me wanna shout," the singers croon on the classic.

Wilson once admitted that of all the group's songs, "Outstanding" is the one he'd personally say "represents" The Gap Band and their remarkable impact.

He also added he could never have imagined they'd become a "staple" in music. "I wouldn't never had an idea," Wilson told NPR in 2005. "I would--not an inkling of an idea that it would last this long, either. We only was recording from our heart and just making music that felt good."

The band first formed in Tulsa, Okla., in 1967, and helped define the funk/R&B sound.

"Outstanding" became the third of four R&B chart-toppers for the band, following “Burn Rubber on Me (Why You Wanna Hurt Me)” and “Early in the Morning,” and preceding 1989's “All of My Love.” They're also known for such notable hits as "You Dropped a Bomb on Me," "Party Train," "Yearning for Your Love," "I Don't Believe You Want to Get Up and Dance (Oops Up Side Your Head)," and more, many of which became undeniable party anthems.

"And to believe that it would last this long and be in the clubs this long or for me to even be still singing this long is a blessing in itself," the legend, now 73, shared with the news outlet at the time.

Even now, 21 years after that interview, the legendary performer is still going. Despite suffering five strokes recently and losing his brothers and bandmates after both of their deaths (Robert in 2010 and Ronnie in 2021), Wilson remains an icon. In fact, he hit the stage on June 28, headlining the third day of the 2026 Hampton Jazz & Music Festival, sharing his story with the audience as he delivered a set of timeless hits.

Big Brother 26's Angela Murray is officially on the cast of BB28!

According to Men's Journal, the real estate agent will be one of the houseguests competing on the upcoming season of the CBS reality series. Big Brotherrevealed 14 of this season’s contestants on Tuesday, July 7, via their YouTube channel.

The exciting news comes shortly after it was revealed that Survivor 50 star Rick Devens and another unidentified Survivor castaway will be joining the cast of BB28 and competing for the show's $750,000 grand prize.

Men’s Journal reports that the mystery contestant’s identity will be revealed during the premiere episode of Big Brother: Unlocked, Big Brother's companion talk show hosted by former winners Derrick Levasseur and Taylor Hale and actor Jerry O’Connell. The first episode of this season's Big Brother: Unlocked airs on Friday, July 10.

Murray previously placed sixth on BB26 in 2024 and finished in the top three for America’s Favorite Player, ultimately losing to Tucker Des Lauriers, her ally in the game. She also appeared on the Amazing Race 38 in 2025, which featured Big Brother alumni and their loved ones, and was eliminated 2nd alongside her daughter Lexi.

In the week leading up to Murray's cast announcement, there was heavy speculation on social media that she would appear on the upcoming season.

In a post shared to X on Monday, June 29, Big Brother legend Janelle Pierzina claimed that the Utah native was no longer responding to her text messages. At the time, cast for Big Brother 28 was sequestering in a hotel without their phones ahead of filming.

“I cannot get ahold of Angela,” Pierzina wrote. “We have a good relationship, talk sometimes and it’s been crickets.”

“Her phone used to show delivered when I would text her, and now it’s not saying delivered,” Pierzina added in a separate post.

Big Brother returns to CBS and Paramount+ on Thursday, July 9.

Written in June of 1969, "Ramble On" by Led Zeppelin was recorded for their second studio album, Led Zeppelin II. The band recorded the track in New York City after guitarist Jimmy Page and lead singer Robert Plant completed writing the track.

The lyrics to "Ramble On" were heavily inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord ofthe Rings. Many of Led Zeppelin's lyrics call back to Tolkien's work, as Plant, their main lyricist, was heavily inspired by Tolkien as a writer. "Ramble On," in particular, references Mordor, Gollum, and "The Evil One," aka Sauron. Additionally, the line "Leaves are falling all around" is a play on Tolkien's "Ah! like gold fall the leaves in the wind" from his Elvish poem, "Namárië."

A review of the song for Rolling Stonewrote, "The narrator of [Led Zeppelin's] 1969 classic 'Ramble On' finds himself in a very bizarre version of Middle Earth – a land where Mordor appears to be a great place to meet beautiful women, and Gollum and Sauron are more interested in fighting over the narrator's girlfriend than getting their hands on the One Ring."

