Patricia Elouise Robinson

Patricia Elouise Robinson of Cuba, MO, was born on February 21, 1936 to Charles and Alma (Jones) Halfaker and passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 82 years and 23 days.

Patricia, fondly called Patsy, was united in marriage to Billy D. Robinson on Christmas Day, December 25, 1952 in Bourbon, MO. They celebrated 65 wonderful years together this past Christmas.

She was employed by Southwestern Bell, currently known as AT&T, as a service representative, for 20 years until she retired. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She loved to paint, research genealogy, and tend to her gardens. She enjoyed writing and authored two books and numerous poems.

Patricia’s love for God extended to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always had her arms extended for hugs and kisses. Many years ago, she was baptized, in the name of Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alma (Jones) Halfaker; two brothers, Dwight Halfaker and Terry Halfaker, and son-in-law Robert Rose.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Robinson of Cuba MOi; three children, Steven (Barbara) Robinson of Washington, MO, Cathy Robinson Rose of Sullivan, MO and Gregory (Christine) Robinson of Fenton, MO; brother, Charles (Shirley) Halfaker of Leasburg, MO; sister, Janice Cartwright of Bourbon, MO; eight grandchildren, Stefanie (Andy) Virgen, Beth (Sean) Barton, Vicki (Sam) Cook, Daniel Robinson, Alicia (Michael) Wattle, Andrew Rose, Gregory (Torie) Robinson, and Jessica (Jon) Haar; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ava, Isaac, Tatum, Cordelia, Maxwell, Kaiden, and Harper; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2018 and Funeral Service at 11 a.m. was held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Pastor Michael Stephens officiating. Burial at Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, MO.
