Patricia C. Mastin
Patricia C. Mastin, age 78, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at her home.
Patricia Charlene Bell was born on April 24, 1941 in Flat River, MO, the daughter of Charles Wilson and Mildred “Gwen” (Morris) Bell. She grew up, graduated high school, and went to work for Paco for five years. Pat was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Mastin on November 14, 1961, at which time she became a homemaker. They were blessed with three children: Dale, Gary and Charlene. Pat and Kenny were able to share 57 wonderful years of marriage together.
Pat’s hobbies included attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events, taking care of her peacocks and chickens, gardening and helping others. She attended Temple Baptist Church, where she loved taking care of the children in the nursery and helping out at vacation Bible school. Pat always had a smile on her face. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Pat is survived by her husband, Kenny Mastin of Sullivan; three children: Dale Mastin, Gary Mastin, and Charlene (Steve) Grissom, all of Sullivan; five grandchildren: Dylan Grissom, Lauren Grissom, Ashley Mastin, Nicole (Nathan) Hayes, and Monica (Noah) Skinner; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Bell; her mother, Gwen Bell; her brother, Bob Bell; her father-in-law, Ray Mastin; mother-in-law, Pearl Mastin; and brother-in-law, Gary Mastin.
Funeral Services were conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, with Pastor Scott Perry as the officiant. Burial followed in New Cave Spring Cemetery in Sullivan.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2019 at Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan.
Memorial contributions may be given to Challenge to Build at Temple Baptist Church.
