Sandra S. Moll

Sandra S. Moll, age 74 of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Rosebud, MO, passed away peacefully in her St. Louis home on Monday, May 27, 2019. 

Sandra Moll was born December 3, 1944 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Samuel and Mary (King) Perrigo. She grew up and attended school at St. Francis de Sales, graduating from high school in 1962. After attending St. Louis Community College for two years, Sandra began working for the City of St. Louis Street Department as Secretary to the Director of Streets. Sandra also did secretarial work for the Firemen’s Retirement office. After retiring in 2000, she volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in St. Louis City and Mid-Ozark for 4-5 years.  She loved the children she worked with and was very reliable.  Sandra was united in marriage to James Moll on March 23, 1979 at St. Francis de Sales in St. Louis. Sandy and Jim, along with friends, built a beautiful log cabin in the country.  They were busy planting gardens, canning jelly and making the best elderberry wine.  They were always entertaining with hayrides, bonfires, fishing and tractor pulls. 

Sandra is survived by her sister, Sharon Dawson and husband, Robert, of St. Louis, MO; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Moll of St. Louis, MO, and Mary Anne Keller of Fenton, MO; brother-in-law, John Moll and wife, Betty, of Columbia, IL; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moll; her parents, Samuel and Mary Perrigo; stepfather, John Hornbeck; two sisters, Phyllis Secoy and Marilyn Perrigo; sister-in-law, Sr. Dorothea Moll; and one brother-in-law, Ted Moll, Sr. 

Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church with Father Tim Henderson celebrating. Interment followed in the Holy Martyrs of Japan Cemetery. 

Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m., Friday, prior to the Funeral Mass at Holy Martyrs Church. 

Memorial contributions, in Sandy’s memory, may be given to:  Mid-Ozark CASA and/or BackStoppers.
