Felines are curious little adventurers who'd sooner frolic in a meadow than hang out inside near the window, watching nature happen out of their reach. Even your everyday domestic kitties get a real kick out of tapping into their wild side whenever possible. One of my cats recently realized he likes to "hunt" stuffies lying around, and it's the cutest thing!

British Longhair sisters Biscuit and Blueberry recently had the thrill of a lifetime when Mom took them along for a fun day outdoors. They smelled and climbed to their hearts' content, like they'd done it a thousand times before. This is one adventure that will be hard to top!

If you have indoor cats and feel inspired, you can take your kitties outside to explore, too—but there are some things to keep in mind so all goes smoothly.

First, slowly introduce them to wearing a secure harness (with a snug fit to prevent escape) and leash, practicing inside so they get used to the feeling. Don't force things too quickly; instead, practicing 5 to 10 minutes in supervised sessions in a quiet place can go a long way. Once they're familiar with the restraint, you can move to the backyard and slowly increase the time.

A cat backpack or portable playpen are alternatives to a harness and leash (or in combination with). As long as they're either contained or on some kind of lead, your cats can release their wild sides and have as much fun as Biscuit and Blueberry!

Is Cheese Safe for Dogs To Eat?

We can easily tell that Rosie loves shredded cheese so much that she will try to catch some when it's tossed up in the air outside, which is so cute. And it's a good snack for her, too, according to experts. 

The American Kennel Club shares that cheese is safe for dogs to eat, and it's actually a great snack to use when you're trying to teach your pup new tricks. The club explains that because cheese contains vitamin A, essential fatty acids, calcium, and protein, it benefits their health. And the biggest bonus of cheese is that most dogs love it, and it's often used in treat-motivated training or to encourage a dog to take medicine when it's hidden in the dairy. 

The American Kennel Club does add that dogs don't need more than a few shreds or a small cube, and having more than that might tip the benefits in the wrong direction. Of course, though, if you’re concerned or unsure, it’s always a good idea to check in with your dog’s vet! But, as Rosie shows, doggies love the treat, and we love watching them eat it up!

Cats are famous for their striking coats and unusual markings, but every once in a while, a kitten shows up with fur patterns so perfect they almost look intentional. One tiny Orange Kitten is currently stealing hearts online thanks to markings that make him look like he’s wearing a full-blown supervillain mask.

Well-known animal advocate Isabel Klee has fostered over 30 dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and personalities. In the TikTok from @simonsits, Raven snuggled on the couch with Klee's fiancé, Jacob. The Shih-Tzu was fully enjoying Jacob's loving pets, but had an issue whenever Jacob took a break.

"You have to see the way my foster dog demands attention," the onscreen text read, with the caption adding, "The princess demands her pets."

Every time he stopped and moved his arm away from her, Raven literally stuck her paw out, wrapped it around Jacob's arm, and brought it back to her. It was her own way of saying, "Get back to work." Klee and Jacob were totally amused by her gentle insistence.

Raven Didn't Allow Breaks

The fun part is that Dickens never skied before losing her vision. It was a totally new experience for her. But as she says, "Cross-country skiing and biathlon just gave me that independence that I felt like I was losing through the loss of my eyesight."

What Is a Sun Bear?

Sun Bears may be the smallest of all bear species, but they pack in a surprising amount of personality—and power. In the TikTok from @Madelyn_bissell, Mac was lying on the couch with a huge smile on his face, but his eyes were closed. It seemed like his face was awake, except for his eyes.

"Mac has so much FOMO that he won't let himself go to sleep when people are visiting, even if he can't keep his eyes open," the onscreen text explained.

The precious pooch tried so hard to be a part of the gathering, but fatigue was taking over. Dyce the Rottweiler is already adorable on his own, but adding a little bit of blush never hurt. His mom was a little bit worried about putting makeup on his skin, so she decided she wanted to make him his own blush. That's a great call, and a tasty one!