While "Ramble On" was not initially released as a single, Led Zeppelin II went on to chart at number one in both the United States and the United Kingdom. In the several decades since its release, the album has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. The song was included on Rolling Stone's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" and ranked number 5 on the best songs by Led Zeppelin by the same publication.

Dave Lewis wrote in his bookLed Zeppelin: A Celebration that "Ramble On" was "the highlight" of Led Zeppelin II. For American Songwriter, Jacob Uitti called the song"one of the band's best."

Before 1980, "Ramble On" was never played live in its entirety by the original band. The full track was first performed live on December 10th, 2007, at a London performance.

A new supergroup is in the making thanks to an upcoming concert in celebration of punk legends The Ramones.

2026 marks five decades since the band released their debut self-titled album, and to honor the music icons' enduring legacy, The Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute will see some huge stars make history with a brand new band made up of some of the biggest names in music.

Taking place on Aug. 30 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, the tribute event will feature the debut performance of Cretin Family, a punk supergroup formed of Green Day front manBillie Joe Armstrong, Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barkeralongside latter-day Ramones bassist C.J. Ramone.

"The spirit of the Ramones is alive in every backyard punk show, punk club, and festival," Armstrong said in a statement, per Rolling Stone. "Generation after generation of cretins and weirdos become Ramones lovers. Kids are influenced by the Ramones and they don’t even know it yet. ¡Viva Ramones!"

Barker also shared his excitement for the tribute, stating, "Ramones are the blueprint. Punk rock wouldn’t be what it is today without them. I’m honored to celebrate 50 years of one of the greatest bands ever."

Hosted byJohn Travolta, The Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute will also feature a 50th-anniversary screening of Travolta’s 1976 movie, cult classic horror Carrie, along with a screening of his latest film, Propeller One-Way Night Coach.

The Ramones called it quits in 1996 after over two decades of back-to-back tours. While all of the original members of the band have died, the later-era members are keeping the music alive. Drummer Marky Ramone, who played with the band on and off again from the late '70s through the mid '90s, fronts Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, while C.J. and Richie Ramone lead their own touring bands which focus on the classic hits.

Tickets for The Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute are on sale now, starting at $40. All proceeds from the event will go to Dr. David Agus’ cancer research at Ellison Institute Research Foundation.

Groen was in the lead at the end of the DJ Round with a running total of $17,600, as Davis and Yates trailed not too far behind at $10,600 each. 

All three contestants answered FJ correctly, as Groen added $3,601 to his total for a winning score of $21,201. Davis wagered $8,200, going on to take the second-place spot with $18,800, while Yates wagered $3,400 for a 3rd place final of $14,000.

Groen will be back on Wednesday for attempt number 5.

Any reason to talk to Robert Irwin is a great one. I’ve personally chatted with him about endometriosis, while he supported his sister’s journey living with it at the Endometriosis Ball. And of course about Wildlife Warriors with his mother, Terri Irwin, at The Steve Irwin Ball.  But when given the opportunity to chat with him about his own passion project, the Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition, I was thrilled.

I was always curious why his Instagram handle has stayed "Robertirwinphotography "despite his charm and talents leading him into many other ventures (like underwear modeling!). It’s because photography is just as much a part of him as loving animals is.

“This has been a passion project of mine and ours for a very long time," the 22-year-old says in an interview with Parade. "A lot of people might not realize this, but there's this part of my life that's been really probably the most formative part of my life and really created the person I am today, which is photography.”

The last time we talked was at the Steve Irwin Ball for Wildlife Warriors. I think Witney’s husband buying your Dancing with the Stars outfit will be a core memory for me.
Oh, that was iconic! I looked over, and I realized. I'm like, "That's Witney and Carson…" And it was so funny because I could see Witney just melting, going, "Stop, stop, stop." And Carson, her husband, who's just the absolute greatest, he's just like, "No! I'm getting this." It was so funny. And he did! He got it. I think it landed at $36,000. So he helped a lot of animals with that. So, hey, on behalf of wildlife conservation, thank you to the McAllister family!

