Patricia A. Borden
Patricia “Pat” A. Borden, age 64, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at her home.
Pat Borden was born on July 19, 1953 to the late William A. and Mary F. (Wickware) Borden, in Tuscumbia, AL. She grew up and attended school in North St. Louis and then obtained her GED. After several marriages, including her marriage to husband William Patton, she was blessed with five children: Tony, Tracy, James, Tammy and Billie Jo. In 1987, William passed away. In her younger years, Pat was a devoted mother and worked as a CNA. In 2003, she moved to Sullivan with her daughters, Tammy and Tracy, and made their home there. Pat enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors and watching baseball games. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and spending time with family. Pat was also a member of Full Gospel Assembly of God in Sullivan. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Pat is survived by five children, Tony Borden and wife Denise of St. Clair, MO, Tracy McGowan of Sullivan, MO, James McGowan and wife Angie of Cuba, MO, Tammy Patton of Sullivan, MO and Billie Jo Patton of Cedar Hill, MO; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Billy Borden and wife Penny of St. Louis, MO, Diane Borden of St. Louis, MO, Timmy Borden of St. Louis, MO, Ronnie Borden and wife Deanna of St. Louis, MO, James Borden and wife Lorri of Granite City, IL, Wanda Hanstein and husband Randy of St. Louis, MO and Debra Flores and husband Felix of St. Louis, MO; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, William Patton and her parents, William A. and Mary F. (Wickware) Borden.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Full Gospel Assembly of God in Sullivan.
Funeral Services were conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, at the Full Gospel Assembly of God, with Pastor Ryan Martin officiating. Interment followed in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan.
