Tammy L. Gassner
Tammy Linn (Rowen) Gassner, age 52, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in O’Fallon, MO.
Tammy was born on July 15, 1965 to Donald C. Rowen and Nancy K. (Kruse) Rowen, in New Orleans, LA. Soon after Tammy was born, her parents decided to move back to St. Charles, MO, where she grew up and attended Fort Zumwalt High School, graduating with the class of 1984. She was united in marriage to James Edward Gassner on July 17, 1983, in St. Charles, MO and to this union, eight children were born: Jonathan, Samuel, Angela, Nathan, Patricia, Noah, Theresa and Theodore. Tammy loved all sorts of crafts, cake decorating, scrapbooking, baking and especially enjoyed decorating her house for the holidays. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Tammy is survived by her husband, James Gassner of Sullivan; eight children, Jonathan M. Gassner and wife Danielle of St. Clair, Samuel R. Gassner of Marthasville, MO, Angela M. Hongisto and husband Nathan of Warrenton, MO, Nathan E. Gassner, Patricia A. Gassner, Noah G. Gassner, Theresa G. Gassner and Theodore I. Gassner, all of Sullivan; her mother, Nancy K. (Kruse) Rowen of O’Fallon; one sister, Polly Holtmann and husband Mike of Perryville, MO; as well as other relatives and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Rowen.
Funeral Services were conducted 12 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor David Gargus officiating. Interment followed in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Sullivan.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 12- p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home.