Tell me more about this project, the Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition, and how it started.
I've spent most of my life, obviously, on camera, advocating for the environment, but also behind the camera and behind the lens. I've spent many, many years of my life capturing nature through photography. And growing up, [it] was my kind of individual way of spreading this conservation message that I'm so passionate about. 

If you are a photographer, you enter a big competition. That's what really gets your work to the next level. And when you're a wildlife photographer, the whole point is to share stories of conservation. It's about helping the natural world. And I found growing up, there wasn't a lot that was geared towards young people who have that interest in photography. So we wanted to create something ourselves that was new, it was fresh, it was different.

So we created the Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition. The Crikey! magazine is our quarterly international edition, all about conservation and animals. This is the 10th year, and we're encouraging people from everywhere, any age, around the world, whether you're an established professional photographer or you're ten years old and you're just starting out, there's a category for you to tell your story. I'm on the judging panel. I get to see all of the images that are entered. It is just like the ultimate passion project. 

When did you discover that you had an eye for photography?
I always obviously had such an affinity with the natural world. I think growing up in a zoo, you can't help but fall in love with nature. I've gotten to travel around the world and seen conservation on the front line. It gave me this sense, this need to try and protect the environment. And then being part of animal documentaries since I was really young, you've always got a camera around, and I think that's what made me realize, 'Okay, the camera is really the tool.' That's the vessel between what I see on the front line and then amplifying that to the world. 

So I picked up a camera, and I started looking at it from an artistic perspective. It just became the biggest part of my life from about age ten, all the way through my teenage years. I've always got a camera with me. Now it's about I know that feeling that it gave me as a kid, and I want to give other kids that feeling. 

Since you said you were going to be a judge, is there any overlap from how you would judge or going to judge these professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro? Anything that is a visual or artistic expression shares common ground. Whether you are a dancer or a poet or a painter or a filmmaker, a photographer, whatever it is, if you are using the visual arts or using any kind of artistic medium to express yourself or what you love, it's the same thing in different fonts.

Doing The Next Pro, this new era of Dancing with the Stars, which comes out July 13th,  was interesting because I kind of took a different position. I had spent three months in the ballroom dancing, and then all of a sudden, I was actually like a host and sort of almost a mentor to these incredible dancers. Not a mentor for how to dance; they're better than I'll ever be. But to mentor how to tell stories through dance and how to really express yourself and your creativity. And it was fun to watch people, the best in their craft, just giving everything to what they love. When I judge the photography competition, [it 's] the exact same thing. These are the top people, incredible individuals that are doing so well that now the world knows about.

Is there an animal you have not gotten to take a picture of yet that you would want?
There are so many, so many animals that I haven't even seen in the wild. I feel like people often assume they kind of think, 'Oh, wow, you sort of grew up with it. You've seen everything. You've been everywhere and seen all the animals.' It doesn't matter if this is your life and your passion and your conservationist, you will never see everything there is to see within the natural world. And anyone who has a passion for wildlife will tell you they have a list that's a mile long of what they want to see next. 

I haven't been to South America. That's like one continent that I still haven't been to, and I've always wanted to see sloths in the wild. I've always wanted to go to the Galapagos. I have a love for Komodo dragons. I've never photographed them in the wild. That is absolutely top of my list. Obviously, snow leopards. I think as a photographer, that is the pinnacle. Polar bears! That's another one that I've always wanted to see. A polar bear in the wild. I think I would just squeal with excitement if I saw one of them.

How do you approach the world of AI as a photographer, especially with AI affecting wildlife so much?
As with any advancement in technology, I think we sometimes forget about the environmental destruction that it can cause. I can definitely speak through, pun intended, the lens of photography. With AI, I think not only does it take away from the artistry of photography, but it also dilutes what is impressive. Because we've seen so many incredible things, we don't realize that what is real and that's more amazing because it's real, you know?

I'm looking for storytelling that shows nature as it's intended. You're not meddling with anything. You're letting nature take its course, and you're photographing it in its true and raw state. I don't care how many AI photos you see. When you see a real, true representation of nature, there is a visceral feeling that hits you in the heart; you just can't deny it. I think storytelling and art has to be authentic, and that is just so important. In wildlife photography, we need a true and authentic representation of nature. In our competition at least, there is no room for AI, that's for sure. It ain't happening.

