Randy McDaniel, age 67, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home.

Randall Dale, known as Randy, was born on September 25, 1951 in Washington, MO, the son of James Lee McDaniel and Mildred (Pursley) McDaniel. He lived his entire life in Sullivan and will be remembered by many of his friends for his love of sports; he played basketball, baseball and enjoyed bowling. Randy was employed by the United States Postal Service in Sullivan, serving as a mail carrier for much of his adult life. He enjoyed his work and loved to recount some of the interesting things that happened while on the job. After retirement, Randy delivered flowers for Petals and Plants; a job he very much enjoyed. He also delivered medication for a pharmacy in Cuba. 

Randy was an openhearted man. At last, he was the victim of an insidious disease that no one knew how to deal with. Randy was loved and will be missed by many. 

Randy is survived by his children, Keith McDaniel of St. Louis, MO, and Tara Lordo and husband, Charlie, of Ladue, MO; two grandsons, Connor and Chase Lordo; two brothers, Wayne McDaniel of O’Fallon, MO, and Jim McDaniel and wife, Charlotte, of Wildwood, MO; brother-in-law, Dana Campbell of Sullivan, MO; nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee McDaniel and Mildred McWilliams; and his sister, Bertie Campbell. 

A gathering of family and friends was held from 4-6 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2019 at Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. 

Memorial contributions may be made to: HALO or New Hope at Missouri Baptist Hospital. 

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan, MO.
