Reverend Kenneth B. Kelley

Reverend Kenneth B. Kelley, 91, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at Missouri Baptist Hospital – St. Louis.

Kenneth Boyd Kelley was born in Paragould, Arkansas, August 2, 1929, to Lloyd and Violet (McCord) Kelley. He honorably served his country in the United States Army for a short time, and then in the Civil Air Patrol for eleven years, where he completed the Chaplain Program and retired as a Major. Kenneth was united in marriage to Patricia L. Musgrove on June 21, 1958, in St. Louis, MO. They were blessed with five children: Cynthia, Carol, Timothy, Lori and Vikki.

Kenneth attended Bible College in 1981 and served in Ministry ever since. He also worked in a factory in St. Louis for twenty-one years, where he was a setup and lead person. Kenneth enjoyed playing guitar and singing, as well as doing some tinkering of his own. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his five children: Cynthia Flint and husband, Wayne, of Chicago, IL, Carol Shackelford and husband, Gene, of Union, MO, Timothy Kelley of Sullivan, MO, Lori Kelley of O’Fallon, MO, and Vikki Wolf and husband, Don, of Bourbon, MO; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; one brother, Ronnie Kelley of St. Louis, MO; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents, Lloyd and Violet Kelley; one brother, Charles Kelley; and one sister, Perley Mae McClain.

Graveside services, with military honors, were held 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 in Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery – St. Clair.
