Ronald James Roach

Ronald James Roach was born February 8, 1955 in St. Louis, MO, to William Lyle Roach and Alice Marie (Key) Roach of Sullivan, MO. Ronald passed away December 29, 2019 in his home, surrounded by his wife and children.

Ron met the love of his life, Ruth Ann (Eoff) Richardson, on June 10, 1978 over their mutual love for Ron’s 1965 Pontiac LeMans; which Ruth later won in a race between the two. This love later led them to be married. The two were blessed with three children. Once married, Ruth brought her first three children, uniting the family as one.

Ron proudly worked 20 plus years for Jim Feese at Feese Chevrolet, detailing cars. Ron always said “You couldn’t ask for a better boss or friend than Jim.” After Feese Chevrolet changed ownership, Ron went to work for another friend of his, Amos Payne, detailing cars at D&A Detailing for many years.

Ron enjoyed all things outdoors, including hunting, fishing, swimming and mostly camping. He really loved muscle cars and loud country music. Most of all, Ron enjoyed taking his wife dancing at the White Swan, and spoke of the memories shared there for many years.

Ron leaves behind his wife, Ruth; three children: Angela (Roach) Moss and husband Kevin, Brandy Roach, and Ronald Roach Jr. and fiancée Sonia Madrid, all of Sullivan, MO; Tammy (Richardson) Henson of St. James, MO; Roy Richardson, Jr. of Vichy, MO; Charley Richardson and wife Jeanie of Jerome, MO; many grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by both parents; one sister, April Voss; and a special mother-in-law, Hazel G. Eoff.
