Rich A. Crow
Rich A. Crow, 51, of Stanton, MO, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Rich Alan was born on April 30, 1966 to Vernon L. Shepherd and Connie (Lawson) Crow, in Sullivan, MO. He grew up and attended Sullivan School and was in the graduating class of 1984. Rich was united in marriage to Lori Strauser in 1984 and to this union, two children were born; Drew and Jessica. They later divorced and Rich met and married Peggy Scott on December 17, 1999. Rich began operating equipment as a young man and continued to do so for the remainder of his career. He began working out of the Local 2 in St. Louis in 1994 and he was always very proud of the time spent working with them.
Rich was saved and baptized on June 25, 2005. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time on the river, boating. He enjoyed going to the ocean and being on the beach. Rich was also a gun collector and competed in archery shoots. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Rich is survived by his wife, Peggy A. (Scott) Crow of Stanton, MO; four children, Drew Crow (Deana True) of Sullivan, MO; Jessica Crow of Sullivan, MO; Brittney Smith of Springfield, MO; and Miah Gildehause of Stanton, MO; his mother, Connie (Crow) Lawson of Sullivan, MO; one brother, Damon Shepherd of Sullivan, MO; one sister, Shannon Davidson (Michael) of Sullivan, MO; six grandchildren: Cayden, Khloe, Matthew, Averie, Tyson and Elizabeth; other relatives and friends.
Rich was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Shepherd.
Visitation was held from 12-2 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
A Memorial Service was conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Bob Murphy officiating. Cremation followed.
All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO.
