Thomas M. Holdner

Thomas M. Holdner, 72, of Sullivan, MO, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

Thomas was born on February 9, 1948 to Melvin and Elaine (Nelson) in St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up and attended school in the St. Louis area. He began working in sales before eventually becoming and retiring as a diesel mechanic. He was known to be a jack of all trades. He enjoyed racing of any sort and working on cars. He loved to tinker, fix, and build anything. Thomas was a born-again Christian and came to the saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Thomas was later united in marriage to Heidi Gramza on November 26, 2005 in Troy, MO. Together they loved to go fishing, travel the county, and shopping for antiques. In 2013, they purchased property at Woodland Lakes and eventually built their home there with the help of family and friends. He will be dearly missed and loving remembered by many.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Heidi Holdner, of Sullivan, MO; his sister, Linda Moore and husband, Robert (Bob), of Troy, MO; seven sons: Jeffery Holdner of Wentzville, MO, Joseph Holdner of St. Louis, MO, Jamie Holdner and his wife Amy of Troy, MO, Andrew Holdner and his wife Alicia of Laquey, MO, Lyle Holdner and his wife Leanza of Rochester, MN, Fredrick Clarke of St. Louis, MO, and Randy Clarke of St. Louis, MO; two daughters: Evette Clarke (Kevin) of Cuba, MO, and Natalie Palislamovic and her husband Anel of Troy, MO; six grandchildren: Gabby Holdner, soon to arrive: Lincoln Holdner, David Odom, Annalee Palislamovic, Colton Palislamovic, and Emmalee Palislamovic; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elaine.
