Pamela L. LaPlante, 60, of Sullivan, MO, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Pamela Lynn Lingner was born in St. Louis, MO, on January 21, 1960, to the late Donald Sr. and Lenora (Ebenho) Lingner. She grew up and attended school in South County, Oakville, graduating in 1978. As a young woman, Pamela went to work for Lamer & Rapert Accounting Firm, for whom she worked with for the next 32 years. Pamela was blessed with her daughter, Julie, on September 30, 1983.

Pamela was united in marriage to Scott T. LaPlante on May 19, 2007. They had dated some in high school, but life took them in different directions. They happily reacquainted in 2005 and were blessed with 13 special years together. They made their home in Stanton in 2016.

Pamela was a good homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, Haley. Her hobbies included trout fishing, visiting casinos from time to time, and watching Cardinals Baseball. Pamela will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Scott LaPlante of Sullivan; one daughter, Julie LaPlante and husband, Clay, of Sullivan; one granddaughter, Haley LaPlante; three siblings: Debbie Minton of St. Louis, MO, Denise Vondahaar and husband, Bill, of St. Louis, MO, and Donald Lingner, Jr. and wife, Jorie, of St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Sr. and Lenora Lingner.

Cremation arrangements have taken place.
