Trent L. Spindler

Trent L. Spindler, 57, of Columbia, formerly of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Maplelawn Residential Care in Fayette, Missouri.

Trent Lanier Spindler was born on July 11, 1960 to Merle L. Spindler and the late Dorothy Elizabeth Tyree Spindler in Sullivan, Missouri. He attended Sullivan schools. In 1979, Trent served his country in the United States Marines, for which he was very proud. He lived the past few years in Columbia, where he could be close to the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital and V.A. doctors who cared for him.

He is survived by his father, Merle Spindler and wife Audrey of Sullivan; one brother, Jerry Spindler of Steelville; step-sister, Christina Sego of Sullivan; two nephews, Brandon Spindler of Sullivan and Jordon Sego of Sullivan; two nieces, Christa Spindler of Steelville and Heather Spindler of St. Louis, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Trent was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Tyree Spindler.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Sullivan with Pastor Kyle Phillips officiating. Interment followed in Schmidt Cemetery, Sullivan, MO.

Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Sullivan.