Matt Bellamy, frontman of the Brit rock outfitMuse, looked back on the 20-year milestone the band is hitting with their 2006 release, "Black Holes and Revelations," with an update on how the hit record will be celebrated.

In an interview with NME, the lead singer discussed that while the band is currently touring their latest release, "The Wow! Signal," a major album birthday snuck up on them. “I think we’re supposed to do some kind of anniversary package, and I’ve got loads of missed emails from management saying we need this, this and this."

He continued, "We'll probably try to put together some kind of anniversary package," which should entice fans enough, particularly the Twi-hard generation. The 2006 album featured "Supermassive Black Hole," a prominent needle drop in the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart starringTwilight film franchise. The song was the soundtrack to the iconic Cullen family vampirebaseball scene, and Muse's feature greatly expanded the band's popularity stateside.

The album reached No. 1 on the UK album charts for 2 weeks, along with five other countries overall, though it did not climb to the top in the U.S. Instead, it peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, still going on to mark Muse’s first U.S. Top 10 album. 

Bellamy told the outlet that performing songs from the hit album is not off the table as he considers adding music from it to their current tour, stating that they may "bring ‘Take A Bow’ into the set,” and offered up the possibility of more for fans, adding, "Whether we play the whole album at some point, that could be an option," which would be amazing for early Muse fans who wanted to see the album during its original tour but had to duke it out for tickets thanks to the band's popularity during the height of Twilight mania.

It's surprising the band has not taken their legendary records, such as "Absolution" and "Black Holes and Revelation," back out on the road. A double album tour of their iconic space rock origins with a live orchestra in a global stadium tour would be incredible. For now, the band is on tour and heading to the states this summer.

Nearly six decades after it first roared into theaters, Easy Rider has picked up another major honor.

BBC Music Magazine has ranked the soundtrack to the 1969 counterculture classic as the greatest movie soundtrack of all time, arguing that it didn't just feature great songs, it fundamentally changed how Hollywood used popular music in film.

The publication praised the soundtrack for breaking with convention by relying on contemporary rock songs instead of a traditional orchestral score. Even more importantly, the music wasn't simply background noise. Songs were carefully chosen to help tell the story and reflect the emotional journey of Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper's freewheeling cross-country odyssey.

The magazine wrote that Easy Rider "gave the movie industry in the US a huge kick in the butt" while calling its soundtrack "equally pioneering." It singled out memorable tracks including Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild," the Jimi Hendrix Experience's "If 6 Was 9," The Byrds' "Wasn't Born to Follow" and The Electric Prunes' "Mass In F Minor" as highlights of an album that helped redefine movie soundtracks.

Released in 1969, Easy Rider followed bikers Wyatt (Fonda) and Billy (Hopper) as they traveled across the American Southwest after a drug deal, encountering communes, prejudice and violence along the way. Jack Nicholson earned his first Academy Award nomination for his breakout supporting performance as attorney George Hanson, while the film itself received a second Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Produced for a reported budget of about $400,000, it went on to gross roughly $60 million worldwide and became one of the defining films of the New Hollywood era.

The soundtrack became a hit in its own right. Released shortly after the film, it climbed to No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and earned a Gold certification. Its blend of contemporary rock helped establish a new template that countless filmmakers would follow in the decades that came after.

BBC Music Magazine's top five greatest rock movie soundtracks are:

The magazine's top 10 also included Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, The Graduate, Pulp Fiction, The Big Chill and Trainspotting, underscoring just how influential Easy Rider's No. 1 finish is among some of the most celebrated soundtracks ever assembled.

More than 55 years after its release, Easy Rider remains a cultural landmark. In 1998, the film was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant," and its soundtrack continues to stand as one of the earliest and most influential examples of popular music becoming an essential part of cinematic storytelling.

Survivor 50 star Rick Devens is joining the cast of Big Brother 28!

According to Entertainment Weekly, the news anchor will be one of the houseguests competing on the upcoming season of the CBS reality series. Big Brotherrevealed 14 of this season's contestants on Tuesday, July 7, via their YouTube channel.

