Peggy W. Ruwwe, age 83, of Bourbon, MO, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. 

Peggy W. Owens was born on July 21, 1934 to Charles and Minerva (McKinney) Owens in Bland, MO. Peggy grew up and attended school in the Gerald area. Through the years, Peggy worked in several different areas and retired from St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Washington. Peggy was united in marriage to Donald K. Ruwwe on June 21, 2002 in St. Louis, Missouri. Together, they blended their families. Peggy loved her family with all her heart. She enjoyed being creative and being outdoors. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald Ruwwe; three sons, Michael Kuhrts, Kelly Kuhrts and Jonathon Klepper; two daughters, Vicki Blake and Lorelei Kuhrts; three stepchildren, Steven Ruwwe, Jan Lein and Linda Schneider; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Ison and husband Denver, Margaret Crites and Georgia Tyree; other relatives and many friends. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Minerva Owens; three brothers, Eldo, Edward and Murral Owens; one sister, Wanda Jones and her stepdaughter, Laura Nicoletti.  

It was Peggy’s wish to be cremated. Her ashes will be buried at Cave Spring Cemetery. 

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan and Bourbon, MO.
