Winford Crider

Winford Crider passed away on May 16, 2020 at Meramec Nursing Home of Sullivan, MO at age 80.  Winford was born May 14, 1940 in Bland, MO to the late George and Anna Crider.  He was a resident of Sullivan, MO. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna; brother-in-law, Joe Withouse of Bland, MO; brother-in-law, Walter Fowler of Bay, MO; brother in infancy; niece, Susan Brewer of Wildwood, MO. 

He is survived by his sisters, Lorene Fowler of Bay, MO and Ruby Withouse of Owensville, MO; 

Brother-in-law, Don Voss and wife, Tina, of Sullivan MO; nephew, Steve Brewer of Edwards, MO; niece, Rita Rutherford and husband, Steven, of Columbia, MO; great nephew, Jeffrey Brewer- resides in the Army; great niece, Heather Schmidt of Columbia, MO. 

He worked on the family farm until his father past away.  He was united in marriage to Donna Voss of Sullivan, MO on August 28, 1971- no children. He worked in a couple manufacturing plants in Sullivan, MO until he retired.  Donna past away May 15, 2015 at the Missouri Baptist Sullivan hospital.  He lived alone for a few years, then moved to the Meramec Nursing Home of Sullivan in 2018. 

He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Larry’s Barber Shop was a place he visited often, where he socialized with a cup of coffee. 

Arrangements entrusted to Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan, MO.  A memorial celebration is pending.
