Thomas James Shelton

Thomas James Shelton, age 31, of Bourbon, MO, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Evelyn’s Hospice House in Creve Coeur, MO. 

Thomas James, known as Tommy by his family and friends, was born on May 6, 1988 to James E. and Susan Irene (Smith) Shelton, Jr. He attended and graduated from Bourbon High School, class of 2006. He was employed as a grill cook for Cracker Barrel for several years and really enjoyed working there. Tommy loved Batman and playing X Box. He was very fond of his pets, Sadie, Rosie and Marley. He is at peace now and isn’t in pain anymore.  

Tommy is survived by his mother, Susan Shelton of Bourbon, MO;  dad, John Suggs and wife, Karen, of McClure, IL; two sisters, Jamie Shelton of Bourbon, MO, and Shawna Suggs of Poplar Bluff, MO; one niece and two nephews, Naomi and Josiah Shelton and Braydon Mayer, all of Bourbon, MO; other relatives and many friends. 

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, James E. Shelton. 

Graveside Services were conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, MO.