And, according to the outlet, Devens is not the only former Survivor castaway that will be on BB28. A second Survivor alum is also reported to be competing for the $750,000 grand prize, but that persons's identity has not been revealed just yet.

CBS has not confirmed reports that Devens and another Survivor contestant are joining the cast. If true, however, they wouldn't be the only reality TV alumni on Big Brother 28. Tuesday's cast reveal confirmed that RuPaul's Drag Race star Salina EsTitties will also compete this season under their offstage name, Jason De Puy.

Devens first appeared on reality TV in Survivor: Edge of Extinction in 2019, where he finished in fourth place. Although he was originally brought onto Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans as an alternate, the fan favorite ultimately made the cast and became one of the season's biggest standouts.

Most memorably, Devens saved himself from elimination at two consecutive Tribal Councils and doubled the $1 million grand prize to $2 million after winning a coin flip brought to the show by MrBeast. He finished in seventh place.

Devens is far from the first Survivor castaway to cross over to Big Brother. Big Brother 25 featured Cirie Fields, while Hayden Moss and Caleb Reynolds competed on Survivor after their respective Big Brother runs.

Big Brother returns to CBS and Paramount+ on Thursday, July 9. The remaining houseguests will be revealed during the premiere episode.

Dolly Parton’s bio-musical, Dolly: A True Original Musical, is coming to Broadway! But that’s not even the best part. The show’s Broadway opening night is also the icon’s 81st birthday. 

The musical, which is based on the legend’s life, features some of her top hits (‘I Will Always Love You,’ ‘Jolene,’ ‘Coat of Many Colors,’ and ‘9 to 5’) as well as new tunes written by Parton. 

In a pre-recorded video statement, Parton tells fans, “I have some big news that I’m so excited to share. I can officially announce that Dolly: A True Original Musical is coming to Broadway and you're invited.”

She continues, giving us a glimpse of what to expect, “Just like the title says, I mean true in every sense of the word. Now this isn’t about a story about sparkle and shine on the outside. It’s about where I really come from. What I’ve lived. What I’ve lost. What I’ve loved. And how I found my way and told it in my own words and through the music that’s been part of me every step of the journey…This really is a dream come true.”

Broadway previews at the St. James Theatre in New York City start this December. Opening night (and Dolly’s birthday) is January 19.2027.

Even though the show doesn’t officially open until next year, the fan pre-sale starts on Wednesday, July 8, at 10 a.m. ET. Sign up on the Dolly: A True Original Musical website here to register for access. These tickets are available through Friday, July 10, at 9:59 a.m. ET.

Dolly announced the new musical on her Instagram page, captioning the post with the quote, “The rhinestones were never the whole story.” Fans flocked to her post, gushing with giddiness, commenting, “Stop it! Oh my goodness! Dolly the musical at Christmas time in NYC?!!!,” “Can’t wait,” and “Our legendary Queen has spoken, we will always love you Queen Dolly Parton.”

Even though the musical opens on Broadway this winter, it’s already a hit in Nashville. Fans who’ve been lucky enough to catch the musical gave a sneak peek into the show. One commenter wrote, “I was fortunate to see it in Nashville. Such a great show! Glad it’s moving to Broadway and a bigger audience, while others said, “I saw the show in Nashville last year it’s AMAZING” and, “A must see for Dolly fans!”

Sixpence None the Richer was forced to cancel all remaining tour stops after the sudden death of their bassist, Justin Cary, last month.

"We are completely heartbroken over the tragic and untimely loss of our bandmate, brother-in-arms, and friend for 30 years, Justin Cary," lead vocalist Leigh Nash shared via Instagram on Tuesday, July 7. "The past three years had been full of international tours, recording new music, and an even further deepening of the joy of making music together. We were looking forward to connection with new and old fans around the world this summer and fall, but for now we need time to be still and grieve. With heavy hearts, we are canceling all remaining tour dates for 2026."

Nash and guitarist Matt Slocum shared a series of photos from the band's time together alongside their joint statement.

The devastating news comes just weeks after Cary suffered a fatal stroke on June 11 at the age of 50.

