Rose Antionette Hasting

Rose A. Hasting, 81, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2020.

Rose Antionette Travis was born in Clayton, MO, on April 19, 1939, to the late Lee and Jessie Fay (Atwood) Travis. She grew up and attended school in Overland, MO. Rose worked as a florist in St. Clair for many years. She was a mother to her four children: Jeffery, Christine, Susan and Daniel. Rose was united in marriage to the love of her life, Raymond Hasting, on September 16, 1995. They enjoyed many years together before Raymond’s passing on Memorial Day in 2015.

Rose was an accomplished seamstress and loved crafts, such as crochet, woodworking and painting. Rose also enjoyed small carpentry projects. She faithfully attended Baptist Churches. Rose will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.

Rose is survived by three of her children:  Christine Roussin, Susan Ryan, and Daniel Roussin; four stepchildren: Jeffrey Hasting and wife, Jennifer, Linda Drummand, Diane Rose, and Jennifer Hasting; four grandchildren:  Jamie Ryan (Gabe Rawson), Jennifer Ryan (James Harris), Matthew Ryan (Aly), and Douglas Roussin; five great-grandchildren: Brighton, Jude, Teagan, Prudence and Easton; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hasting; one son, Jeffery Roussin; one grandchild, Lisa R. Ingram; five brothers: Howard, George, Lee, Donald and Guy Travis; four sisters: M. Louise Valenti, Marion F. Johnson, Betty J. Jagels and Patricia J. Pashia.

Cremation arrangements have taken place.
