Victoria “Vickie” J. Bizzle, age 65 of Sullivan, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. 

Victoria Jean Mozingo was born on June 27, 1954 in Sullivan, MO, to the late James D. Mozingo and Shirley (Essmeyer) Mozingo. Vickie was raised in Sullivan and attended school here. She was in the graduating class of 1971. Vickie was raised by her stepdad, Dale Blankenship, whom she loved very much. She was married to Carl Bizzle and they had three beautiful children together: Angie, Shannon and Bradley. Carl and Vickie were later divorced. Vickie was employed as a Custodian for the Sullivan High School for the past 27 years. She loved the children at the school and just recently retired in July 2019. Her grandson, Drake, was her special boy; however, she loved all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known to many as “Ma Vic”. Vickie was a lover of Pug dogs. Her two favorite dogs were Cutie Pie and most recently, Maci. Vickie will be lovingly remembered by her family and will never be forgotten. She is now reunited with her two sons, Brad and Shannon. 

Vickie is survived by her daughters, Angela Bizzle and Melissa Martin, both of Sullivan, MO; her mom, Shirley (Essmeyer) Goodman of Sullivan, MO; eight grandchildren: Melinda Bizzle of Sullivan, MO, Bradley Bizzle of Washington, MO, Brianna Studdard of Clovis, NM, Victoria Studdard of Sullivan, MO, Shannon Dixon of Sullivan, MO, Michala Martin of Denver, CO, Makenzie Martin and Drake Martin, both of Sullivan, MO; one great-grandchild, Avery Bizzle; her Dad, Dale Blankenship of Sullivan, MO; two brothers, Mike Blankenship of Bourbon, MO and Robert Carey of Sullivan, MO; one sister, Debbie Goodman of Sullivan, MO; nephew, Russ Carey and wife, Jessi, and their children: Jackson, Aiden and Austin, all of Sullivan, MO; her beloved Pug, Maci; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Brad Bizzle and Shannon Bizzle; one brother, Russell Blankenship; her father, James Mozingo, her grandmother, Mary McMillan; stepdad, Noel Goodman; and her beloved dog, Cutie Pie. 

Funeral services were conducted 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with Pastor Tina Lawrence as the officiant. Interment followed in Cave Spring Cemetery in Sullivan.

Visitation was held from 4:30-8 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