"Our brother of 30 years (and bassist), Justin had a stroke Thursday night," Nash announced via Instagram at the time. "His wonderful wife Linda has kept us updated everyday and night too. She is lovely, delicate and unfathomably heartbroken. We love our brother so so much. Words don’t cover it. I know so many out there love him too. Saw his brilliance, second to NONE professionalism, class, humor (oh my lord the humor) wit, tough as an old boot as they say. Many more adjectives to describe him. Please pray for Justin and Linda."

Following Cary's death, a GoFundMe was set up to help his wife and raised more than $50,000.

The band was set to embark on a 2026 tour throughout the United States and the United Kingdom this summer.

Love Island USA fans need to prepare as voting on the Peacock reality series is set to open up again later tonight, but before the vote begins, the series issues a warning to fans as a new twist is set to shake up the dynamic in the villa once again.

The official Love Island USA app teased the upcoming vote, “Tonight’s vote isn’t like the others,” the app teased. “We can’t spill the tea just yet, but we can give you one very important hint: Read. The. Vote. Subtitle. Carefully.”

The fifth vote of the season will begin following the premiere of episode 31 tonight, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET. The vote is expected to remain open for 2.5 hours before closing at 12:30 a.m. ET Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

The app gave one more cryptic clue regarding what the vote will entail, sharing “This little twist is something you’ve asked for… You are very welcome.”

Fans began speculating on what the ‘twist’ could be on social media. One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “streets saying Love Island might be having a 'least compatible' couple vote tonight….. I NEED EVERYONE TO READ BEFORE THEY VOTE ISTG”

A second fan demanded that fans pay attention before impulsively just voting, “Apparently, there’s a twist on the vote tonight…I’m actually so serious, everyone better triple-read what the vote says before clicking okay. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO MESS AROUND, ESPECIALLY WITH THE FINALE COMING UP SOON.”

Meanwhile, a third fan speculated, “I think we’re voting for our least favorite couple tonight, and I know y’all don’t like to read, but give it a try before you vote.”

Lindsay Hubbard has had enough of what she calls "cyber bullying." The Summer Housestar issued a pointed message to Bravo fan accounts on Threads, accusing some of crossing the line from sharing opinions to obsessively targeting cast members with negative content.

Her comments struck a chord with many Bravo viewers, who flooded the replies in support and agreed that some fan accounts have become increasingly driven by outrage and negativity. The discussion follows an apparent dispute over an upcoming In the Citypreview, with Hubbard claiming one account omitted her response when reposting details about the episode.

"Consider this a formal PSA: If you are a Bravo fan account, and 90% of your posts and clips are to incite hate towards ANY @bravotv talent when their show(s) are airing, that is called CYBER BULLYING," she wrote. "It’s okay to have opinions, that’s the point of us putting our lives on TV: different journeys invite different perspectives from the audience. But when the majority of your clips and posts are directed towards one person in an extremely negative way, it reaches a point of obsession and bullying."

Hubbard continued by saying that she understands reality stars invite public opinion, but argued some Bravo fan accounts have crossed the line into targeted harassment. While she appreciates respectful discussion, she said one account has singled her out for years, calling the behavior unacceptable and urging people to treat each other better.

She concluded the thread: "We live in weird times, and the least we can do is enjoy Bravo with respect to the human beings that are opening up their lives."

Hubbard's post quickly drew support from Bravo fans, many of whom agreed that there's a difference between discussing reality TV and repeatedly targeting the same cast member.

One fan praised the Summer House star for speaking up, writing, "Totally agree… Huge fan. Thank you for sharing your life. It's not easy what all of you do and the negativity definitely needs to be dialed back."

Another commenter offered context for what appeared to spark Hubbard's post, alleging that a Bravo fan account shared details about an upcoming episode before deleting the original post and reposting it without Hubbard's response.

Not everyone was on Hubbard's side. A few commenters questioned her criticism or responded with sarcasm, with one writing, "Girl [eyeroll emoji href="https://parade.com/living/emoji-meanings"]," while another joked, "lol was about to attack you til I realized you directed this only at bravo fan accounts so I'm safe."

Overall, however, the early reaction leaned in Hubbard's favor, with many agreeing that criticism of reality stars shouldn't cross into what she described as "cyber bullying."
